Hagglers Corner in Sheffield

A really lovely cosy space with a bar, cafe, pop up food spaces and great music! Only visiting Sheffield for the weekend but we went twice, and would definitely come back. Great vibes! Currently listening to songs that were playing on Sunday on the train back. Just bringing a bit of Hagglers back to the Lakes with me! Thanks to Mexican Mare and Tapas by Dani for providing delicious food!

Awful bouncers. Second time they’ve been awful. Definitely would not recommend.

Such a lovely space! Perfect for a coffee on a sunny day. I take my laptop and work from here a lot and the staff are always lovely, welcoming, and make a fabulous coffee. Highly recommend a visit!

We had our wedding reception here and it was great. Really helpful staff and a lovely welcoming space. Chilled venue with good vibes!

I wouldn't recommend trying to book the venue room here. They tell you to email them but rarely monitor their emails, they don't answer the phone and they weren't in during their open times. This made it impossible to get in touch with them and to actually book anything. Their communication is terrible and to the point I wouldn't feel comfortable paying for the room now as I imagine you wouldn't be able to get in touch with them for any reason.

I hired Hagglers for my wife’s surprise 60th birthday in our home city of Sheffield. It was all done by e mail as I live 80 miles away, Amy was very good at responding and the venue was excellent, several of our guests commented as such. Only one drama when the staff at the attached cafe who I was hoping to provide the buffet left and I had to arrange outside caterers within a few weeks, but Amy was outstanding and understanding. Great venue😁 Thank you to all the staff in making my wife’s birthday a success.

We hired the event space for our engagement party for around 80 people. We loved the look of the place, the brick interior and contemporary vibes was very us and meant that we didn’t really need any decorations. The bookings process was smooth from the start, super responsive, easy to organise and checked in with us closer to the date to make sure everything was in place. I visited the space a few days before, without contacting them, and they still made time to show me around. We chose to have the party on a Saturday afternoon as it was much cheaper and we love a day-do. I would advise getting there earlier than your event to set up and the staff will be on hand to assist. They had extra tables and were so helpful with it all, the bar team especially were lovely. They were short staffed on the day so had to close the bar upstairs but service was super quick downstairs and we were offered a bottle for any inconvenience. All of the guests commented on how great the venue was and most sat outside as it was open, pretty much sheltered from any rain and there was plenty of seating. The only issue was the accessibility as we had a few older guests who found the stairs difficult. Apart from this it’s a great venue choice and we’d happily book again!

We hired the room upstairs for a party of about 55 people. The space was brilliant, and Amy, Molly and the rest of the staff were so helpful from planning the night to working the bar during the evening. The room was already beautifully decorated and we brought some extra decorations. The sound set up for DJing was great and it was really nice to have use of the mezzanine outdoors as well as the main room. A great venue for a party - thank you!

I was recommended this place by the bartender Ryan. Having never heard of it I didn’t know what to think but the quiz night we attended was one of the best quiz nights we have done. Amazing venue highly recommend. Fantastic customer service from all. The manager Molly was very warm and welcoming, and the bartenders Tom and Joe were very professional and knew what they were doing. 10 stars if possible.

Just been to a gig here last night and wow had the best time.the atmosphere was amazing, everyone is friendly and it felt like a really special place to visit in Sheffield. The drinks were reasonable too and the cocktail menu looked fab!

This place has really gone downhill. As a woman I do not feel comfortable here, I think that says it all.

Absolutely fantastic venue, we hired upstairs for a party, really relaxed, great communication and kept checking in with us that everything was ok- would not hesitate to recommend!

