Not the friendliest service and the prices are steep , but got to say the sausage roll and banana cake we selected was absolutely yum

2nd visit to this establishment - still fail to see what the fuss is all about? produce looks fabulous - on both visits popped in for a coffee & catch up with a friend - seems there are alot of staff - made coffee order - left waiting and 2 sets of other customers who arrived after us got served quicker, Seems very spacious but not enough seating - bit perplexed to find people with takeaway cups sitting at tables - Nevertheless won't bother returning - plenty other coffee shops around with much better service and cheaper prices - not that the price is an issue. Thanks but NO THANKYOU.

Excellent food, amazing environment, caring, loving and fun employes. Was very very pleased with my experience and i woukd recomend it to everyone - a must go in london for breakfast

I came just to buy sourdough bread. Tried at home, but not what was looking for or expected. Also huge dislike - this chain of the bakery is cashless, do not give people choice! Cheep place but without quality.

ghastly and not improved despite several years of poor customer feed back, both on line and in the shop - most interesting items are sold out, consistently mid morning. Overall the menu has not changed for years now. Very poor show

Wow! This is definitely a great bakery. It has so many options and it is really hard to choose what to eat. The service is quick and friendly. They also serve great coffee.

The prices go up every couple of months. Since last summer, Croissants have gone from £2.20 to £2.55 and it wasn’t long ago that they were £2. I’ve got a feeling that we’re all paying for their massive expansion.

Just the best place for excellent food. We have just found Gail’s, but we will be sure to use them again. The food was tasty and fresh. Their pastries and savouries are amazing. Great staff too. We went to the Lambeth North location, but we’ll be looking out for the other sites.

Certain soulless staff who doesn’t follow instructions. Wrong drinks given when I ordered a black coffee but came with milk and serving cold food without mentioning at all.

Visited the kingston uponThames shop..No prices or allergen advice visable on fresh counter cakes and snacks,only pricey brand juices available, nothing to suit my 3 year old grandson..so shocked when I got the bill..so expensive!..and was told...we dont take cash..tables and floor dirty and noticed security cameras around the shop...what are the Owners doing ?..sitting watching and rubbing their hands together as the money rolls in??..you are opening a branch in my home town of Teddington...you wont last 5 mins with prices like that and the coffees were horrible ...get a grip!!

4£ for Oat Flat white coffee is complete madness… who do you think you are???? Absolutely crazy… and your coffee is not even that good… low down that price and live in reality… disappointing 👎👎👎🫷

This franchise is being vastly UNDERrated. We recently spent two weeks walking distance from a Gail's franchise, and visited it nearly everyday. The place was always bustling, with couples, families, children, and pets. It was clearly the hub of the neighborhood. The service was always attentive, friendly, and efficient. The bakery goods and coffee were a huge step above any other shop we stopped at. Frankly, I was surprised it was a franchise and not a single family bakery. I wish we had this in the states, it would make a killing.

Terrible service and massively overpriced paid for breakfast and coffee given a table number breakfast came but no coffee paying for table service so want the coffee with breakfast and call your self a bakery your bagel was not even edible avoid at all costs and this is the first review I have ever taken the time to ever write

Clifton road w9. 1 baguette 2 pastrami bagels and 1 almond croissant. To take away just shy of £20. I had to refresh the baguette in my oven when I got home very soggy. the bagels where very hard almost stale and very salty and I have never had a dryer croissant in my life and no almond paste inside. I might as well thrown £20 in the bin.

Staying in the area for the weekend, we came across Gail's on Sunday morning and it met our requirements for a takeaway coffee and a little something to eat. My husband was most happy with his filter coffee. I rather liked the raspberry bun.

This is a great addition to Maida Vale. However, the baguettes seem to have shrunk since the start of this crisis and the staff certainly need to be sent on a client relationship course - very unwelcoming.
