My favourite donor kebab, friendly staff, tasty food, I didn’t eat donor kebab often until I tried this, now it’s in my favourites, less greasy and thinly sliced, highly recommend :)

The food is alright but the staff is very bad…they don t work with gloves and touch your food with the hands ! When they have promotions for cheaper price,they put less quantity (at least in kebabs) never recommend this place to eat !!! 🤮

Bad portions , barely any chicken in the kebab mostly lettuce and sauce , dough balls werent even soft when reheated, Chips were soggy . Only good thing was the sauce and drink

The driver delivered on time, However I got myself a chicken doner wrap with nothing else inside and paid £3 to make it a meal but only got a few fries and hardly no chicken inside my wrap !!! what a waste of money WON'T be buying from here ever again.

I am working in German donner they give me one day work and per owner commitment they told me I give u wages and then after owner is not pic up the phone and not give me my wages Third class management and just use in employe and poor service

One of the chicken doner wraps were fine but the other had very little chicken doner and too much vegetables.

I scheduled delivery for 18:25 however arrived 45 minutes late. Very disappointed as i scheduled it ahead of time as well.

Ordered at 5pm and asked for delivery at 6:10pm just in time for iftar as we hadn’t had time to prepare a meal. Called 8 times to find out where the food was and no one answered. Food was eventually delivered around 7pm!! Arrived cold as if it had been cooked ages ago. Very disappointed and will not be ordering again from here. My toddler and kid were also hungry as we have iftar together as it’s very early this year. Lack of service is a disgrace.

Wrap didn’t have a lot of meat in it and the cheesy hash browns were all stuck to the bag and mushy, I normally order from the Chadwell heath store but thought I would try the Barkingside store but unfortunately will not again 👎

Not happy with my recent visit to GDK. Went to collect my food which the shop had a sign stating they were closed. I knocked on the door and a staff member opened the door and handled me my food which I had concerns as came 10 minutes before my collection and the food was already prepared but all equipment had been turned off and closed for the day. The employee assured me that the food was just prepared despite feeling cold. When opening the packaging at home, it was stone cold. Very poor.

The doner box fries was lovely as always. The doner box rice however was placed long ways so half the food spilled out in the brown bag. Not a good decision.

Delivery drivers need to stop picking up multiple orders and driving all across town. Food delivered cold as the driver went in a complete different direction to my location to deliver other orders when I live close to the restaurant. Delivery drivers are giving the restaurants bad rep with such an unsatisfactory service.

the burger cold and was made in such a way that when I opened it al the melted cheese was in the bag not on the burger, so I only had lamb and bread, and the wrap was ice cold so I threw it away.

Didn’t enjoy this and I wouldn’t go back especially with the other Turkish doner restaurants nearby. Would say this was the worst German Doner branch I have been to. They cut the Doner so thin(picture shown) that turns into a crisp- doesn’t feel like you are eating a Doner, more like a packet of crisps. I go to other branches such as Ilford to get my GDK. Overall a bad experience as it’s the branch cost cutting at all costs.

I ordered a kebab without onions, but all the kebabs came with onions.

I always go Turkish when it comes to kebabs but thought I’d give this chain a chance. Oh my days I Was blown away by the quality of the meat, the taste was sublime. Nice proportion of salad in a beautiful warm crisp gyro style fresh bread. The staff are very attentive especially rizwan who I believe is maybe a manager or something. Excellent service from the young lady taking my orders from raju who guided me on what to eat. I would defo recommend to anyone to try this boss box oh my it’s absolutely 10/10. Great work guys can’t wait to try other items on the menu. Thank you again raju an rizman. BRB very soon.

No faults at all, had a really pleasant meal here. Excellent customer service, staff was helpful with answering any questions and were sure to explain the different dishes. I dined in and was suprised with how everything was for a kebab shop, felt similar to a restaurant. Flavours were exceptional, food was to a high standard. Had an OG kebab, was very nice. Good flavor and quality of meat compared to a standard kebab shop you'd find. My favourite part was the chilli cheese bites with the spicy sauce, highly recommend. Overall, really good on all aspects.

I'm disappointed with my last order , first of all, the entire food was cold, really cold chips and all doners, no sausage pots was been allocated, my kids are not even touched them Burgers, not cooked well at all+cold . As an regular client I'm really Disappointed with it

The staffs are very friendly and supportive. They are polite and they know their jobs pretty well. I would love to mention Sadia and Zara for their smiley and appreciative behaviour always. Love this place...

Very very disappointed with my order , I ordered 3 quesadilla with option extra chicken paid £2.99 extra each which cost £9.99 for one and received my order like pigeon food ,I will never ever use barkingside GDK . I will rate them under ZERO

The food was cold and there was almost no meat in the kebab just red cabbage.

Disappointed first time visit and the last. Never again. The meat was tasteless unappetising. No way is the meat beef it tastes like lamb. Why is all the meat shredded. We asked for extra meet and paid the £2.99 but the box size was the same size as a regular box no different. If your paying or extra meat at least make the box size bigger. The jalapeños were missing and the cheesy fries were processed not cheddar. Vert small portions. Feel like over charged for something that hasn't lived upto to expectations. You get given more fries than anything. Will be putting Google reviews and trust pilot. Better off going to KFC or McDonald's. Big mistake. Well there's a first tour for all
