Always championed this chinese the best in rhos but sadly things are sliding the chilli beef was always the best but the recipe has changed not for the best please change it back

Tried for the first time last night. Cash only. Not a problem. Cash point down the road. Amazing meal. Sui Mai and beef curry for me and spare ribs and special bean sprouts for husband. Piping hot and absolutely beautiful. I would totally recommend. Will be going again. The beef curry was totally awesome.

Just excellent - good quality, tasty and good value food. This is my favourite take away in Rhos. All main dishes come with rice or chips which also keeps the costs down

Awful food. Four meals, all supposedly different, but all made with the same base slop so they all tasted very similar - slop. Truly one of the worst and most tasteless Chinese take outs we've ever had.

A nice chippy not a great one but food is edible

Called in for a chicken fried rice - a basic dish for any Chinese takeaway. On returning home with my dish it was clear that in their rush to prepare the food insufficient time had been given to quality control. The chicken was clearly nowhere near cooked through having only reached what I would call the ‘jelly’ stage. I was therefore forced to break out my own wok and cook the dish thoroughly before consuming. Basically I was sold a chicken fried rice ‘kit’ As a local I’m disappointed not to be able to recommend this establishment.

Ordered a takeaway after locals recommending it. The kids wanted Chinese, and the whole family loved it, one of the best we've had in a while.

Not the best, only cash, we all know why that is, chips bloody horrible, main meal passable, but didn't even resemble what it was meant to be, no wouldn't go there again I'm afraid

We were on a little break and ended going a couple of times the food was lovely...we only wish it was nearer to where we live x

If this was a sit in restaurant all the main dishes would have been sent back. I’m sure they would have refused to replace any of them though. Why? Because all three main dishes used the same awful weird gravy thing they clearly slop on all their dishes. So nothing would have been any different. Chow main is supposed to have some texture and is made with egg noddles, not vermicelli. Slimy chicken. The prawns tastes the same as the chicken, just a slightly different texture. Wonton starter was border line burnt. These people clearly have no idea what they are serving or simply do not care. Utterly dire. Use Ken’s kitchen in Old Colwyn or Yeung Sing in Penrhyn Bay.

We visit Colwyn bay a lot as a family travelling from Wirral. We were looking for a nice Chinese takeaway and Fortune House didn’t disappoint!! The best Chinese takeaway I have tasted for many years now. Hard to find a nice place. Service with a smile, the two ladies are so very lovely and even brought our food out to the car 💕 will definitely be returning each time we visit! Value for money for the best tasting Chinese!!

tried fortune house chinese a few times now, some of the food is ok then let down by something as stupid as soft prawn crackers which then takes the enjoyment out of the rest of your meal .!!!

The food was very good. However the friendly considerate staff did make up for it in their kindness towards their customers. Fortune House is a very good takeaway. And because I am a local, I regularly go to Fortune House for my evening meals for my family.

Having used for few years loved the food , was very upset tonight after receiving fried rice instead of chips ... and after calling them as we live out of the way , I was told rudely it was our fault for not checking ... it was my husband who picked it up ( having also had to go get cash out as no card payments ) so never again ... service nil

Ordered crispy chicken spicy chilli salt which come with fried rice for an extra 40p....wanted to upgrade it to a chicken fried rice which is £5.10 usually and take the 40p off making it £4.70 and the crispy chicken price together. Been a loyal customer for many years and think the food is great but that is a disappointment that they can't look after their loyal customers 😡

Have been coming here for years! Love the way they do their food compared to any other Chinese I go to! I love the family too, they’re so lovely! Their Salt and chilli chips are my absolute favourite! My favourite place to go when I just need to indulge in a good takeaway!

Our favourite family Chinese takeaway. We live closer to another Chinese but the extra drive is totally worth it. Super hot tasty meals every time & LOVE the salt & Chilli chips.

Every time I visit family in Rhos on Sea we get take out from here.The food is always consistently tasty and in my opinion excellent value for money. Portions are also very generous. My favourite dishes from here are the aromatic crispy duck (with pancakes) and the salt and pepper beef. My family enjoy the crispy king prawn in batter and sides like wantons always go down a treat!

