My husband and I celebrated our anniversary at Giacomo's after looking for somewhere new to dine. If you're looking for good quality, authentic Italian dishes, a relaxed and friendly atmosphere and excellent service then this is the place!

This is a lovely restaurant. My family has been going here for years. I can't praise the food highly enough and the staff are so friendly and attentive. It can get noisy when they have large groups.

A bit of Italy in The weald - Sevenoaks. What a wonderful find - which was recommended by family who were as impressed as I was. Five stars on everything from the moment you walk in to the moment you leave. Could write a long list of everything that was perfect but will leave it to - just try for yourself. Although a bit of a journey for me I will most definitely be returning.

Food is nice but Giacomo is tense and unkind to his staff. We had to wait 40mins before our orders were taken which was also very unpleasan.

Just had the most fantastic lunch at a genuine Italian restaurant. The service was outstanding and with a smile. The food was out of this world with an extensive menu and unique dishes. Will definitely be coming back.

my wife an I booked a table here on 14th May for 8pm ,we arrived 5 minutes early were greated by a lovely young lady who took my wife's coat and showed us to our table ,we ordered drinks and were handed menus and napkins were placed in our laps,we were shown a variety of seafood on a platta in front of us and the young lady told us what each item was and that they were all fresh seabass fish lobster 🦞 king prawns calamari all looked delicious, we ordered a starter to share witch was different salami and parma ham with rocket salad tomatoes 🍅 and morzerella cheese with some small slices of bread it was delicious, I had lasagne for my main witch was delicious my wife had lamb with dolpware potato we chatted together and tasted each other's meals both delicious and both presented nicely on their plates,we were asked if we would like to see the desert trolley and both said yes please, After a few minutes, the young lady bought over this trolly and told us what everything was, Rum barba biscofy cheesecake Tira masue lemon chillo pots all came with ice cream or cream. we both had biscofy cheesecake with cream, delicious we sat and chatted got the bill and left we had an awesome evening here and will be back again soon to eat and taste Italian food at its finest quality . The staff here were very welcoming and very professional company. I will recommend this outstanding company to others. Thanks for a lovely evening. A real Italian restaurant with a passionate and dedicated chef, top class staff that serves authentic Italian recipes. My favourite is aubergine parmesan (melanzane parmigiana) perfectly layered aubergines served with full flavour of home made tomato sauce and parmesan cheese . It has a very elegantly decorated, relax atmosphere with a beautiful garden. Highly recommended Hope to see you soon again.

Good starters, service was okay. The pasta mains were good, the prawns - I would take it or leave it. Not worth the price.

Went there for my friends birthday looking forward to our evening meal but left very dissatisfied. Food wasn't upto standard for the price and felt like I'd been transported back into the 1980s. Food wasn't hot and presentation was a joke. Will not recommend or return

Can't think of any better restaurant than this one. Yes, it's not cheap, but you should always be prepared to pay the right price for excellent quality. We spent a thoroughly enjoyable evening at dinner with family (special occasion); the food and service could not be faulted...I'm already planning another 'special occasion' if I can think of one!

As an experienced diner who regularly eats at Al la Carte restaurants every Saturday evening I was lucky to come across Giacomos when searching for somewhere different to try. Crisp white linen table cloths were greatly appreciated as so many restaurants think it is trendy to eat from formica tables despite claiming to be high end. Since our first visit during which we could not fault a single thing we immediately booked to come back within the next two weeks. The staff are friendly and attentive, but not intrusive, and the food is good quality beautifully cooked. At the time there was a small party celebrating a birthday who were all enjoying themselves and from an onlooker received excellent service throughout right down to the end of their meal when they were served champagne. This week we discussed how lovely the lighting is, not too bright but a warm glow. I have eaten every variety of meat they have on the menu. The liver, veal. steak and lamb were all cooked to perfection. It is also nice to see people made an effort in the way they dressed which not only showed respect for the restaurant but for other diners. Who wants to see workman's jeans when you have dressed suitably for a lovely evening meal in stylish surroundings, keep them for the burger bar. .

Sat 12th Nov. Food was excellent, good quality ingredients cooked to perfection. Also a nice selection of dishes. Service was very good.

