Frydays in Wakefield

When will I ever learn, overcooked rock hard batter. only place for this is in the bin. it seems the people commenting how nice they are have definitely not had good fish and chips.

Same as usual Quality fish and chips ordered one medium fish and chips and one large fish and chips and curry sauce

Why are your chips so brown and burnt tasting? Can't eat them Why don't you do scallops?

Over cooked fish. Almost burnt batter. Gone in the bin.

Arrived on time, hot & tasty. lovely fish & chips, good thick mushy peas, a bit runny curry sauce for my taste, but overall well worth it, I will use again.

Food was really great and the portion sizes showed good value for the money I paid. My only, very minor, complaint was that the gravy was way too watery for my taste, but that's a personal thing! Will be back!

THE BEST FISH AND CHIPS AROUND ABSOLUTELY LOVELY

Good delivery but food poor. Pukka pie pastry case was hard. Chips were wisened and dry. Gravy was a bit tasteless and all in all food very unimpressive.

Paid for two portions of chips only recieved one not happy as we are a family of four

They was ok. But when I ordered My food they sent me a text that I couldn’t understand.

Driver kept ringing to ask were we were told him I couldn't hear him not happy with response will not be using this app again

The food is great here but there is always food missing from the order they never apologise when you ring up its just take it up with just eat the service is an absolute joke.

Sadly, I got a feeling the food wasn't fresh or stored properly. Maybe I was just 'lucky'

All i can say is wow first time i have ordered from here and it was first class the fish and chips were great tasting and portions size was great and the food was piping hot will order again its an a+++ from me

Foot was tasty but arrived not warm enough.

Best Fish & Chips!! My only complaint is that when ordering the cold cans of pop are always put on top of the Fish & Chips which often leaves then cold, certainly cold in places; so I leave the cold bits. Other than that I do love F&C from here!!

Food was not over an hr late it just wasn’t delivered at all. But they still took my money and refuse to refund it. Disgusting

Good food in good portions. Prepared well, packaged well and still hot upon arrival. Delivery man followed instructions for delivery. Will order again for fish & chips.

Good portions, arrived quick but fish was very dry and mainly batter

One small curry sauce missing, other than that all good.

Lovely fresh fish and delicious chips. It came really quickly and was still piping hot.

i ordered a bag of chips and what i got was under half a bag of chips phoned them up all they could say was were sorry but there was nothing they could do about it . disgusting

Great tasting as always. Missed a bread cake off my order, tried calling to inform them but was engaged. Peas were just warm.

Food was amazing but was really let down by the delivery which took 1 hour and 40 mins. But I would order again.

Fish was huge.. lovely and fresh haddock. Crispy batter..could have fed two people on the large one. Chips not so good.. tasted old and soily... maybe the potatoes? Would buy the fish again. Arrived on time and piping hot.
