The best bakery in Oxford! As an aspiring baker I love their sourdough, it’s the gold standard and made with local heritage grains which only makes it more interesting. The sweet treats are amazing too, I always go for the bread but end up leaving with more.

If food miles are your thing then buy local bread made by the owners with locally sourced ingredients. Also able to buy veg, wine, etc, not the cheapest but food like it shop taste. The bread freezes well

Truly a local gem. The menu is small but everything is perfectly crafted and the owner and his wife are brilliant bakers. The best bread we ate in the 10 days we were in England. Trust him on what to order and you will not be disappointed. This is a local gem and there will be few if anyone there who isn't a regular. It is a win for everyone in the family (my 8 and 12 year old consider it the best grilled cheese of their lives).

Delicious, freshly baked bread and other treats, like buttery and beautiful cardamom buns. Farm-fresh eggs and homemade condiments too! Hamblin has become a weekend shopping staple for my husband and me. Can't wait to try their breakfasts and pizzas!

It's a small bakery that can get crowded, as it seems to be very popular with locals. The selection of breakfast options is not large, but it's delicious. Tasty sourdough bread, for instance topped with charts and tomatoes, rounded up with a lovely selection of teas. Go try it!

Bread. It's in the name, and it's amazing. All of their loaves are sourdough, made from freshly milled English grains, and are some of the best you'll get anywhere. The rye loaf and the einkorn are favorites, but get there early or they might be sold out of some varieties. Most of their food options incorporate their bread; you might get a couple types with the Hamblin Breakfast, or try the crispy-gooey grilled cheese. Ask about specials, too. Finally, Hugo and Kate are absolutely lovely, and have built a wonderful community in this cozy space. You can't leave without a cardamom bun and/or a cookie. Seriously. You'll thank me later (when you have a cardamom bun).

Good fish and chips with good service well worth a visit to sit outside and enjoy the view. Batter was crisp and not greasy and the fish taster fresh. Enjoyable meal.

We have ordered a buffet for our Christmas party for Open Stage Arts two years in a row now. Delicious food, presented well, and at a reasonable price. We will using the catering services again. Cakes at the cafe are lovely too.

Delicious, fresh and nutritious. Each arepa is lovingly and authentically made in true Columbian tradition.