Enjoyed the live music but you need your thermals on as the centre court yard is outdoors and I found it a bit chilly. Home made pizzas available from their pizza ovens. I didn't try but they looked delicious. Nice bar but on the pricy side. Lovely feel to the place with lighting and fairy lights. Parking isn't easy but there is some availability on side roads. I'd definitely recommend a visit.

been coming here for the past ten years or so, yesterday i got turned away for trying to come into the bar for wearing adidas shorts. there were literally people i could see inside the bar that were also wearing adidas/nike/other branded sports shorts but for some reason the bouncers wouldnt let me in? literally had to go home and change and was let in immediately but the whole situation was just pathetic, especially considering literally so many other people were not adhereing to this inconsistent "dress code". since when has there been a dress code for a place like this. its literally july and a warm summers day. will avoid coming back if i can if the clowns running the place want to ruin it and make it into that sort of place. its sheffield not manchester or london, have a word with yourselves.

We hired the venue space for surprise 50th Birthday Party, really easy booking process. Feedback from our vocalist and DJ was that set up arrangements were excellent. We had around 50 people but space easily accomodates more, but wasn't too large that 50 looked as though venue was empty. Staff really good.

£3 entrance for a non city centre bar is insane. Friday night and there were about 10 people inside and had to pay for entry. How many people are walking away because of this? Seems like bad business.. felt ripped off, then had to pay £6 for a pint 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

Great Music and Food and Atmosphere

We had a an amazing time for a party we held there for my mums 50th perfect venue with amazing staff that couldn’t have helped us anymore or been more kind and attending

Had a friends birthday party here and the space was awesome with access to covered balcony. The staff were great and very accommodating and would definitely look to book another event here

First time I've organised a party here and I organise many. From the first contact the venue have been brilliant they could not do enough. The booking process and communication was simple and straightforward. We were allowed to go in earlier than usual to decorate, the room was spotless and all ready for us. The staff were fantastic, the bar staff were attentive and good spirited, special mention to Ruth the bar manager, she looked after us all night. The security staff were also wonderful. Honestly, it was the party of the decade and this was all enhanced by the fabulous surroundings and the staff. This is definitely our number one favourite and the coolest bar and party venue in town. Seriously, guys, thank you so very much. Go Team Hagglers 👏 💙

Cool & vibrant place set over 2 floors. Downstairs has an open courtyard with benches ‘beerkeller’ style. Also downstairs is a vintage clothes shop. Bats on both floors with the upstairs bar also hosting a small dance area. Friendly staff and good beer selection.

We recently hired the function area for a memorial gathering following my sons death. It was perfect for our needs. The space is wonderful and included access to outdoor area. We were able to bring our own decorations and music which made it really personal to us. The staff at Hagglers were so friendly and accommodating, nothing too much trouble. We will definitely hire again later this year for birthday celebrations. Thank you to all at Hagglers corner xx

Dropped in whilst having the car cleaned over the road. My vegetarian breakfast burrito was flavourful and filling.

We had a wonderful afternoon/evening session when we hired Taak for a 40th birthday. It was the perfect setting for us. Such a cool, unique space with an awesome atmosphere. The staff couldn't have been more helpful on the day and were super organised and informative when we made the booking. The food from Corner Jammers was delicious and came out hot! You all made our day go with a bang. Thank you!

We booked Hagglers’ event space for the afternoon for a Hen Party. The venue is simply wonderful, we even had our own outdoor area. Isy was fantastic when booking and dealing with my many queries. Thank you for all of your help setting up too, Isy! Sarah did above and beyond to look after us. We booked the event space and had never expected Sarah to move tables and benches, clear up crockery and pack it up ready for our caterer to collect. I cannot thank you enough, Sarah. The ladies had a wonderful afternoon, we started with outside catering for Afternoon Tea and then a Charleston Dance Lesson - the space was simply perfect. Thanks Hagglers, if I ever need an event space again, you’ll be my first phone call!

I went to Hagglers corner for a private function, there's no car park, you have to use one over the road, it's not good for parking, but the place & the food were good

Love this place, lots of variety and lovely and cool on a hot day.

