Good Taste in Glasgow City

Delivered early, bottle of irn bru was missing. Called the restaurant and it arrived within 5 mins. Meal itself was nice, chips were hard as if they had been reheated.

paid for prawn crackers and got a bag with about 4 in it, spectacular lol

I've given the restaurant service abysmal because I received a half a carton of curry sauce instead of a full one. It was only enough to cover one person food rather than 2!

delivery went up half an hour after we had ordered, disappointed as the Chinese was only down the road did not pick up due to bad weather conditions and waited a long time for poor quality food.

Absoutely horrifc!! driver did not deliver on time as did not even know where he was going and sat outside a random building for a while with our food and did not even phone us to see where we were. The food was freezing. Never order food from here!

Yet again! This place gets the order wrong! Asked for curry sauce instead of sweet n sour and what do we get? BBQ! Called Good Taste to be told I was wrong yet again. No customer service skills what so ever!

Food was terrible. Prawn crackers and chips were stale. Crispy shredded chicken was soggy.

Great tasting food, good portions and they always beat their estimated delivery time. Staff are always nice as well. Good choice for a night in :)

Worst food ever. Ordered a salt and pepper munchy box and the chicken balls were chewy and one was pink inside and put me off. Gonna try elsewhere next time

For being a regular customer i was disappointed lastnight my chicken wasnt cooked properly so i didnt enjoy the meal

Best Chinese by far! I follow slimming world got the chicken oyster broccoli with position of mushrooms boiled rice asked for minimum or no oil and I couldn't taste the oil the chicken was fresh and the veg was a great addition will definitely order again

Received one fried rice instead of two which was ordered. Called good taste and was told they would send the missing fried rice. Arrived over an hour later

By far worst Chinese I've had delivery 45 mins late food cold small portions prawn crackers soggy had to order else where wouldn't even give the dog any.

Delivery was late and app said it had been delivered, called to check and was given several excuses before being told food was out for delivery but never asked my name or address and wasn't given an answer when I queried this.

Over an hour to be delivered and it was not very warm,only had a chicken chow me in and chips..also had a bone in it.

Absolutely distgusting and rude people to deal with.. can't even get a 2 item order correct(chicken fried rice and chips) they delivered the rice and when I foned about the chips I was told to wait 50 mins for them , I asked if they were going to replace the rice because it would be freezing by the time the chips came . N was told a blatant NO , and if I didn't like it to contact just eat . Arseholes

Food is great, delivery time is great but have now been told they won't deliver to me as im too far away, really pathetic service in that respect, advise unless you live close to not bother ordering from them.

Just placed a telephone order with this chinese and was quoted a price. I then went into the shop to get my order and it was missing an item and was quoted a diffent price. This price was wrong i have there menu on paper and on this site i was quoted £24.70 it actually amounts to £19.90, they then proceed to phone to see if i still wanted the order i refused and questioned that they were overcharging and have since put the phone down on me which is rude, even more rude to over charge as well, i would like management to contact me as the team member serving me has appaling customer service as well, as she didnt even recall me phoning my order at first either. More to the point how many times has this chinese over charged customers without there knowledge.

Chicken Chow mien regular noodles delicious. Duck with pineapple had a lot of duck skin and sinew and chicken chow mein crispy noodles had no chicken so was very disappointing we had to share meals in order for meat to be distributed

Food was delivered in impeccable time but think it's been to the detriment of the food as it tasted like reheats. The curry sauce was congealed and the wontons were cold

Ordered a chicken curry as a main and was sent a pork curry. Was very hungry and didn't want to wait for another delivery so tried the pork and didn't like it. Never had a wrong order before though.

Always order from here but last order was wrong. Sent me 2 rice instead of chips and rice as I ordered and the wrong main meal as I ordered. Called good taste and service from person on telephone telling me I was wrong. Lost around 50 quid a month as am never ordering from here again. Customer is always right. Not here your not!

I always buy from good taste and have always enjoyed but I must say on this occasion the food was very bland and tasteless

Curry sauce was not to our taste and thought it was a bit sweet. Chicken texture wasn't quite right giving us the impression that it wasn't fresh chicken but processed. The menu didn't make it clear that you had to order rice, so we had to boil our own rice when the order arrived and we discovered there was no rice.

I ordered a beef curry and received a prawn curry when I phoned to explain that it was the wrong one they said I could have a reduction on my next order or wait 30 minutes for a new one I waited 40 minutes and when I got the curry I had to use the rice I had from the first delivery it was cold and stodgy also the curry was cold and the sauce was thick and stodgy. A bad experience

Very quick service, order arrived 30 mins before time stated, food was warm and good.

Ordered a meal on Saturday. It came 2 hours after the time i was told. It came freezing cold and soggy. I phoned back to be told they were really busy but could give me a credit note. So i phoned back tonight for the same order with BBQ sauce which i get every time i order as i cant eat other sauces. For the woman to argue they dont sell BBQ sauce???? I says you do i get it every time i had it on Saturday & she persisted they dont sell it so i says just send me the sauce i was sent on Saturday. So in order to get my free replacement meal i also had to buy something else & pay for the delivery even though it was their mistake to start with. I ordered honey chicken wings. Everything has came although ive got peppers in my honey wings which are never there? And sweet & sour sauce. Extremely disappointed as i phone this place literally all the time but i wont be buying from them again.