Took my wife for her birthday surprise. Had a lovely time. Food is fantastic and service just friendly enough without being intrusive . Enjoyed it so much that we immediately made a booking for Sunday's Opera Evening. Took a couple who had not been there before and they enjoyed it as much as we did. Thanks to Giacomo and all his staff for a delicious meal and great entertainment. WE WILL BE BACK!!

Food served was served lukewarm. Dishes very expensive Though projected as a "Posh" restaurant in many ways, it certainly is not so. I will not visit this place again.

Cozy and elegant restaurant with authentic amazing Italian food

Firstly this is not a cheap place, neither in money or the experience of Italian cuisine. Very friendly team as you enter, not strained, genuinely there to serve in a comfortable but professional manner. The ambience is nice but I prefer to focus on the food. The knowledge the staff have of their menu, the origins from different parts of Italy, adds to the experience. The food was sublime, presented well, cooked perfectly and a taste for everyone. The wine list, again not cheap was excellent ( They ask your preference before you sit so your wine can breathe) I have eaten in some fantastic restaurants in Italy, mostly in Florence and this team can match them in every way. I will definitely go back and will encourage others to visit.

Quality food, excellent service. We tried calamari and timballo di avocado for starters, fegato alla veneziana, branzino grigliato, gamberoni al prosceco and ravioli from the mains. Excellent desserts! Everything was delicious.

Tried to call and rearrange a few times with the restaurant but could not get through with no answerphone. I was then sent very aggressive emails when I did not show. Such a shame as heard great things but customer service leads a lot to be desired.

The most fabulous lunch celebrating a very special lady. The food was out of this world . Mouth watering Flavours, the staff and management made us feel like part of the family . I only wish we lived closer .

It was wonderful to eat in a restaurant after such a long time. We have eaten in a few pubs since lockdown lifted but this was a treat. The service was very diligent we had four different members of the team working our table. The ambiance created by hearing the staff greeting us in Italian and using that language in the background to converse added to an illusion that we might not be in the uk. The decorations of the restaurant was smart but of 20 year old tastes. The colours were not the more popular muted grey shades and there was a very dated metal artwork of cooking pots over the fireplace. While in contrast the toilets were very chic and clever design. The Food. I had the mussels as starter which were sublime. I loved the very modern finger bowl, it raised an eyebrow and was a talking point. There was a lovely touch when the manager showed us a platter covered with cling film with the fresh seafood on display. And indeed the sea bass was large and very tasty. So why only four stars ? There was no wow moment. The food tasted lovely and was good helpings. But the presentation was dull. There was not a single person in the restaurant so amazed by the beauty of their plate they took a photo for social media. For example the dessert trolly was piled with lovely tarts etc. When we made our choice it was cut, placed on a plate and taken to the kitchen. I thought perhaps to dress and return on a glass plate with a garnish of soft fruit berries a lattice work of liquid chocolate maybe a gentle dusting of some sort. But no, it returned exactly as it was with a scoop of ice cream. Now I realise what I have described would not add to the taste. However it would add to the experience. It might be a generation thing and the restaurant is set up for the older generation ( which I am). In short the food was excellent and would return definitely yes.

Thank goodness it's open again. Traditional Italian cooking as shaped by English demands. Accurately prepared, completely delicious and so reliable in an area underserved by stable fine dining. The service is a hallmark here. It shows what good things can happen when one person whose name is on the restaurant takes responsibility.

It’s wonderful to have Giacomo’s open again. The same excellent service and food that we have always expected from Giacomo’s and his staff. Having this restaurant back is a sign that we are headed back to normality. (Pan Buckley)

Giacomo's was a wonderful experience last night. The current arrangements are carefully thought through and the staff are professional, reassuring and charming. The food was, of course, absolutely delicious! We had arancini, carpaccio, sea bass and melanzane, and magnificent desserts - apple tart and lemon creme patisserie filled tart. Can't wait to go back! My family recently ordered from Giacomo’s takeaway menu and it was fantastic. The staff were lovely, friendly and super fast at replying. I cannot fault them in any way. We ordered a lot including several starters, mains and desserts and not once were we let down. I was surprised with how cheap it was considering my dad ordered lobster! Highly recommend!!!
