Golden Harvest in Belfast

My favourite Chinese. Staff are lovely and the food is great and affordable, especially the munch boxes.

It was late On a Friday night and the girlfriend decided on Chinese no other option we ventured to this place . . . Food was collected and we arrived home , never again will I visit this place we are not a fan chicken is chewy , chow mein isn’t nice the only thing okay was chicken fried rice.

Worst chicken fried rice I've had since the Kam wah closed.

Took our money and won’t deliver food

I have ordered from here for years , never had a problem but the last 3 times have been awful. The black bean sauce was literally thick gloop with zero flavour , it had no black beans in the sauce. so what I got was flavourless bisto gravy. waste of money.

Delicious take away Chinese food. Ordered a small box and was enough for 1-2 people. Rice was slightly dry but after adding the curry it tasted amazing! I was also very surprised to find out that the chicken was halal.

Got a fried slug in my gravy chip😱owner said it was burnt gravy lol

Ordered a beef fried rice, when it eventually came the beef was like rubber and the rice was as hard as the road , both had obviously been reheated a few times, I’ll stick with gaze a few doors up.

Unfortunately there's a world of difference in this place's food and other Chinese takeaways in the South belfast area. Quality and taste is everything, GH lacks in both. Worst fried rice and salt and chilli chicken I've ever ate. Could make it better myself

Delivery driver refused to deliver to my apartment

This has to be the worst chicken balls chips and gravy I've ever had from a Chinese. Very greasy and soggy. Will not use again

Usually good, but tonight food was very poor .. received luke warm and the curry was very watery ...also chips lots of black bits on them and smaller portion than usual ..no idea why it was DISGUSTING tonight ....🤔🤔🤔🤔

Order 25mins before closing as didn't realise, yet still delivered hot and good quality/portioned food. Only Chinese I eat from as consistent and good food all the time

I've ordered a few times and it's been great each time. My only complaint would be that the honey chilli sauce is a bit watery, but it's very tasty so definitely not worth taking a star off.

I heard good reviews about this place so finally tried it two nights ago, I was not disappointed. Very friendly staff, and lovely food. Their gravy & curry is so delicious! Also good portions. I will definitely be back. Highly recommend.

Excellent vegan options - £7 small munchbox salt and chilli tofu, chips, spring rolls and curry sauce. 1 star off as cash only in 2023 :(

The food i got was wrong, i got 4 quid refund from this HOLE, but over 2 hours waiting!?! terrible outlet. never again. disgusting.. YUK. DO NOT BUY OR THINK OF BUYING FROM THIS CHEAP HOLE...HIV prone, get tested...i am freaked out now😳

Chips tasted old, borderline inedible. Rice tasted old too. Folks if people like me are paying you good money for your food the least you can do is cook fresh to order. That's the last time we'll be ordering from here. Only thing decent on the menu is the satay sauce.

Fried rice was crunchy and the tub of sauce for £2.10 is 1/3 i ok f tub of curry

After waiting 1hr and 40mins the food came and I felt the munch box which felt coldish but was assured by the driver that it was warm and guess what it was cold 😡

Were told driver rang the wrong phone number when he arrived and that security wouldnt let him through, however spoke to security afterwarfs and they said they let food deliveries through and they weren't sure if he'd been at all- plus after yhis i checked the number i attached to the order and it was definitely correct. We ordered at 9:50, didnt get our food until midnight- when it arrived it was cold, and despite spending over 25 quid and the food being so late, we didnt get any complimentary prawn crackers. Definitely wont order again

Food arrived early and was really good, piping hot not like some deliveries I've had. I will definitely be using Golden Harvest again

Anyone who says this place is nice needs their heads looked at, food was vile disgusting wouodnt even give to a dog, messy. No way the gravy was gravy, didn't smell taste or look like gravy at all, more like an orange colour! Never again order from here!! Rank even the look of the place is disgusting.. Needs a makeover!!

Chef used a ladle to scoop and mix spices that had been left in the dirty water after washing wok 🤮 I do not recommend

Salted n chilli chicken was inedible never had such a bad Chinese in my life, can't believe the chef would serve this used to like golden harvest usually top quality but this experience has put me off ordering again. 🤢

I asked for extra spicy for my chicken chowmein not extra salty. The food was really salty and I couldn't even eat it. I had to order Pizza just so I could eat something.

Excellent, fresh, not over salted

When the food arrived the curry sauce was spilled everywhere over all of the food. I have photos. The salt and chilli chips had no salt and chilli on them and they were soggy. The food was also cold when received. I spent £30 on this order and couldn’t eat it.

Top class. This is our go to Chinese takeaway (when you can get them on Justeat that is, as they're mostly offline due to how busy they can get). We just love the satay special curry with chips cooked well done. Delicious. The XL pizza box meal deal you can get is excellent value for money but can only be ordered by telephone order. Golden Harvest it would be great if you could add them on to Justeat! ❤️

Garbage chicken fried rice, nothing fresh about it at all. Very poor quality, watched the chef boil the chicken in water, drain, then throw it into a wok with hardly no oil. Bland, old rubbery boiled chicken with no seasoning or soy sauce and wet fried rice with 6 peas and hardly no egg is what I got for £6.50 Uncle Roger's been informed.

Haven't had a wee golden harvest in a while and it did not disappoint. Food was piping hot on delivery and absolutely delicious.

First time I’ve tried this place, food amazing, however, how it took over an hour to get here when we are only a couple of mins up the road I do not know

I wasn’t a fan of the salt & chilli chips but the salt & chilli chicken balls were outstanding. The satay sauce was different to what I’m used to but still nice! Thank you

Usually I love the beef curry here but last couple of times it has had a weird garlic aftertaste. I love garlic but it doesn't belong in curry 😔

Delivery driver was very early rang me once and then left before making contact with me. I rang the delivery driver 3 minutes after receiving a miss call and his response was “f*** off and take it up with just eat”. I was quite frankly disgusted with the service.
