Poor service and lie after lie... ordered food online and was told delivery would be 8.15pm. Had a text shortly before to say delivery would be 8.30. Rang them at 8.45 and they said driver was on his way.... At 8.50 got a text saying refund was not possible because driver had been stuck in traffic. At 9pm we rang back and they said pizza was just being packed and would be with us in 10 minutes so previous messages were obviously lies.. pizza finally arrived at 9.35. They did throw in a free bottle of coke but would have prefered more honesty over timings.

Apsolutely awful service - food ordered said 30 minute wait for delivery, instantly got a delay text through as soon as order was made (why not update the app with actual time in the first place!) - hour later called to see how long it was going to be if it was even coming as we just wanted it cancelled if not as only the restaurant can cancel the order, was told 10-15 it will be on the way, 30 minutes later still no sign of food, called back, got told ours was next, 30 minutes later still no food called got told it was on the way, so we are now two hours in and no food, the restaurant then wouldn't answer the phone - food never arrived I then came on here to see very very similar experience - WOULD NOT RECCOMEND!

The worst experience ever, gave us a 40-45 minute time scale but it arrived over half hour late . 💯 % wasn't worth waiting for pizza's like cardboard ,garlic sauce all over chips & not in a separate pot , it was salty & disgusting making the covered chips inedible & went in bin. Being sick in the early hours so not an experience I ever want to repeat. WOULD NOT RECCOMEND HALLEYS PIZZA TO ANYONE.

Horrendous customer service we ordered £22 of food from them and normally it arrives without an issue but after waiting 2 hours we phoned up to be told it was on its way... another hour later still no show so phoned and then to have the phone put down on us .. then rang again and the call was immediately cancelled!!!!! So we decided to call up the next day to request a refund to be accused of lying and told the driver saud he delivered it. Then started asking why we didn't sort it last night .. when we clearly tried ... then they said they couldn't authorise a refund we'd have to go through food hubs website. Never ordering from this place again!

Excellent pizza best in town, delivery can be hit and miss but I normally pre order and food always delivered fast. It's the only pizza place I use.

Food was not on time but said it had been delivered on the app when it hasn’t , food was cold when arrived. Won’t be ordering again as disappointed. They also said on the phone it was round the corner when it wasn’t been waiting over half hour for the food to arrive.

Calzone greasy, and kebab had a fishy taste to it, this has been the worst meal I have ever had from Halleys

Since lockdown we have been using Halley's restaurant and delivery for a while now and Everytime we use them the food has been spot on and never late , 3 pound delivery charge but worth every penny , and service is excellent too so I recommend Halley's restaurant and pizzeria to anyone

If you order from these jokers, make sure to select pay on delivery. After being told 3 times that our food was on it’s way with the driver, we decided after over 3 hours it had probably gone cold! So we tried to get through on the phone one last time, before heading home from our friends house, but there was no answer. We left a mobile number, yet the idiot driver rang our landline to ask where we were......... will never bother with these again, a little honesty was all I needed, would of gladly waited, if we’d known they were just running a few hours late!

Terrible service , we where missing items from the order . When we phoned we where told the order was in the oven however as our order was missing items it did not include oven items . Everyone's busy but just be honest guys .

No complaints with the food, I usually can't stand takeaway pizza but it's amazing from here every time!

Absolute worst pizza I've had. Didn't even show up on just eat that was on it's way, turned up 30 minutes after ordering, so including delivery time that is a rushed job. The pizza and garlic bread was so thick and doughy and undercooked. I even had to put it in my own oven to try crisp it up a bit and it still didn't, so clearly undercooked dough. Will never order again!

We usually Enjoy the food from Halley’s. On Friday, the 3rd of August however we had a horrendous pizza. I don’t know if they’ve changed the cheese or what the hell they’ve done but the cheese was like grated cardboard and hadn’t melted on top of the pizza. We took a couple of bites and had to bin it it was awful. If you have change the cheese please change it back and let us know when you have as we won’t be eating there again until something has changed.

if you order on a friday expect a delivery on a sunday. complete and utter bollocks. not one if yer hungry.

Normally fine but will not be ordering again the chips came in polystyrene and clearly been microwaved as the chips where stuck to the polystyrene not fit to eat 🤢

I used halleys every week or so and last night was the last time I will ever use them my meal came to £13.90 paid with card but there was trouble with the payment so was told to click another payment link Barclays or something which I now know to be Datman so this morning checking the bank and low and behold 2 payments for £13.90 1 to takeaway j e or something like that and 1 to Datman who I now know have something to do with the payment system at halley’s . Rang halleys today 4pm was told to ring back at 4.30 which I did only to be told halleys only took 1 payment � so who is Datman I asked ??? There run our payment system but we have only take 1 payment ! YES but so has DATMAN your system for payments !!!!!!!!!! So that is 2 payments NOT 1 which I’m trying to workout if it is THEFT OR CARD FRAUD as I haven’t authorised 2 payments !!!!!!!!! Was told to go to the shop and he will show me they have only taken 1 payment which yes takeaway j e has taken 1 payment I agree BUT What about you payment service DATMAN taking £13.90 by FRAUD or THEFT ??????It’s on my telephone banking and I’ve spoke to my bank who have confirmed it that it’s all the same business!!!!!!!!!!!So please be careful when ordering oh and watch out for the 40p SERVICE charge they add to your or even if paying cash or card (which carries another 65p charge )

ordered at 6:30pm said it would be delivered at 7:15 okay that's fine got to 8:00 still not delivered called up complained said would be delivered 10-15 minutes still not complained again waited nearly 2hrs it's stupid

Best pizza place we have found for a long time. The thing that surprised me the most was that the chips we ordered with our pizzas were actually hot. I can't remember the last time I ordered chips from any pizza place, where they have been hot. They're usually lukewarm. Will definitely order from here again.

Delivery time was good but i ordered garlic mayo on my mixed kebab i was sent chilli ? The donner meat was cold it had to be reheated and only recieving 5 pieces of thinly cut chicken kebab on a £9.10 is shocking value for money

Was 30 mins late asked for no mushrooms as can't eat them and still put them in! So made a sandwich. All the food was greasy and mushed up wen it arrived.very disappointing and a waste of money!!!

Great food not bad delivery time just annoyed that it states it's £1 delivery on just eat. Yet when I've gone to pay its £2.50 and I'm not even any more then 1.5 miles away. Felt like it was false advertising to me maybe trying to get a bit more money out of customer. Unsure if I would use again.... felt like I'd been lied to even though it's £1.50 still not the point.

I usually enjoy the meals unfortunately when the meal arrived it was barely warm so am disappointed with the quality this time.
