Well cooked food delivered hot and on time. Request for no added salt was followed.

Ordered from here for years. This order was awful. Cold, undercooked and inedible. I will not order from here again.

Food is always lovely but unfortunately there was a missing item and a wrong item tonight x such a shame

The driver did not ring the doorbell and left the food outside the front door on the floor by the time we realised it was cold! Appalling service for the prices charged!!!!

Food arrived on time but was very poor quality and cold. I am not one to leave reviews but it was the worst Chinese I’ve had so will not be returning.

food was bland and very over priced for frozen as nothing cooked fresh,prawn toast never seen a prawn in its life, chop suey I've always known it to be beansprouts as main ingredient not water chestnuts and they ain't prawns in the dish but shrimps won't be using this chinese again total rip-off.

Fairly decent spare ribs, although £8.60 for four, thin ribs is a bit of a rip off. The Pancake Roll had one single tiny prawn and a few miniscule pieces of char sui. The prawn crackers were super soft and just stuck to your teeth. No evidence of any prawn in the toast. We won’t order from here again. Just shy of £36 wasted.

You could tell it had been reheated. Rice was one big lump. Veg rolls so tiny . Too many onions in main meal.

Normally my go to Chinese but after tonight not again, beef curry went in the bin meat was just fat and grizzle the sauce had no flavour total waste of money.

Restaurant had wrong postcode and food arrived Luke warm. Prawn crackers were stale. For £3.30 I’d expect perfect but they were not. A shame really as never had a problem with this restaurant before

I ordered chicken foo young, egg fried rice and house special fried rice, i order from here regularly and they gave me my regular order of 2 foo youngs and fried rice and a house special rice, these guys are 10/10 the best around

This used to be a fantastic Chinese food always used to be cooked with pride and taste fresh an hot lately its been Luke warm bland curry sauce watery an not thick like it used to be. If you complain they say next time ... sorry golden dragon no next time food is awful..

This is our go to chinese. We have tried a few around Swad but this is by far the best we've tried. Our order consists of duck pancakes, salt and chilli chicken wings, beef in black bean sauce. Everything is always super tasty.

Much of the meal was lovely, just a couple of items a bit of a let down, namely, the batter on the sweet and sour chicken was very thick and not crispy. The other slight disappointment was the very dry chips.

Chewy prawn crackers, pancakes for the duck we're stuck together and the sauce for the chicken and cashew was gloopy.

I’ve never had a chicken curry that colour before. Luminous yellow. Strange. Prawn crackers missing.

Wrong dish delivered, sheedded deep fried chicken we got sweet and sour crispy chicken. Some food was luke warm, prawn crackers were like paper and stale. Only good thing was the service.

Beef in black bean was ok but lacked flavour. Beef chow mein was the best meal. The chicken balls were nice too. However, the three curries were not good. There was no flavour in the curry sauce what so ever. Just tasted like water. Added salt but that didn’t do much unfortunately. Sadly, this was the worst curry sauce we have ever had. Sorry.

The egg fried rice was bland, the crispy chilli beef sauce was watery, the bag of prawn crackers was smaller than normal & it was barely warm. I know food costs have gone up, but having increased prices & decreased quality/quantity is a bit rubbish.

it was ok... was out for delivery over half an hour before being delivered. so food was alright but not great.

Worst Chinese I’ve ever tasted the sauce was like water and didn’t taste of anything couldn’t even eat it ended up throwing it away it was that bad and the chicken was dry aswell!

Ordered set meal for 2 people, turned up cold and an hour late for how much we paid I’d expect the food to at least be fresh - chicken balls tasted like they had been hot held, noodles cold, rice cold and prawn crackers stale.

Drinks were warm ….waited another hour for replacement Very disappointed to say the least very poor service and quality , will not use this takeaway again and am in two minds as to using Just Eat again after being charged £5 for delivery when spending over £20 for sub standard food

This has to be the best Chinese food my partner and I have ever had. The food was on time, lovely and hot, and tasted gorgeous. Plenty of meat in the rice and noodle dishes, sauces nice and thick, couldn't complain about anything at all.

Chips were dry and cold prawn crackers were stale soggy. The prawn toast was over cooked, bbq ribs were dry and no meat just fat and drenched in sauce. And rice was cold.

Says it’s been delivered but hasn’t. A driver said it was for number 8 but as you can clearly see it’s for number 6. Very poor, already waited over an hour, now having to spend more money on food.

The food was awful. It all tasted old and had a funny taste to it. The spring rolls were the worst of the meal, I couldn't even tell you what was in them🤢 Wasn't overly hot when it came either. Such shame since weve never had any problems here before and usually enjoy it.

After arriving nearly an hour late (and some ridiculous excuse given when I called), the food was very average indeed. The pork sweet and sour balls were awful. Full of gristle and really overcooked. I wouldn’t feed them to a dog

Order arrived on time but the joy was short-lived. Hot and sour soup had the taste and consistency of sweet chilli sauce straight out the bottle: thick, viscous and overpowering when eaten alone. The curry was thin enough to make me think it was soup - the chicken and as tasteless and the ham mushy. To top it off, three of the four dishes were cold. This was my first order from Golden Dragon (my usual delivery Chinese was affected by a kitchen fire) and will, without a doubt, be my last.

Ordered at 7:30pm and when placing the order it was estimated to be a 40 min delivery time (so 8:10 was the original estimated time). This was extended before the time arrived to around 9pm and they still failed to deliver within the timeframe. Finally arrived around 9:20pm, nearly 2 hours after ordering, and the food was cold and the drink was warm. Refused a request for a discount for the delay.

Quite possibly the worst Chinese food I've ever had. Everything stone cold and congealed. The salt n pepper chips have no salt or pepper on them, it is just chips drowned in sweet chili sauce. My son ordered fried chicken with satay sauce and received clearly frozen chicken pieces in a beige jelly with undercooked peppers. my chop suey had no vegetables in it except for beansprouts and my partners shredded beef was basically deep fried dust. The side of sauce I ordered was curdled too, awful!

Golden Dragon has always been top-notch in terms of food quality and service. However, I must say that with the recent price increase for delivery and the minimum order policy, I find it challenging to justify the cost. While the food is still good, I believe there are other options where the quality matches the price better. I have been a loyal customer in the past and have left positive reviews. I hope that there will be a future loyalty program or discount policy in place so that customers like me can continue to enjoy the food from this venue. Best regards, Sam

food was very poor for the price. crispy beef was covered in horrible runny look like gravy bit was suppose to be a sauce. fried rice was white with bits in it. no taste or flavor. we threw away the meal. going to go and eat pizza in the brewery house instead.

We came for a weekend getaway and fancied a treat so ordered a chinese. The food arrived LATE. After waiting for ages it eventually arrived only for the chicken dishes to be swimming in watery sauces with no taste, the chips tasted stale and the vegetables in the chow mein looked like they had pretty much shrivelled into nothing. Would not recommend at all. When trying to raise an issue with the order we got ignored by the restaurant.

my mum commented on how nice the scampi was. the omelette was superb as always. my family and I always use Golden Dragon it is our favourite Chinese takeaway the food is always delicious and always hot.

1 of the worst Chineses I've had!!!!. not that it was horrible but everything was tastless, the crispy shredded beef wasn't crispy (more like a goo!!!!! chips cold. for the money the portions were terrible and food not up to scratch. I definitely won't be ripped off by these again!!!!!