Cantonese chicken was vile....the chicken was fatty and slimy and the rice smelt funny, all went in the bin, Cantonese spring rolls were again disgusting, satay skewers were just lumps of chicken on a stick, nothing satay about them! Prawn curry was barely edible either, it all smelt vile including the prawn crackers! Avoid avoid avoid go to dragon city instead!!!!

Sunday evening meal from here, happens quite regularly, been eating from here for 8 years now. Place is clean, food is always delicious, hot and good value. Best Chinese takeaway around.

Whilst stopping in Rhos on sea used this Chinese , as first meals were very good used again and the second visit was also good service with good food, well worth a visit

We have been here before and fancied a takaway. The mrs had egg fried rice and king prawn with black bean sauce, i had the spring chicken and chips, plus prawn toast which is the thickest ive seen and really tasty. The prawn crackers given for orders over £12 are light and not greasy. Very quick service and so much choice.

The meal for one here is fantastic, so much food so my husband and I share it. It's delicious, always hot and never greasy! Best take-out in rhos for Chinese

I popped in for a meal in minutes and that's exactly what I received. Fair prices,a good selection speedily delivered and very edible, once it had cooled down a bit!

This was our first visit to the Fortune House. Service was quick, portions good and food very tasty. Recommended.

Fortune House is in my opinion the best take away in Rhos on Sea. The quality and quantity of the food is excellent. The menu has all the usual favourites and they have an updated specials board too. I have ordered food from here several times and all the dishes that I have eaten have been beautiful. Recommended.

100% the best chinese in the area. Love the chicken chow mein, so juicy and full of flavour. Regular customer having tried many others.

there was nothing nice about the £34 order i ordered from here, even the prawn crackers were vile which tells you enough. Iceland frozen chicken & chewy pork(beef)!!

Creo que esa casa de fortuna es una pequeña joya por ofrecer deliciosas comidas chinas. Uno de mis favoritos es el mien la comida de Singapur, hacen bien con esto. El lugar es limpio y ordenado y muy eficiente para servir.

Having lived in the area for 3 years and trying most of the Chinese Take Aways to see which is the best in my opinion, this certainly comes top. The set meal for 1 is enough for 2 and a bargain price and the chef will cater to your individual needs - they'll make me pancake rolls with just bean sprouts so you know it's fresh too. The only fault I have, is when I have curry I like it extra hot for which they charge 50p whereas I've never had to pay any extra anywhere else (and I've lived in a few N Wales towns). Otherwise I highly recommend here.

We use fortune house every time, been using this as our takeaway favourite for years, lovely family, lovely food, always cooked to order and quick, love the curry or black pepper (5) on the door for hygiene perfect

Great food at competitive prices with friendly welcoming staff. It's a real shame they don't deliver as we would use them more and they are open on Sundays!

i had the liver dinner never again it was disgusting the liver was really hard i could not eat iti took it back and had to explain to a child that the food was rubbish because the mother and father cold not understand english dont waste your money never again will i buy from there

Don't bother! - terrible excuse for Chinese food,had the set meal for £8.65 - 2 spare ribs , beef curry and sweet n sour chicken with egg fried rice.huge bag of food came out - first real clue it was going to be big pile of cheap nasty food, got it home had the ribs which were fairly nice accept for the fatty smell coming from the other items, so unwrapped them sweet and sour sauce was the worst excuse ever for a sweet and sour sauce, terrible fatty smell , very runny tasted awful, binned! - next the chicken balls, same smelly greasy fat they must throw everything in and not change the fat very much as smelt fishy, binned!, next the curry, wow was it dark look liked treacle , smelt bad, tasted bad, rubber beef, binned - rice not nice either binned! - Really don't know why I ever bother with takeaways - they are expensive and serve up nasty, cheap food by miserable staff ! - another complete waste of money!

We love Fortune House. It's our Friday treat and the staff are lovely! It would be good if they did home delivery but its worth popping out for :-)I recommend the duck!
