Golden Phoenix in Cardiff

Great Malay-Chinese food! Terimag Kasih for the meal ...the morning glory was one of the best we ever had!!

Managed to get a reservation here for my wife's birthday in mid appril, was really looking foreward to it! Unfortunately my wife was ill so we were unable to go, so luckily i managed to get hold of restaurant and cancelled! Now for the past couple of weeks I have tried to rearrange a time to go but it has been impossible to get through on the phone as the answer service keeps saying the log is full! We would love to be able to comment on the summer palace restaurants but unfortunately can't!!

Esta pequeña joya es un gran hallazgo, entró en un ambiente agradable y se mostró a una mesa de inmediato. Este es un menú tradicional chino con un montón de opciones. Pedimos el Dim sum, carne de cerdo asada dulce con arroz, fideos de carne. Permítanme comenzar diciendo que las porciones no decepcionarán, la comida era tan sabrosa y la carne era abundante. Nunca antes había probado el dim sum y wow fue una apertura de ojos los sabores bailaron alrededor de mi paleta y supe desde ese momento que nunca volvería a ir a otro restaurante chino.

Good food. Been meaning to try for a while. There’s quite a few dishes I wanted to try, so I’ll have to go back! I got the “saliva chicken” because I hadn’t seen it on a menu around here for a while. Delicious! Also opted for the cucumber salad and some plain rice. Salad was nice and fresh and the rice was fluffy and perfectly cooked. Staff were helpful and friendly. Prices are pretty fair in my opinion, too.

The best Chinese around 10/10 service this is still the best Chinese food around I look forward to seeing iris and having a chat she is brilliant for the business and brings many in thank you!
