Girls did a great job looking after eight of us. Great grub, good company. Recommended, the food was beautifully presented and we had a great evening.

Cosy and eclectic, embellished with the warmest of welcomes from the two lady proprietors, are just for starters. Tasty food and its presentation, backed by attentive service, made for a truly memorable evening. This was a first for a group of 7 and we will be back- for breakfast and lunch.

There were quite a few customers arriving when we did, but service was fast and efficient and friendly. It's a lovely garden to enjoy a coffee in and we would highly recommend it if you are visiting this lovely town

Encantador para un salón de té que hace sus propios pasteles y son excelentes. Excelente servicio y no es caro.

Precioso lugar para sentarse y comer, la comida deliciosa y abundante, tortas caseras, así que son una obligación.

We often visit this place when we arrive in Beccles early. The décor is very dated but we don't go there for the décor. The staff are very friendly and, although we've only had coffee and tea cakes, it is very enjoyable.

The Garden Room eatery is situated at the rear of a cheap goods shop ,do not look at décor ,not modern, but clean and functional. It is run and owned by a lady who is also the cook. The meals are cooked to order so there may be a little wait, but well worth it, or if you require it have a nice slice of homemade cake and a cup of tea or coffee. She also does a all day breakfast, with a slice of fried bread, not for those on a diet.

Very nice little tea rooms with gardens. We had the full English Breakfast, £6 with a drink and it was superb. Typical tea rooms menu, eggs, ham chips etc and pies etc. Very nice little place and very good value.

Delicious food, good ambience and entertaining lunch with Desmondo’s and a one of our group reciting poetry from Christopher Matthew and one friend reciting Stanley Holloway with Albert and the Lion. Booked again for another entertaining lunch next month!!!!!

What a truly fabulous old fashioned pub with very welcoming landlady Anni and her customers, especially Janet and Peter, when we joined in Quingo yesterday afternoon. It was thrilling to win the picture quiz. The room was warm and cosy due to its great wood burner stove. The complimentary sandwiches were an added bonus! Thank you so much for the welcome and will join you all again in the New Year.

Honestly this place was quite average. Had heard good things about the food but we were quite disappointed. The calamari was chewy in places and the pepperoni pizza looked and tasted like a frozen pizza (harsh but truth). I ordered a dish off the specials which was listed as chicken alfredo. I feel as though they definitely should specify on the menu that this is NOT pasta and that it is in fact chicken in a mushroom sauce with potatoes. It tasted fine but nothing to rave home about. We were a little disappointed as we were seated in the snug at the front which was cramped and draughty. The staff were pleasant enough, no complaints there. Unfortunately wouldn’t return.
