There were 2 people there when we arrived at 1.45pm on a Sunday and yet there was unnecessarily loud music playing through the speakers (the bar lady could not hear me initially). The manager’s two young daughters were sitting in the bar playing games on an iphone with the sound audible above the music even though we sat in the next room (restaurant), The bitter was not on and the Guinness was very average. We intended to eat but left. Shame, as it is very local to us.

Had absolute stormer of an evening, only now fully recovered - big thanks to Simon G, Johnny and their team, great service, atmosphere, food, best evening of 2021. THANK YOU!

We visited the 'Grosvenor Arms' on Garratt Lane last evening and really enjoyed the atmosphere. The refurbishment of the pub has been done classily and lots of the furniture is beautifully hand made that adds to the character. The staff, without exception were friendly, fun and welcoming trying really hard to please and succeeding. The drinks were well priced and we will most certainly visit again. We didn't venture into the garden but have heard how attractive and popular it is, so will try it on our next visit.

Well situated on Garret Lane, this pub has been brilliantly restored both inside and in the garden. Plenty of space and a lovely warm welcome. It even has a large function room upstairs, what a place to watch the big rugby matches etc or for a private party. Food was really good, sensibly not a large menu but the selection and quality of the food was first class. Beer and wine good and so easy to get to. Everything about the place reflected quality and we will be returning very soon indeed.

A great afternoon with friends. Such a fantastic addition to the area. Will be my new go-to I think. Wide selection of beers and addictive atmosphere.

Great drink, food, sport and a social environment. Serve pizzas and a wide variety of beers and drinks. An outdoor area. Play sport on a big screen. Great place for a social drink.
