Gusto Italian in Stockport

Very poor customer service from the Manager, me and my little boy was turned Away from the restaurant all we wanted was a cup of coffee and a dessert and was told there was no room but the Restaurant was half Empty. I will never return to this restaurant again,

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I had the pleasure of dining at Gusto Italian in Cheadle on Sunday, 2nd March at 5 PM, and the experience was nothing short of outstanding. From the moment we arrived, Sean Young made us feel incredibly welcome. He is an articulate, charming, and well-spoken gentleman, clearly highly educated in hospitality and service. Sean’s knowledge and professionalism shone through, ensuring every aspect of our visit was seamless. His service was genuine, attentive, and exceptionally helpful, making the evening even more enjoyable. The food was absolutely gorgeous – full of flavor, beautifully presented, and incredibly tasty. Everything was cooked to perfection, further elevating the experience. A truly five-star visit, thanks to both the delicious cuisine and Sean’s impeccable service. I highly recommend Gusto Italian in Cheadle and will certainly be returning soon!

Brilliant meal this afternoon and once again asked if we could be put in Sean’s section. Sean is polite and quick on the banter and due to being blind, Sean always makes sure that I know where my cutlery and drinks are etc without being obvious and therefore not making me feel self conscious. Love love love this restaurant for so many reasons! Delicious food, excellent service, friendly staff, great ambiance, high-quality ingredients, knowledgeable waitstaff, consistent quality, and the overall dining experience, "Our waiter Sean, was very knowledgeable about the food menu and more importantly the wine list and gave a fantastic recommendation. Thanks to him we signed up for the huge savings Gusto platinum card. Now we can’t stay away with friends, family and entertaining clients. Highly recommend. Great food place and lovely staff, the guy serving us called Sean was so helpful throughout and quick service. Was a little cold jn the restaurant but might of been as only few tables were in and was evening time on a Sunday but the food was veey tasty and would go back again

Gusto has always been our go to Italian even in didsbury until a bad experience at didsbury put us off. We returned with faith to the cheadle one and it was full of flavour and amazing customer service, popped in yesterday. The food seemed to be the same again Very oily heavy sour tasting pasta lumped sauce at the bottom And overly salty soggy bruschetta It's like every time you go its a hit and miss we did eat the food but felt sick Once again I can't understand why the food can't be the same and live up to expectations. The staff is amazing and the atmosphere is perfect but the food is a let down as it can't seen to stay the same quality

Our party of seven was very well looked after particularly by Francesca who was very attentive and helpful.She made a great effort to make sure we had a wonderful evening.

The mushroom risotto with added chicken was the best I’ve ever had, delicious! All meals enjoyed by our family of four. Great service too.

As long as your expectations are set, this is a great place and relatively kid friendly. The staff are all very welcoming and the ambiance of the place is great. The food was somewhat disappointing though. While it was presented well and came quick, it lacked any real flavour or complexity and was more like a high end ready meal than the price would have you think. Overall though, a solid 65%.

January 50% off not compromised with quality or service! Food was excellent you would think with 50% off the menu they would be smaller…No! Steak/tuna cooked to perfection. It was so good I booked 2 more reservations…staff were all welcoming and very efficient as it was very busy! Francesca had an infectious laugh ! Waiter gave excellent choice of an Italian wine. Well done Gusto Cheadle Hulme ! Not familiar with the area I found a car park on Mellor road £1 for 4hours! And a fantastic green grocers “ Waterhouse” along the way worth a visit!

I visited for the 50 % discount evening food was great with great service however the restaurant was very lound we could hardly hear ourselves. Although we had a good evening I felt the service charge was far to high and charity donation added without actually speaking to us about it first was all too much the service charge was more than 10 percent. Sorry will not be going again

We came for my 40th birthday family meal. I had the filet steak which was cooked perfectly, followed by tiramisu. Sean was a wonderful host

Oh my goodness! What a meal! Myself and my family (of 3) came in yesterday and had the fillet steak! I was told that it was good, but I didn’t believe it could be quite THIS good!!! Incredible! The atmosphere was great, the food was great but what really topped it off was the service! We had a very lovely, polite young lady called Naomi serving us and her customer service is second to none! She was very attentive, always happy to help and very quick answering questions for us and amazing at interacting with my son! Thank you Naomi for making our visit a memorable one!! Well done!

We came to gusto for our works Christmas meal in December. The food was incredible as always but the service we received from Francesca was absolutely outstanding. She was so attentive, friendly and went above and beyond to ensure we had the best night ever. She was knowledgeable about the food and drinks and knew exactly when to appear for topping up. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend gusto for a Christmas meal and we’ll definitely be back next year!!! Thank you so much!!

Friday evening at 7 30.When we started to look at the menu we were told that Cod veal and tuna were off the menu. Three mains missing. Also no scallops.We were told this was because of the sale! They know there is a sale and this runs through out January so surely more food needs ordering. Also chicken main was out of broccoli as they had none. Calamari started was big pieces of rubber. Didn't appreciate the lights being dimmed at 9 and then kitchen switched off so room was quite dark. Spoilt the ambience. Our server Sean was attentive and it was clearly not his fault.

Francescas was brilliant, attended to our every need, super helpful, super positive and super brilliant. Had my disabled father and mother who don’t get out much with me for for my birthday with my adults kids. Will be visiting again!

Me and my husband love coming to Gusto Cheadle Hulme for a date night. The service from Francesca was fantastic, she was so friendly and attentive. Muzi who was working the bar made us the best cocktails as well! He made the biscoff martini vegan friendly for us and it was truly amazing! We had such a lovely time. Thanks guys!
