After being stranded in Bletchley when our train to Euston was cancelled we made our way to the bus station to seek an alternative means of transport. As there was an hour's wait we decided we needed a coffee and as Green City was right there and open on a Sunday we went in and were very pleasently surprised. The decor was lovey and very clean. The gentleman serving was friendly, helpful, and understanding of our situation. Our coffee and very delicious chocolate fudge cake (much needed to combat the stress of the situation) was brought promptly and he even allowed us to charge our phones which was fantastic as we envisioned being stuck with no access to them as both of our batteries were low. Thank you to Green City for being an oasis of calm in a chaotic day!

Milton Keynes Christian Centre Strudwick Drive Oldbrook
This is a great place to pop in for a coffee and/or meet friends or colleagues for lunch. There is a good selection of drinks and brunch or lunch options and a great selection of cakes if you want to be a bit naughty! There is loads of space, ample free parking, free wi fi, and the lady serving on the couple of occasions I have visited so far is absolutely lovely she really makes you feel welcome and nothing is too much trouble. Prices very reasonable as well - what's not to like? Only a couple of minutes from city centre, I thoroughly recommend you give this lovely cafe a try.

Fitness First Unit B Stadium WayVisited this hidden gem while our Grandson was having swimming lessons. What a find, being inside a large gym it was extremely unlikely that I’d ever stumble across it. I’m glad I know it’s here now. The cheesecake was to die for as was the Victoria sponge that my wife had. All homemade on the premises by the very friendly guy who looked after us. I suppose if you really thought it necessary you could go and work it all off in the gym. I preferred to sit comfortably in the lovely spacious cafe though and let it all settle gently. I’m definitely going to come back and try the breakfast!

500 Elder gate Central Milton Keynes train stationAlways come here on a Saturday, before or after the kids’ football match. Great brunch options and really nice staff. Remember what we like.

19 McCorquodale Road WolvertonAs I have a tendency to put a whole fry up in a sarnie my Wife reached out to these guys to get me a surprise breakfast for my Birthday. They however don’t open on Tuesdays but they kindly opened for us and did an amazing monster wrap! Super tasty, stayed hot despite being quite far away from the restaurant. Thank you so much