I had asked for bbq sauce that i get all the time but sweet and sour came which i cant eat... also 3 chicken balls short of the amount that usually comes

These guys are great. Have been ordering from them regularly for past 2 years. Never had a complaint about the food, never thought it wasn't up to scratch. Delivery time is always quick, a lot quicker then the estimate on the app. Highly recommended and my family always choose here for a take away treat

Food was poor. Ordered BBQ ribs, got ribs with gravy poured over them. Chips were dried out. Really unexpectedly bad food, most went in the bin.

Portion sizes are not good value for money

Food was excellent, only complaint is that their pancake rolls are not pancake rolls, they are vegetable rolls.

Chicken and noodle were good sadly broth had no flavour to it which ruined the full dish for me

I ordered food, got a text ten minutes later saying it couldn't be processed. I was till charged and phoned for a refund and was told they hadn't had payment but I was still charged? Do not order from here!!

Delivery guy was a complete ignoramous. Apparently didn't answer my door quick enough for his liking. I won't be ordering from here again.

Order came to £20 which included a portion of prawn crackers (so I was expecting those plus the freebie bag since my order was over £13) but the bag which I ordered was missing! Had no faults with restaurant so far until now. Advice to staff; pay attention to what people order! Going to start using my local takeaway from now on which will take out the laziness of ordering through this site plus being shafted with delivery and card fees. Also walking to and from there will do me good.

Good taste is bad taste. Chips were reheated. I said I didn't want onions in my chicken curry.; I got them anyway. Way too much pepper in the Chicken Noodle Soup. Any pepper is too much IMO

again dishes full of oil..dissapointed again.will not order anymore (last 3 times was awfull)

I always order from here and have had no problems lovely food though the delivery price has now went up to £4 which I think is quite crazy compared to other takeaway places further out which still charge £2, a second thing is the munchy box is more like a nibble box and costs £6 my friend got it after I recommended the place and sent me a picture after which I felt embarrassed for suggesting Good Taste in the first place. If you're going to do a munchy box make it bigger or cheaper if it's going to be out of a chip box.

Dreadful service by the person on the other end of the phone! Order was over £50 for family and I phoned 2 hours later to chase it up and have been told they are about to start cooking it!!! I am a regular customer here but never again after this! They have updated just eat to say I had it 45 minutes ago so they can't even keep u updated. My advice if you are hungry or would like food the same day u order then avoid!

I always get same things only place I like that does good salt n chilli chicken pieces. However several times I've not been given full order been things missing but chicken really nice

I made an 30 quid order, the restaurant then proceeded to give me the run about with regards to when I would get my food, all I got was excuse after excuse from "the food is still cooking" to "the delivery drivers car broke down" it's was shocking, best of all the food then arrived in a taxi!!! Poor show Good Taste!

What a nightmare. It started with the delivery arriving 20 minutes late but rhis was tge least od my problems. The sauce was delivered in a tub wrapped in a plastic bag. When I picked it up the bottom feel out the tub and all the boiling sauce went everywhere including over my hand causing 3rd degree burns. I called the shop too complain and was told they were too busy and to contact Just Eat. I told them I was unhappy with them and was going to the hospital. I was told to repackage the food and the driver would collect and give refund in 2 hours. The man never apologised to me and was clear he had no interest in the fact that I had burnt my hand. We had to drive to the shop and give them the repackaged food to get a refund when we were on route to the hospital and again we were not offered an apology and were just rushed out of the shop with our refund. I tried to point out the issue with the tun but they had no interest. I will never order from this shop again and would encourage everyone who reads this review to go back and choose another Chinese takeaway store.

Ordered two separate dishes. One schezuan and one chilli and garlic yet exact same watery sauce with no flavour. Neither tasted like they usually taste.

Food's not bad. Can of Fanta was FROZEN, so exploded and soaked everything. Food was extremely late, and when I phoned I got told there was no information upon the whereabouts of my food.

The only little issue was that one of the happy meals was meant to be "Beef and Mushrooms" and I got Beef and onion curry, other than that the meals were outstanding.

Delivery excellent times, food nice & hot, recommend take away.

Used to much garlic in my order couldn't even eat it because of it. Chicken was disgusting chewy and didn't taste good at all. Wouldn't recommend

One star is a lot for this order. Besides the fact that my order was an hour late (after saying it will arrive at 19:45, they came at 20:40) they didn't even bother bringing everything I ordered.

I usually love your food, but tonight it was not the usual excellent standard, it went to the bin. Sad and hungry.

Food arrived cold and the curry sauce was all over the bag. Was given a delivery time of 21:00 didn't get it until 21:30 well over an hour from my order time. Delivery driver more or less flung the bag at me. Usually get excellent service from here.
