Saw an offer 2 course meal £14.95 Sunday to Thursday so went in. After 2 starters and 2 main meals and 2 fantas they charged £53.10. When we said about the sign outside they said that was thevearly bird menu. Firstly we went at 5.30 pm they didnt open until 5pm and was only offered 1 menu so thought we could chose from that. We ordered a basic curry so why were we charged double. The drinks came to £5. The food wascquite tastless also for the price. Watch for this its a scam. We were offered some money back which we refused. I thought letting others know was better than getting £10. We will never be back as they onlyvturned the heating and lights on as we were going up the stairs. All the guy said you would pay £80. We said firstly we are not in Belfast and that sign is misleading. Places in Belfast are more respectably pleasing and a warmer atmosphere. They are taking cash only too so probably not paying the right tax for their takings.

Visited twice in the last few weeks and had two rather indifferent experiences. Opted for Early Bird deal on both occasions, as well as the same starter both times, too. Service from girl the first time when I had a Madras was excellent, but second time was truly awful from tall manager/owner type. He ignored me when I walked in, standing with his back to me and then when I finally did get up to his empty restaurant he failed to bring me the Early Bird menu, or even make me aware of it. Extremely lucky to be getting 3/5 for that. I find that a disgusting act. His service was abysmal, really; throwing down plates and snatching them away again. Zero warmth, empathy or niceties with him at all when I am the only person in his cold and empty restaurant. Naan bread is good, I'll give them that, but I certainly wouldn't be rushing back to a restaurant where the male staff can't be civil and respectful, or do the 'right' thing of letting their customers know about the early bird menu on offer. That is sly and cunning, and puts me off the place greatly for the future...

Had a takeaway meal from the ganges earlier. Vile. No spicing. My vegetable biryani had cabbage in it. The onion bhaji was doughy and mushy. Naan bread doughy and undercooked. Won't be using them again. Eastern Tandoori from here on.

We have visited twice recently and both times both food and service have been first class. We used to go there many years ago when booking was essential and although there are small differences in the curries we haven't had a bad one yet. Just a pity its a bit far for us or we would be there more often and it's BYO.
