ordered food and after 30 mins of order confirmed i called them and they said they aint delivering and so i ask them to cancel my order and they said NO! then HUNG UP! i am livid

2 and a half hours to arrive. The delivery driver (an older gentleman) was so lovely and apologetic, he must be rushed off his feet. Not good enough from the restaurant.

Fod was pre-ordered for 7pm was a no show phoned the restaurant 3 times for an ETA and the response I had was the rudest I've ever been spoken to. I asked to speak to the manager and he confirmed I was speaking to him. Finally the food arrived 8pm and had only just left the restaurant not what I was told when I phoned up. The only saving grace for this order was the driver he was polite, helpful and understanding. I will never order from this place again and will not recommend them to anyone.

the kebab came with onions but it didn't say that asked for mint sauce there wasn't any plus when we callee to explain that my partner is allergic to onions and it didn't state that well they replied with all kebabs do and was rude

Tikka masala was too salty didn’t taste very good

We’ve ordered from here before so we’re very disappointed. It took an hour to come and I’m sorry to say it really wasn’t nice.

I’m still waiting for it so it was not delivered at 22.35 like showing on your delivery status… it’s a good job I’ve taken screen shots of when I messaged you and told you I did not have my delivery and was still waiting

Keema naan tasted like fish and Bombay potato was were gone off. Vile 🤢🤮

Food arrived very hot, chips were quite dark and soggy but other than that the food was all really nice. The saag was very spicy and was only ordered because it typically isn’t a spicy dish so that was disappointing.

As always food is amazing, friendly delivery driver and always on time.

Ordered a dish with prawns but appeared to have some type of chicken, wouldn’t be too bad but there’s 4 quid difference.. food itself was lovely.

Disgusting. Tastes like someone poured a whole container of salt in by accident. Awful waste of money. Called and complained and he said bring it back for another one lol. No thanks keep it.

Food is absolutely gorgeous and piping hot when delivered. Portion sizes are very generous and lots of meat (which is cooked beautifully) in the curries. My favourite Indian takeaway!

Little disappointed this time as we always order from Ginger and it’s always amazing, however this time the chips were really greasy and the chicken madras was very watery and the onion bhaji didn’t seem cooked throughout. I didn’t end up eating it, it’s usually all perfect.

Just had my 1st ever take away delivered from ginger take away. All I can say is wow it was top notch, plenty left for a meal tomorrow, I asked for the vegetable biryani sauce to be vindaloo and it was spot on,. The food came within the 45mins that they said it would take and it was piping hot. It'll be my go-to takeaway from now on.

Absolutely disgusting customer service!! I ordered a chicken shashlik online, and unfortunately a lamb shashlik was delivered. I totally understand that mistakes get made and people can make errors. However when I telephoned to query the order, instead of an apology, I got told numerous times that I was wrong and I had ordered lamb (although I had email confirmation confirming the correct order). The individual I spoke with was not apologetic in any way, in fact was rude and argumentative and was accusing me of lying. After five minutes of continuous explaining I was told ‘well you’re going to have to wait for another hour for it’. The same individual also had the cheek to attempt to charge me for item!! Absolutely appalling service. Will never eat here again!!

Excellent Indian food. A wide variety of very well prepared dishes from traditional dishes, tandoori and the specialities all fresh and well flavoured. I pass the place occasionally and to be fair, from the outside it would be easy to pass it by - but the quality of Ginger is evident in the effort they put into their food. Recommended.

This is a review after repeated orders over a couple of months since changing from my usual. Usually quite quick delivery and food is always hot. We always get Onion Bhajis and they are always crispy, just as they should be. My usualy Chicken Makhani is packed full of really tender chicken with Keema Rice which is to die for! I highly recommend, its not the best but for what we have in Port Talbot it's a 5 stars!

Absolutely gutted , worst Indian I've been to and I've worked in them for five years , got both orders completely wrong , food was bland, no taste no seasoning chicken was like leather even though i ordered a lamb chikuti had to go to shop and pay extra charge on taking out money cause their card machine doesn't work which they should of made aware when i made order on phone then return after ringing for them give me someone else's curry, majorly disappointed , go to Mirchi Masala or Elachi , this place is a waste of space.

This place has gone downhill big time. Absolutely awful food on Saturday night, both mine and my wifes curry was bland, chicken was like leather, chips were hard in the middle, paying for a keema naan which in fact was a naan bread as there was absolutely no meat in there, and they forgot to give so had to go back to collect, onion bhajis were dripping in oil the bag was soaking of oil, absolutely disgusting!! The chef should go over to Bombay spice in town to learn how to produce quality Indian food!!

Will never go here again, after being abused by staff infront of customers, got way out of hand and I was a very loyal customer for many many years, shame because I loved this place I ordered from them on a very regular basis!! Literally a massive shame.

This takeaway has an excellent menu. The food is always so tasty and fresh. I love all of the rice, lots of their curry and they do the best naan bread here. Hard to pick one dish as my favourite because of the amount of dishes i love are huge. Customer service here is impeccable.

Had to wait 1 hour and 50 mins for the food to be delivered after telling us it would only be 10-15 mins after ringing then when it had been an hour. I understand if it is busy but then don't give customers a false time of when the food will be there.

Best Indian in Port Talbot. Plenty of food and always boiling hot, fresh and tasty. Fast delivery and staff always polite and friendly. If you like a tasty dish with a bit of heat, I'd recommend the Chicken Kazana. We won't go anywhere else!
