Pop in with wife for a pint stayed for about 3 hours lovely atmosphere great ales a lovely couple own it made us very welcome will be going back

Small micro pub. Landlord cheerfully took us through his range of beers and ciders, offering us samples. The IPA I had was excellent. Recommended.

A gem! Little friendly place with superb real ale and decent gin (with fevertree tonic). We were made to feel welcome by landlady and regulars alike, not like some village pubs. Cash only - be warned - although there's a sash point down the road at the co-op.

What a fantastic find. After being recommended so many times we managed a visit today. What a gem. The staff, the ales, the prices and of course the customers. Absolutely the best. We will be back.

Had a great time here last night. Visiting Minster from Canada. We were looking for somewhere to grab a quick drink and as we walked by they called us in. Great drinks & great people! Going to try and go back before we head out.

Very welcoming even if we were unknown. Sunday lunchtime snacks. Including roast potatoes. Beer range fantastic, new beers and breweries for me. Must visit again for more!

Good selection of ales. Gary and julie are excellent hosts! There is a marquee around the corner for outside drinks. You can even bring in your chips from across the road.

Hiya ,,I worked down at sandwich for Murphy's back in the summer ,,I stumbled across the hair of the dog on a walkabout ,,the owners where very welcoming and the landlady was a west ham girl ,,my team ,, I used the pub as and when I was on the manor ,,one evening someone had left chilli plants on the table for sale ,, I purchased two ,,the one I cared for sadly didn't amount to nothing ,,but the one mum received ,,had sprouted one chilli ,,and today was harvest day ,,all I can say is I've never tasted anything so hot it was insanely hot ,,so did anyone else take and bear fruit on there chilli tree .great little establishment .

I love the atmosphere even if a bit loud at times. Everyone is friendly and there's a good choice of drinks at a decent price.

Ace micropub. No food, but a chippy across road.

Micro pub with a large selection of ciders and real ales, servered in a room the size of your nan's front room. Normally they have 5 ales and 5 ciders on, the ales can change from IPA's to bitters to porters so there is plenty to choose from. Bar snacks are the usual fair of crisps nuts and charity pickled eggs or chilli onions (so so hot). Sundays usually have buffet finger food. There is a reciprical repationship with the chip shop over the road (which is also good) where you can take beers over the road and drink while eating in its resturant... Or you can bring food over to the pub. They offer takeouts as well. The atomosphere can be described as good, with the usual "character" local who is happy to talk at you 😉, but also like the bar in "cheers" its where everyone knows your name. A proper boozer to while away an idle afternoon.
