Had a table booked for lunch to meet up with family whilst staying nearby. Felt like we were being rushed for our orders even though there was hardly anybody in. When we ordered, it didn't take long before there was a smokey atmosphere coming from the kitchen which started to irritate everybodys eyes. Food was nothing spectacular. Asked for soup and sandwich but got soup and toastie. Strange decor, almost childlike African theme? We all came out smelling of fried food. Not good.

Been here a few times and each time I am greeted with friendly service and great tasting, affordable food. I have been here for both breakfast and lunch and I love the variety of food on offer. Definetly a place I would recommend for breakfast or lunch to anyone in the area!

In with a chum, we both had the hanging chicken kebab with chips. Delicious. Food always good here and this was no exception. Highly recommend this cafe- interesting menu and huge portions .

Beautiful authentic home cooked food with modest humble price. A hidden gem . Rustic and quirky feel and warm welcome . Nothing too much trouble . Why have I not known about this place ? 10 minutes out the road . Will most definitely be back .

Fantastic cafe with a lovely ambience, wonderful food and absolutely fabulous service. We've had lunch here previously (June 2023) and came from breakfast this morning and were really impressed both times.

I popped in for lunch today. The atmosphere was very welcoming as soon as we entered. We were directed to our seats by very friendly staff. Once seated we were told the specials and menus. I am vegan and asked for a vegan salad which was not on the menu but this was not a problem for the staff. I received my salad and it was fantastic. It tasted very fresh and crispy. The dressing was amazing. My mother had a tuna melt and she loved her meal. The prices are very reasonable. The setting its self has a fantastic eclectic feel to it and if I didn't know better it could have been mistaken for being on holiday, it has that lovely quality to it. I will definitely be back.

Wow! I came here on Friday lunchtime for my first visit. Very impressed with the quality of food. I tried their 'loaded hot dog' and it was delicious. I also tried some of their 'beef stew' and it was 10/10. I would recommend keeping an eye on their Facebook page as it tells you what specials they have on each day. The hot dog was £4 which was good value. The service was faultless. There is plenty of free parking outside. I will look forward to coming back here again soon.

Would not recommend, poor service, still waiting for food, ordered over 2 and a half hours ago. Very disappointed and very hungry. Unfortunately no option for 0 stars.
