Perfect decaf cortado thank you… not many baristas can make it properly

I don’t write reviews often, but felt I needed to share. I am coeliac and struggle with coffee bars such as Nero or Costa for any food (that isn’t a dry biscuit). I thought this coffee bar (in Derry) would be the same, however the staff informed me that they could make me any sandwich or toastie as they had gluten free bread. I went for a toastie. Usually I’m a bit apprehensive on toasties as most gluten free toasties fall apart due to the bread and can be quite dry. This was one of the best toasties I have had. It was delicious and I will definitely be back here again! Coffee was 10/10 also. Thank you.

Place has really gone downhill over the last couple of months. Always very dirty and speed of service has dropped drastically (waited near 20 minutes for a coffee and sausage roll). Standard of coffee also not good anymore and levels of customer service have dropped noticeably, staff not very friendly.

Not the cheapest place for coffee and food. But very high quality.

Would like more sandwiches without cheese. I always have to ask for cheese to be removed, a request that is always done by staff.

I have called in a few times lately to Ground and first of all I have to mention the two guys Joshua and Alex who where serving behind the counter with being in retail myself these guys went far and beyond customer service , polite , helpful and such a lovely way with customers , assurance these guys have every expectation of success and caring approach was visible , the tables were cleaned as soon as customers left and safety was at the forefront My food was very nice and great variety I shall be in L’derry frequently and shall make this my call on my onward journey Keep up the good work and guys you deserve a pat on the back !!

Although this is the Londonderry branch, my review applies to Ground Espresso Bars overall. To be honest they need to stop! They have grown themselves far too fast. My main complaint is that they do not know how to make a cappuccino - in any branch I have been in. It should have more milk foam than milk otherwise it is a glorified latte. I complain every time. The last time I complained in store, the staff member agreed with me but said that's how head office trains us. I was rather shocked. I complained to head office by email, to then get an automated response stating the current COVID situation means no staff are in offices. I don't agree with this either - I this is a cop out. They can't do this indefinitely. Otherwise this is bad management - and not fair for staff on the ground floor (no pun intended!) Surely someone can work from home. How does the branch management contact senior management? It is a shame that their coffee is disastrous. Their salted caramel brownies are delicious. Thank goodness I can get these to take home.

Taken by a friend for a coffee and catch up, lovely wee place caramel squares are yummy, but my cappuccino could've been hotter, but was still palatable

Good coffee shop that also serves hot food and cakes. Based on top floor of Next. Presently doing takeaway because of latest covid restrictions, but still good quality. Handy place to get food and coffee, if your waiting for someone with an appointment at Altnagelvin. Plenty of free parking.

Nice place and lovely staff .Unfortunately the carrot cake I purchased was stale and my husbands pastel de nata also was not fresh. Disappointed.

Fantastic food and friendly staff

Pricing of food items is not displayed leading to lunch being very expensive. When issue re pricing up of food item was raised response was totally inadequate and included a "shoulder shrug" not good. Would be no stars if that was possible.

Great little cafe tucked away in a corner of Next stores Lisnagelvin in the Waterside area of Derry. Pleasant staff and a good selection of food, teas and coffees. Take ten minutes out of your shopping nearby and relax

Dont have anything to eat with no cheese on it! Always over fill tea pot, and banana was past it
