By far the best takeaway locally, great freshly cooked food, piping hot and big portions! Beef Chow Mein is particularly good with loads of beef and veggies

Disgraceful place gave us the wrong food and wouldn’t correct it unless we paid again we also had chicken that was not fresh absolutely do not recommend this place

Overall very pleased with our experience at this Chinese. On our holiday so didn’t have any knowledge of takeaways in the area, we looked at the reviews of all the local takeaways and seemed none were outstanding so took pot luck. We ordered several dishes, all were plentiful, cooked well, tasted great and were above our expectations, the only negative I’d say was the chips which seemed a little old/sad but perfectly ok and not a problem for me. I’d definitely return for another Chinese meal here without hesitation if we were in the area again and certainly recommend it to anyone visiting. 9 out of 10 for us, losing a mark for the chips.

The food is nice but they can never get an order right, be prepared to be disappointed when you get home to find you’ve not got what you asked for.

I have been to Great Wall several over the last few months and each time, the food has been excellent. Large portions, usually enough left over for lunch next day. Prices seem a bit on the high side but aren’t because they include rice or chips. The chips are really nice, not greasy at all and not out of a freezer. Friday and Saturday can get busy so best to phone your order in advance and agree a time to collect. My favourite is crispy chicken in chill sauce - you can certainly taste the chilli.

Been using this Chinese regularly for years now, so glad it’s our local, decent prices massive portions and they rarely get the order wrong, foods absolutely beautiful but I’d advise you order early, they get really busy quick which is no surprise

We have had numerous delicious takeaway meals from here. I highly recommend. The food is always fresh and hot, and the service is excellent.

I come here for a little treat every now and then and every time I have been the food has been 100% top class. I usually tend to order the Salt and Pepper Chicken with a different dish every time but I can't fault the food here, the I've had other takeaways in the area and they all have the same problems... missing items, rude customer service, over charged, burnt food, wrong sauces, etc. But you will NOT experience that here !!! Great Wall is brilliant, keep it up !!!

Had a takeaway, was expecting better after reviews, OK ish but won't be back. Food was sloppy and bland.

The worst Chinese We have had in ages!! Everything smelled and tasted of fish and almost broke a tooth on the chips

Use this takeaway, great Wall every season when we stay in the caravan down the road, very generous proportions done to order friendly staff

Arrived in Abergele for our holiday and was looking for a takeaway came across the Great Chinese the food was hot and we got plenty to eat and was very tasty this takeaway is a must if your visiting this area

Called last Saturday while in the area for fish & chips and sausage & chips, fish cooked fresh and was very nice. Good portions too. Standard sausage seems to be a jumbo which we had no problem with. Seems quite popular as while we were waiting for about 10mins the place had people constantly coming and going. Plenty of phone orders coming through too. Wouldn’t hesitate to call again when next in the area

Came in at 8pm on a Bank holiday Monday ordered sausage and chips as a quick tea after a 12hr shift she reheated the sausage (which I get happens sometimes) but she over cooked the chips. They were old and brown. She pretended she couldn’t understand me then finally told me it would be 10 minutes for fresh ones. In the end I took the chips and told her I won’t be returning and she said ok..!! Won’t be returning again.

Ordered the takeaway at 4.15, collected @ 4.30, freshly cooked chips just out of the fryer, friendly and efficient service, chicken chow mein was delicious, king prawns were tasty and huge🍤 Cannot fault this Chinese at all, a 'cracker' in the town centre!

I've been here on numerous occasions for takeaway and have always been disappointed. Couldn't fault the service but the chow mien was watery and soupy, the curry was bland and the chips were very, very, very salty.

Llamado para un rápido para llevar el sábado por la noche. Este lugar es una víctima de su propio éxito! Tuvimos que esperar unos 30 minutos para dos comidas. Sin embargo, fue sin duda vale la pena la espera. La comida estaba bien caliente, deliciosa y abundante. Si estamos en el área de nuevo sin llamar de nuevo, sólo que esta vez sin teléfono la orden.

The food was lovely, not much was left and only because the portions were a decent size. Would recommend to anyone staying in nearby accommodation.

Era el camping por la carretera y nuestra primera noche decidió llevar, a mí y a mi hijo y mi marido eligió China el pescado y patatas fritas. La comida estaba bien caliente y mi marido para pedir pescado, así que sé que no han de estar alrededor, muy buena durante todo el llevar

We tend to use this takeaway as its local to us. Friendly quick service and always been very happy with the food.

We used the place twice as it was the nearest take away . The food was fine if your staying down this way it fine.

Has to be the most tasteless Chinese I've ever had. Wish i hadn't of bothered. Ordered Singapore vermicelli thinking you can't go wrong, how wrong I was. Wouldn't order from here again

Muy mal servicio al cliente por teléfono. Igualmente pobres en la tienda. Mucho tiempo de espera como ocupados - que no es una mala señal a veces supongo! Las comidas todo bueno - me sorprendió gratamente. Volvería otra vez.

Increíble sal y pimienta patatas fritas, nunca había probado antes e incluso volvimos al día siguiente de que bueno!!

Food is pretty good and the price is brilliant, the portions are large so unless you eat loads I would suggest you share.

We had a takeaway from the Great Wall when staying near Abergele on holiday. The assortment of dishes we tried were all very tasty and reasonably priced compared to prices at home (Yorkshire).The staff were friendly and efficient which is always a good start. I can highly recommend the lemon chicken which, for a change, was more chicken than lemon and the sauce was just right - not too sweet or sour. I would definitely recommend this and actually took a new menu back to the holiday cottage we rented .

we have been to the great wall about 8 times now,and each time is just as good as the last! you are always made welcome when you ring up or walk in and order.the food is always cooked fresh and the portions are generous,especially,the chips! the staff are all clean and tidy,as are the premises . in all a well run business.

Come here often all ways quick, friendly service. Good food but could do with few extras like 'chicken cashew in birds nests'.
