Goodview Chinese in Babergh

This is the worst chinese l have ever eaten. The woman /Owner is so rude .. Never will return and would not recommend to anyone.

We found the food dry with not much flavour. The shredded beef was especially dry and very chewy. The chow mein was just noodles and bean sprouts, none of the additional ingredients such as onions, spring onions that you find in other establishments. We would not return

Dinner are absolutely wonderful and that the food is freshly cooked and delicious. The staff are very friendly at the restaurant and plite and a pleasure to visit

The worst Chinese I have ever had alongside another sudbury Chinese will not use these again , food bland barely warm on arrival and the crab claws in the starter had a very funky ‘gone off’ smell … really disappointed as rarely have a takeaway ….

Omg yesterday,I ordered at 18h00 pm 4 meals from the Chinese restaurant. I was disappointed the king prawn fried rice was tasteless, Boiled rice really???boiled prawn and eggs common I am not diabetic or suffering from something who won’t allowed me to eat spicy or flavours food. Today I still have the king prawn as Jim won’t eat it. I do not have any intolerance Please I paid and deserve to have great service.Rather than that Special fried rice and Singapore Noodles was good.I paid £21 meal of 4

... and possibly in Suffolk! Exceptional quality, great tasting food and reasonable prices. The only things that aren't good are the prawn crackers, but that's a small price to pay for such excellent food.

Much better than i thought it would be..Tasty, good sized portions.. cheaper than others locally.. friendly and delivered perfectly on time (busy Saturday evening) I'll be back for sure

We always use Good View, they deliver to us, and is on time, if not they are very apologetic. We love their chew mein as well the salt and pepper chicken and ribs. We would definitely recommend Good View 😊

Pelotas de pollo en aceite inundado, fideos pegajosos y improvisado banquete de comida, no es el mejor en todo. Me decepcionó un poco y la salsa dulce y amarga fue la cata de vinagre tanto y estaba tan crudos

Along with Youngs this is probably the best Chinese takeaway in Sudbury. I can only give Goodview an average review as the food can be bland and isn't consistent. At times the takeaway is very stodgy and the noddles are stuck hard together as though they have been reheated? Goodview is not an authentic restaurant and the food has been adapted for the western pallet. Having said that the food is always hot and the deliveries are alway on time and it's the best you'll get in Sudbury! If you're after a fantastic Chinese takeaway then try Blossoms in Halstead, they do not deliver but its worth the drive as the food is fresh and as authentic as Chinese takeaways get!

Been using this Chinese for quite some time. However last nights take away was so bland. Not sure what has changed but it was not very enjoyable.

Fantastic food with a friendly service. Due to allergies we do have to be careful what we order but the staff here were so helpful. Delivery time was under an hour which was great. Generous portion size at a good price. I would recommend the Singapore rice noodles ( very flavoursome) which contains pork,chicken and prawns. Great for sharing or good by themselves. Also the kung po chicken. In fact we have tried lots of the dishes on the menu and they were all fab.

Just ordered £28 meal worst chinese ever, First time have ordered from here, opened rice and there was long black hair in it, chilli beef is not even good enough for the dog and she wont eat it horrid, Chow mein was dry and beef over cooked, dont bother with the sweet and sour sauce might as well use water no taste at all. Gutted and will never be going back

Good food, reasonable prices for the quality and quantity you get. Staff always pleased to see and on time they say it will take. Saturday night treat,give it a try !!

Ordered a takeaway on Saturday night, our first takeaway experience from Goodview and most likely our last! Kung Po King Prawn was tasteless and its ingredients far from any other Kung Po I have ever ordered before - and I am a Kung Po connoisseur. Very little sauce and what there was of it was purely vile, very disappointing. The rest of the meals ordered were just average. If this is what Sudbury has to offer than this is such a shame. We are not from Sudbury and feel for people having such limited choice of chinese takeouts.