We hired The Bhaji Shop to cater for our wedding in April 2022. They provided an evening buffet of a mixture of bhajis, samosas and salads. The food was amazing and our guests loved it, there was none leftover! They catered for a variety of dietary requirements including vegan and gluten free. The food was fresh, tasty and of excellent quality and value. They were great at communicating with us ahead of the day as well, even sending a text on the morning of the wedding day confirming the plans for the evening buffet. Highly recommend them.

Really different place to have lunch. The food is not over priced and is good. The staff are very polite. If you are looking for something out of the ordinary you need to visit.

First of all, this is a fabulous venue for a chilled, relaxed visit. The staff go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and to look after you. And the food is wonderful. Can’t praise it highly enough and looking forward to going back next time we are in Sheffield.

We hired out the upstairs mezzanine level and bar for our dads wake. Despite being a typical February day the staff managed to make the space warm and inviting. Food from the Bhaji Cafe was wonderful and plentiful. The outdoor mezzanine space was perfect to accommodate people who prefered to be outdoors. We have had lots of people comment on how wonderful the space was and it was a great send off.

This place is fantastic great open space to eat or have a drink totally deceiving from the outside the food is excellent and won’t break the bank you have to give it a try

Came in spontaneously for my birthday last week and it was a really great bar and food. The bar lady with long dark hair was very attentive and knowledgable and really made the whole evening so special for us. Will definitely be back

Truly wonderful Indian food served in a super cool and relaxed location by really nice, happy smiley people - Charlotte is a ray of sunshine. Give it a try, you won’t be disappointed. 👌👌

The place looks beautiful and the staff are lovely. But . We had to wait 20 minutes from sitting down to getting a drink. The people next to us were still waiting for a drink 30 mins after being lead to thier table! Nowhere near acceptable. We won't be back.

What a fantastic night last night. Awesome and tasty food, amazing cocktails, great live music and FANTASTIC staff. My hangover is still raging on now! See you soon!

Very happy place and purchased a guitar from guitar shop. Rosz and Tom were very professional and helpful

4 stars for the complete experience. Drinks service was very slow Staff were however delightful We all really enjoyed our meals, the fish plates were said to need a sauce but I had the meat plate which I thoroughly enjoyed, so passing comment for the fish incase others have said the same. Anyhow, i loved my visit & the live music & shall return soon. Thank you 👍

This place is absolutely brilliant, the place has been around for years. One of the best places to visit.

Nice friendly staff and the breakfast was amazing, I had poached eggs on toast with vine tomatoes and it was excellent.

Been here a few times at different times of day. Never fails to please. Went again last Saturday night, it was buzzing!! Fantastic atmosphere, a great selection of lager and beers from Peroni to Asahi, and amazing food from The Bhaji Shop. Our hostess was great and even came to say goodbye when she was going off shift bless her. Book a table in advance to avoid disappointment. It's just an excellent place!!! You'll love it ❤️

They have done a cracking job adapting with the circumstances. The venue looks a great and had a wonderful evening.

Hagglers corner is a gorgeous setting, with good music, good people and a really cool atmosphere, but contrary to the name, you can't haggle for drinks at all. An unchecked lottery ticket was apparently insufficient tender :(

Shockingly slow service. Also the lady behind the cafe bar decided to serve the person after me first as they were "friends". Avoid like the plague unless you have 2 hours to wait.

In common with everywhere else with these woeful event nights eg quiz, comedy... which has these things, the Hagglers' comedy night had the BOOMING SHOUT LAUGHER at the back of a small mezzanine. Yes everyone benefitted from being deafened. For me a quiet sort of person, I didn't bother to finish my unfortunately rather sickly sweet :-( blueberry gin £9 !!! cocktail, I just left.

My sister in law had her wedding here on Sat and i can honestly say it was the most amazing evening ever!. Iv been to Hagglers a few times with my sis in law when had brilliant stuff going on but they went above and beyond on sat it was amazing!. Amazing venue amazing staff so accomodating for us all just brilliant!!! Hope to see u soon hagglers! Would give u 6 stars if i could! Xxx
