Ordered large chips, cod, large battered sausage & gravy sauce on Deliveroo, not the best fish and chips I've had, the gravy sauce was watery and had this distasteful sourness to it, would of at least expected for it to have some thickness and consistency to the gravy. The chips was good and the cod & battered sausage was nice and crispy. Other than the gravy sauce, everything else was good.

Peasant & helpful staff, excellent food at a very reasonable price. Recommended.

Perfect!! Having recently moved to the area, I needed fish and chips and after years of having rubbish chips and fish, it was finally nice to come to a great one!! Great tasting food and fairly priced and more importantly, lovely owners and people!

I rarely give 5 stars but believe this chip shop deserves it. Been going here for over 5 years and fish and chips are consistently very nice. Chips lovely and golden and fish cooked fresh to order. Very friendly owners and exceptional customer service. Keep up the good work :)

Stopped here tonight for fish and chips, fish was very fresh excellent taste and chips were golden and freshly cooked so a great meal and would recommend using them I certainly will use them again

Super little chippy with friendly staff and tasty fish and chips.

My parents who are in their twilight years are very set in their ways. Before they moved back to Northern Ireland, this was the chip shop they visited. To have my father say he liked something, he had taken years to come to that conclusion. Yes, he is difficult. SO, They went back to the motherland and me and my sister who are still in Norwich, wanted chips and a nice piece of cod. We tried the ones in the city centre on the food apps, but were sub par. Burnt chips and soggy fish! Absolute nightmare!! I know the virus of unspecified origin and Ukrainian conflict, really make a " good piece of fish " quite redundant, but with my hand on my heart Happy is the place to go! If you want to turn your brain off to what's going on and just enjoy a meal like we used to, this is the place. Love them!!

Absolute disgusting chips and curry sauce my dog would not eat what we left should be ashamed been there long enough to no how at least to fry chips but some how still carnt gutted it's my closest chip shop never again try at your own risk once tryed never again

Brilliant fish & chips. Freshly cooked to order and a lovely message written on the paper. All washed down with a tin of Vimto ....heaven

Not at all impressed. They got our order wrong even after it was repeated to them twice. I was not convinced the spring roll was vegetarian let alone vegan!

Amazing chips as usual 😋 a very welcoming place. The owners remember you and write little messages on the chip wrapper saying 'get well soon' when you can't get there with your partner as usual. Yum 🤘

Always polite friendly service, very tasty chips etc. We only use this shop for chips, during quieter times they cook to order so you know everything is fresh and been sitting in the keep warm cabinet for ages.

Just the mutts!! Ask chef anyfink you need & he will always come through. The lady is just a genuine rarely seen polite loyal on the counter co-owner. Love em x
