Under new ownership apparently. 5 quid for a piece of Victoria sponge to take out. They just lost a regular customer.

Absolute rip off got my grandkids chips n gravy it cost £10 I will never go there again £3.50 for chips and£1.50for gravy no wonder it's empty you don't deser be custom

Absolute rip off! I payed £9.85 for 3 bacon, 1 hash brown, 1 black pudding, half a tomato, mushrooms and a cup of tea. The food wasn't even cooked fresh, it was under heat lamps and the woman said they have no plates so it was served to me in a card board box even though I was eating in!! I was still hungry after I'd eaten it, so I decided to buy 1 slice of caramel short bread at £2.85 another rip off!. I was looking forward to having my breakfast at this cafe before I went fishing, I can't say it was a nice experience. My advice to this cafe is to lower your prices a bit and also serve the breakfasts on plates so you can actually eat it properly. And also cook the food fresh like most cafes do.

If you go at busy times you might do well to plan your funeral and pop yourself into a coffin at the point you join the start of the queue, because you will likely have died of old age by the time you reach the counter. Why is it so slow you ask? Because the kitchen is exclusively staffed by the same middle-aged women who are employed by greenhalghs and waterfields and spend their time chatting and lollygagging whilst not allowing quicker service to interfere with their watching people out of the window. Food is good but served glacially slowly.

Went to All You Knead cafe yesterday bought a delicious brie and pepper pannine.Went back later for two currant buns the best I have tasted in a long while. The girl behind the counter (don't know her name) deserved a medal working in all the heat. Keep up the good work your food is delicious.

We've all had the most amazing day here today. We've been on the high ropes, played golf and done some painting. It's just been fantastic

I think that wigan Council are wrong charging for disabled parking when Haigh Hall was left to the public I won't be going again and I might get on to media about it

All You Knead is a wonderful bakery/cafe. Their pies and Portuguese Tarts are sublime. Service is so friendly.

Great place to stop at if you've been around the Grounds for a walk. A number of food retailers in a courtyard and great prices as well.

I enjoyed a really tasty latte coffee and the ambience of the Haigh Kitchen Courtyard Cafe after my walk with my fellow St Helens Group R.A Ramblers, all the Staff were very polite and helpful too. :)

Terrible coffee. Had dishwater with more flavour. Not a one off either!

Food is way too expensive for the quality.

Needs a separate till for customers only buying drinks.

Loved the artisan markets then two left feet for a quick half of lager.

Not enough seating and a little pricey but it's a nice experience for the children and the staff are nice

Great family say out with youngster of all ages or just a pleasent walk. Cafe in courtyard along with small craft shops. ESY access to canel for those who wish to walk a little further. Since the introduction of a new play area and sky adventure climb g area as become more popular especially at the weekend and bank holidays.

Was here for the dog show a few weeks ago and have to say I don't really understand why it has really good stars. First of all, the prices for drinks are insane. It would have been cheaper to go the ice cream man across the way. Secondly, the cookies that we bought were rock solid and had no taste. I've never tasted a worse cookie before. I would have enjoyed an Asdas own cookie more and theyre 5 for a pound, this cafe was charging a pound for one hard, tasteless cookie. Next time I'm around here I'll be avoiding this insanely overpriced cafe that can't seem to bake a cookie.

A lovely courtyard lined with interesting eateries & shops. Some could try harder, but appear to be dumbing-down? Great pity.

Really nice to expensive but nice

Je moc dobře že je u tak krásného parku možnost dát si kávu nejen s sebou. Byli jsme tam v sobotu, takže byli dost busy. Uklizeno teda nebylo a ve frontě jsem si postála. Ale kafe I čokoláda dobré. Nevím jak je to možné že se v některých recenzích píše že je draho. Velké Latte za £2.5 se mi zdá fajn.

If you time it wrong you could be queuing up for a long time

We enjoyed our visit. Cooked breakfast served until 12noon was excellent, available as 5 item or 10 item portions with which you can specify exactly what you want. There was a wait to order as we arrived when it was starting to get very busy. Not very long to wait after ordering though so that was good. Shop sizes are small and limited but I'd suggest this venue is more for a day out in the fresh air, with some options for cafe, ice-cream or brewery to choose from.

Been to cafe, had excellent veg chilli and baked potato. Really good value. The husband had pie and chips. The chips were lovely. The park is amazing and the train is fab value. My children love going there.

Good place to have lunch when walking around Haigh Hall. Cost OK. Occasional queue. Kids always enjoy the chips!

The small granary cafe is wonderful and I would highly recommend them. Friendly, polite staff serving tasty produce. The large cafe terrible - happy to let customers wait outside when their opening times clearly state they should be serving customers!

Quaint and small with a selection of places to eat and drink with outdoor seating. Recently refurbished and well worth a visit.

As glad this place is being pur to good use, we have always loved a family walk around haigh hall, now with the court yard shops, cafes and artisan markets, awesome love it.

Fab little hidden gem. There's a few little great places in haigh hall. You should go. It's Brill.

Superb elevated location..outside seating in a cobbled courtyard .. Very interesting craft shops ..cafeteria, micro brewery and safe for children

Lovely park...will be great when all work has been completed. Fantastic children's playground....nice cafe.. .clean loos....crazy golf there are 2 we went to the one nr golf course £16 for 4 but the one nr the playground and jungle climb part was only £1 each

Brilliant place to visit, loads for children to do and a visit to the kitchen courtyard is well worth a visit, where you can buy Haigh woodland pork, sausages and bacon as well as beautiful organic Vedge.
