German Doner Kebab in Redbridge

First time I thought in treating myself to a GDK. Portion was very good, chips were hot, Donner kebab was cold no sauce and honestly no taste to it. Will I go again 🤔 probably not. I did not expect this.

Went with a friend, first vist for both of us and the last. Half way through consuming my food there was a greasy hair flat on a peice of meat and one at the side on the chip. I call over a staff and she took it tk the back without a word. She didn't respond with a sorry or anything! I waited for someone to come to me with an apology but nothing. I went to the counter and again no one spoke just looked at me with embarrassed faces and blank stares waiting for one person or another to speak first until a guy at the prep section said, ma'am your replacement is coming... (again no apology). I said "I don't want a replacement, the hairs put me right off, not a single one of you came to speak to me where I was sitting. I want a full refund. It was obvious they didn't want to speak up because there were 5 customers waiting at the till and they didn't want them to hear....well all the reason they should have come and spoken to me rather than me having to go to the till, I will speak loudly as to inform other customers!

Yesterday I was in this restaurant with my family and both 3 chicken kebabs in the box. The meat was not fresh, a lot of salt. I have first like this experience with this restaurant.

Absolutely shocked! £14 meal and its literally empty, they didnt even try lol. Uber refusing to refund me, I suggest you provide me with an email to log this matter as a formal complaint. Day light robbery!

It took 2 hours for my food to come

Food arrived pretty much stone cold. Had to be reheated before it was eaten

Placed an order and they didn't pack all my food as said I had to come collect it when I've paid for delivery and won't refund me.

Got what we ordered food was hot yea would order from here again

You’re showing delivery time between 15-30 minutes but I got my order after more than an hour and that’s not the first time happened, food quality is ok but delivering time is bad

Extremely disgusting toilet! Food was alright except the fact they forgot to put extra feta cheese in my order that I paid for and after didn't offer anything refund or making a new one.

I ordered via Just Eat, and this is the third time I've received the same wrong order. I ordered a vegetarian kebab, but three times I've received chicken instead. I always order this meal when I come home from my long shift. I've made up my mind not to order again, as they left me without anything to eat.

I think i need to stop ordered my food received again chicken instead of veggies one why…???? Next time i will be go somewhere now they left me hungry as no option

Staff are soo rude. Terrible experience. Staff are extremely rude and disrespectful, no politeness or gratitude shown. Service is awful. Would not recommend!

Not happy with order, i don’t know why it’s repeated i have order two box but received one box and one in beg even most of the items are wrong both are chicken one instead I ordered one chicken and one veggie and last food was cold.

My chips were cold and my chocolate had melted so much it had to be thrown away 😳

Very very disappointed. Firstly the food was cold. Secondly, I paid £3 for extra mix- but 80% of the box was filled with salad with hardly any meat. Poor experience. GBK have lost their standards lately. Used to be very good when they were first established. Sort it out management!

The food was not as expected as before it was, it’s dry, paninis have not enough sauce in it, it was dry to eat, infact I have to add some from my home and then I would be able to eat.

"50% off order" - Should have known this was too good to be true. Got 50% worth of chips/meat etc. Chips were cold and hard, had the feel of when you leave hot food out for too long. No idea why it takes so long and it was peak dinner time? 1.5/10.

I have ordered on Just Eat , I can’t believe the amount of food they give , that’s a joke , you pay 25£ for your order and in the end you still hungry , very less portion , basically they give nothing to eat but charge you a lot Not recommend at all , avoid this place

toastie was very dry ... quantity very very less... vegetables were very soogy.. ilford branch is very very organised and quality quality both are very good... but chadwell heath branch is not up to the mark.. very disappointed.....

I ordered the deluxe meal, food arrived cold and missing items (spring rolls, flatbread and they gave the smallest amount of chips). Sauces looked used. Either the delivery driver ate some of our food or the restaurant staff was blind enough not to be able to follow basic orders. Absolute shame.

I usually don't care for kebabs, but I recently tried a mixed kebab wrap at this place and I found it to be quite satisfying and delightful. The cashier was so warm, friendly, and accommodating. The service was very prompt, and the restaurant was really clean and had a great atmosphere.

Mixed doner ordered with no salad. Received a cold lamb doner. No chicken doner. Soggy chips. £20+ each for a cold doner, cold chips and hot spring rolls. The doner I received was dry and cold.

Is not first time when we missed some items from our order,and never no one resolved the problem.

HORRIBLE - Half of the meat was undercooked and the other half was burnt. Everything was cold, except for the juice which was warm. I threw everything after 3 bites. The order was supposed to arrive in 20-35mins and it arrived in 1h.

Food arrives semi cold but it was still enjoyable. You could maybe improve the freshness of your salad and maybe your packaging so the food stays more hot :)

We order via uber eat a boss box as long as rest was good kebab him self was ogly. Meat was not fresh and there was no chance to chew that. Disgusting

Meat was very dry and parking in the surrounding area is a nightmare.

Requested no cabbage as i have an allergy to it and they still added it to my meal! and the free item advertised which was the reason i placed an order didn't even come!!

The best thing about this German donner is not only the food but also the environment. That's why this is my all time favourite.

At 9:10 Monday 05-08-24 lady given the food free drivers . And give me the order roughly and order fell down in the floor..

The worst taste ever! I don't know who cooked it and what the recipe is, but it's disgusting. At least try what you cook sometimes, the combination of ingredients, and the taste of the product. I'm disappointed. This isn't the first time I've ordered from you, sometimes it's great, sometimes it's so-so or cold, but it was delicious. This time I was completely disappointed.

Hi I like the test of the kebab but it was really disappointing that we order 3 meal boxes and believe me we paid £26 but the quantity of kebab very very less just they full the box by salad and chips. So disappointing

Paid 11£ for the food but it was cold then when I complain only get a £6 credit. Wont be ordering again

What you pay for and what you get it is rediculous! It's daylight robbery! I don't understand the hype! I brought the gym box and there was barely any salad! The kebab tasted mediocre! I wont be spending £30 again that's for sure!

I did not receive what I ordered and instead received someone else’s food and was told that my actual order won’t be given to me so I’ve spent this money and received nothing as I gave the justeat delivery driver the other persons food back to him so now don’t have dinner and am out £13.

I ordered German donner box. With chips meat and salad. I got salad and chips! Where was the donner?! Absolutely shocked!

The meat was Luke warm when the order arrived. The kebabs were just wrapped in foil rather than the boxes they are usually delivered in. I have always enjoyed their kebabs but may not be ordering again

Everythink was cold waste of money

AVOID - paid 20£ for two doner with cheese box + drinks, the box was near empty, literally 8 bites, don't waste your money go to a propa Turkish shop not this louis vuitton doner brands, really disappointed with the quantity given.
