Best chinese about only negative is they sometimes leave the phone off the hook and you can't get through as I've caught them out by going down there

Fantastic food from here, I especially love the Singapore chow mein what's also great for singletons like myself is the no minimum order fee, the lady on the phone is such a nice person and so friendly, the food is always piping hot and the portions are really good, I don't order often cause I very rarely carry cash but when I'd do golden gate is my must have treat, 🙂

By far the best Chinese takeaway in the locality. Always very polite and pleasant as well which goes a long way with me.

One of the nicest about, woman on the phone was lovely and I assume it was the same woman behind the counter when I walked in as she was also lovely. Customer service on point & the food was great too. Really enjoyed the mini Spring Rolls. Will go again!

I ordered chicken chow mein but it came pale and it looked like it was in jelly which made it to off putting it eat. The barbecue sauce was then bright red when it’s usually brown. Luckily, the egg fried rice was nice. However, the woman on the phone was very friendly when I ordered.

No chicken in chow main. Also runny and no taste aweful. Salt and chilli chicken balls were just chicken with a sprinkle off chilli flakes. Chips taste like they have been there for a week. Aweful food

Never go anywhere else. Best Chinese food I've ever tasted.

Ordered roughly £40 worth of food and omg it was Stunning. The best Chinese I’ve had in a long long time. Bbq spare ribs fell off the bone, the sauce was nicely done and they were gorgeous. The beef and chicken curry was just the right amount of spicy without overdoing it. Roast duck rice was perfect. What made my mind up most was the young lady behind the counter was very polite and chatty 10/10 for sure 100%

Curry is fair, chips were reheated and horrible. Not in a hurry to go there again.

Look a very clean place . The special fried rice was nice could have done with a bit more meat on the top. I would go there again.

Order a meal for me and my family the staff were amazing, some of the most meaty ribs I’ve ever had from a take away, the food arrived before expected and is the best take away in ystrad by far would definitely recommend and deffeinatly try the beef and mushroom.

I agree with the other reviewer regarding the rice. I’ve had beef fried rice and chicken fried rice and hardly any meat. Curry is nice, chicken balls too much batter and not enough chicken. People are friendly.

Just ordered a chicken chow mein, chicken balls and chips- hardly any chow mein and it was In a clear like jelly sauce. Like something out of alien! Chips were hard, and seemed like a day old. Chicken balls were ok, but seemed low on chicken inside. Worse Chinese I have ever had! Should of gone to pak sing house!
