Food was worst ever had from anywhere. Totally unedible even dog turned nose up at it. Chips at least I think that's what they were meant to be were just fried potato peelings . Poppadoms burnt to a frazzle. Curry well don't know where to start was cold and half carrots not chunks literally half carrot . Chicken slimy . Chicken balls may have been OK if not cold and didn't even dare taste the sauces . Very disappointed as my favourite restaurant to order from not again though . I can't believe they had the gall to send it out and charge me £3.50 to deliver its a joke . I wouldn't order today from there 29/04

Chicken curry was like water. Chips were dreadful. Prawn toast was meh. I've ordered from here many times and it was the poorest meal I've ever had from there.

Haven't ordered for a while and must say the food was piping hot very good with portion sizes and tasted amazing highly recommended

We couldn’t eat most of the food as none of it was cooked properly. All of the chicken was like rubber and everything was drenched in oil. Even the bag the food came in is covered in oil. It’s very disappointing, the service is good but the food isn’t very edible. Unfortunately we have had to put most of it in the bin.

The chips were terrible, over half had black on them, sweat and sour chicken had a strange taste to it.

Fab as always. You won’t be disappointed. Great food , great service.

Would never order from here again unfortunately, food came and delivery was on time and the delivery driver was lovely however the food quality was shocking! Everything went in the bin as everything tasted off even the sauces! The chicken chow mein was burnt honestly very poor quality.

Sent out ‘delivery driver on way’ too late, man was here within 30 seconds after sending it, salt and chilli chips were dripping everywhere out of the bag onto everything

Everything was good, but the sweet and sour sauce tasted like a plum sauce. Apart from that everything was good.

The tray food was inedible and had to throw it away , the food in the special curry was inedible , the beef was overcooked , the chicken was hard , the chips I ordered came with the skin on , and were overcooked , as they were dark brown in colour, very disappointed and will not be ordering from here again.

I spent over 30 pound and didn't get a free bottle of coke like it say on the menu

Worst Chinese I've ever had. Chips left in the fryer so long they were brown. Wings nuked in the fryer. Genuinely horrific. Most of it is in the waste bin. Absolutely mad they take peoples money for that and they can't cook chips. Never again. Horrific.

Golden house is normally fabulous but for once I could not eat my main. I have ordered Szechuan chicken before as I love hot spicy food so tonight tried Szechuan beef for a change but the chilli in it was just so overpowering I could not taste any other flavours in it and I just could not eat it. I have this dish quite often when out and it never tasted like this. It won't put me off ordering again but I just won't order this dish again.

Prawns were completely soft & bland and the broccoli was soft and rubbery, sauce was very disappointing. Meal was very disappointing unfortunately.

Since my family members don't eat spicy food so we ordered a plain noodles, curry & chips, chicken balls. Thought that those food would be fine to eat. However there's too much peppers and the food are too spicy for them. The Singapore chow mein was a bit salty, the spare ribs are fine. The fried rice is good. Overall it's alright but too much spice.

Meal portions huge think my chickens will enjoy tomorrow also! Really nice best I have had in a long time ordered too much, sizes much bigger on specials then other places. Same as chicken sweet n sour ball’s loads more than other places. Definitely order again from them.

Food was not even chewable the whole order went in the bin ! It was all solid like chewing rocks it was also very very dry no sauce in the dish very unhappy

Personal taste - I didn't enjoy the chips sorry. Skins were on. Beef was chewy. The Pancake rolls were nice. The driver was polite. Sorry. Might try again.

Food was very bland tasting, the chow mien was over cooked so quite mushy, the rice was hard, batter on chicken balls not cooked enough. Need in the chowmein was ok though.

Didn’t say that there were carrots in the curry and I’m allergic to carrots. So i didn’t eat that. Then chips were freezing cold and soggy with oil. Didn’t eat the chow mien as it was cold too. Not a very good experience and won’t be ordering again.

Food is absolute disgusting! Curry looks and tastes as if it been warmed up in the microwave! All went in the bin £35 down the drain! Would never order from here if it was the last food place on earth🤮. -10 stars

Food quality is poor, the chips are horrible and they used to be nice from here don't know why they changed them Used to really enjoy food from here but its no where near the standards the food used to be

Normally can't fault the food from here but today it is not nice. The meat is all rubber. Not very nice overall most has gone in the bin The only thing really edible are the chicken rolls and prawn crackers I wont be ordering from here again time to fund new Chinese

Chicken chow mein and chicken balls tasted like they were gone off. Contacted restaurant and they agreed to refund me for the 2 items.

The pork balls were chicken not pork like we asked for and the popadoms were a bit old but apart from that it was all really nice

Very disappointed in wait and quality of food. The food was tasteless and wasn't able to eat it all.

Everything tasted stale, as if they been cooked for ages before. Chips were under cooked too. Disappointed as we thought we'd give it 1 last Try as the last couple of times there have been something wrong.

Everything was hot and gorgeous as usual. The only criticism was the King prawns were really salty, to the point I couldn't eat them and they aren't normally like that.

Food was lovely, there was alot of everything! Honey spare ribs were really meaty and there was lots!! Really enjoyed it all, would have preferred the seaweed to be a bit sweeter normally its sweet and salty which i love but honestly everything else was stunning!

Put in order and waited 2 and a half hours when I checked order online it said delivered , I rang them and they said it was on bottom of done pile and food hasn't been cooked yet, 😑

Asked for chicken curry and too much carrots and onions. The curry was very weak

They just need to read the notes... I have a mushroom allergy and asked for them to be left out but it came with them.

They got everything correct on a very large order. Food was beautiful as usual and everyone enjoyed. All food was kept hot again hard to do on such a large order. Will definitely be ordering again! 👍🏻

Order arrived quick, orderd chicken curry, but got curry with all veg in, chips were cold and soggy, and the poppadoms were stale, tried to call to tell them, but got no answer, won't be ordering from here again.
