Good food ,Good taste and Good Quantity but very poor customer service. Customer service was so bad.

Not sure if this store is underrated or not, but seriously one of the suprising restuarants to visit especially when I've tried out the Lamb Shish and tried my sisters spicy chicken strips, it was a bit too spicy to be labeled as a mild spice. However, aside from that the foods delicious and will definitely visit again at some point. Interior was quite nice and the atmosphere with the staff cooking and working just adds it. The service was decent by standards and thanks for having me today Fresh & Grill Kitchen!

My order was marked as delivered. I rang and spoke to Alex. Before I mention the order was marked as delivered he became very rude towards me. I started with the order is late and before I say the next word he told me did u consider the traffic and weather. He was very rude to me. With the attitude I won't be using them again. Regular customer lost.

I've eaten here at least 5 times and the meat always tastes good, never over done and portions are reasonable. Their Perri sauce is lovely! There is no alcohol served so ask if you can bring your own.

Went in for a breakfast, Shockingly awkward greeting on arrival, looked at us as if to say why are you here, didn’t speak a word of English, said they are closed and showed us the door. If you are not open then update your opening times and menu items online and on the window menu. also don’t post your Instagram page with misleading breakfast videos you don’t serve up to. Avoid!!

Food has an average taste, tables not cleaned between the customers, not even a reasonable service!!! Not going again.

Dear fresh and grill people be polite with your customers where they are online or offline. Try to deliver your food properly and fully, if you are not able to do your deliveries properly please don’t try to do that. At least be responsible for the food which your delivery riders are doing. Try to do the deliveries fully rather than doing it partially. If there a complaint raises don’t blame your customers. I paid for the food which I have ordered and you people are blaming me for the delivery you have done partially.

A 10% service charge is added to your bill, yet the service is lacking. The staff simply deliver the food and vanish, without checking if you need anything else. Most of the time, I had to get up and track someone down just to request extra sauce or drinks. If the service isn't there, stop charging for it.

Food arrived cold and it took over an hour to get to us. When i called the restaurant they told me that it wasn't possible that the food was cold and that they can't do anything about it. This is the first time i've had food cold from there so didn't know service would be so bad. Will not be going back.

Food was good and the staff friendly. There are street parking and depend on your luck.

The hot peri peri chicken wings are sooo good with the fries, they are not shy with the sauce. The staff are respectful and It's nice what they've done with the place. 10/10

One of my favourite restaurant in Eastbourne. The service is always brilliant and the food is very tasty. The meat is perfectly marinated and cooked. Good options for children too. Yacine.

Delivery took over 40 minutes to arrive and when it did, somehow 2 smoothies were forgotten, driver said he’d ring and bring them over but did neither, very disappointing. EDIT: Smoothies showed up roughly an hour and a half after the order was placed, however the order was once again messed up as we are expected to drink the smoothies without straws?

Lamb skewer was perfectly cooked and marinated, the portion size was decent with the price we paid for. Nice service.

Delicious, way better than Nando’s

After waiting 45 minutes for my order i called the restaurant, the staff were overly rude telling me there’s nothing they can do and I have to wait longer, after a further 30 minutes passed I called again and was told that they cancelled my order (for no reason) and didn’t think they should inform me, before I could respond the staff member put the phone down on me and left me with no idea how to get a refund or why the order was cancelled. So rude, would never order from them again.

This is our second time here in 2 months, The food is very good quality, we ordered a mix platter, the meat is very tender and juicy, cooked to perfection, the best lamb shish and lamb chops I ever had. The service is amazing, very helpful, kind and cheerful waiters. Good food, good service and relaxed atmosphere what else could you ask for. Highly recommended. I will definitely be visiting again.

The food is always missing and undercooked food

The lady behind the counter was very welcoming. We were seated promptly - there were eight of us; we had just come after sightseeing at the seven sisters Birling pass. Great furnishing and interiors. What amazing taste, fresh, top quality and great service. We ordered a wide variety of dishes - everyone of them was great. Cannot recommend this place enough, and it doesn’t serve alcohol which is a bonus for those that don’t want to be around alcohol (religious reasons, dry January etc). Once again - amazing service and a miracle find in Eastbourne - please visit and support this business. All the drinks were amazing too including the mocktails!! Thank you we will definitely visit again when in the area.

My husband and I popped in on a weekend away. We heard someone outside talking about how good the food was and it did not disappoint. Great customer service, perfectly seasoned and cooked food. Lamb chops were amazing.

They offering eat in and after few minutes they said we all reserved, but they was lying there is only two table reserved. His name Ali I thing so.

These guys are really pulling the wool over peoples eyes and unfortunately people are so easily fooled. Everything they sell is of the same quality as your local kebab shop. The chips, mozerella sticks,onion rings etc...its all frozen stuff. The food is alright, but what theyve done is dress up kebab quality food and put it on nice looking plates and tarted up the shop and its enough to fool people into paying much more money for something they could get just around the corner if they were willing to have it served in paper or plastic. This isnt restraunt quality food. Nobody that classes themself as a restraunt should be tipping things out of a frozen bag, into a deep fryer abd charging you over the top because they have nice plates.

I’ll be honest, this is not a restaurant we’d usually visit however we didn’t have many options We sat down just needing to eat some food after a long hike not expecting much, however the service was amazing and the food was so delicious. I would say the two waiters we had were the highlight, they were very kind and served us some tea on the house (didn’t get their names but hopefully they know who they are) The food was great too, we had 1/2 chicken and Lamb Kofta with some pitas and sides as well as ayran. For desert we had warm baklava served with ice cream, it’s one of the best I’ve had and I’ve had a lot I would definitely recommend!!

Customer service was top notch , was attended to by a fantastic Ethiopian guy , atmosphere and decor 10/10. But the meals and drinks was nothing to write home about, we left disappointed.

We found this place by accident and I'm so glad we did ! It was my husband's birthday and we wanted a nice lunch with our daughter. The food is fantastic and the service is impeccable. I spilt my pepsi everywhere and it was mopped up and replaced very quickly and with no fuss (although I was embarrassed). The lovely gentleman was attentive and gave us some beautiful Turkish Tea for afters! We had the cold Meze to start which was delicious ...some of the best hummus we've had ...then chicken shish all round and I'm ashamed to say we left some as we were stuffed! Beautiful seasoned meat and very fresh salad . We will definitely be back x

Over hour and a half to arrive. No call to say was delayed. We called them. Asked them to throw in a salad as a goodwill gesture for the delay, delivery guy tried to charge for it. Unpleasant service. Food cold. Will never use again!!!

I visited this restaurant with my wife and tried the mixed grill. We also enjoyed some Turkish tea. The atmosphere was pleasant, and the service was good. The mixed grill had a variety of flavorful meats, and the portion size was satisfying. Additionally, the restaurant had a nice decor, and the toilets were clean, enhancing the overall experience. The Turkish tea added a nice touch, and we had a delightful time. We would consider returning.

Had a family dinner at this place and we’re very happy with our stay. The place was very cozy but not busy and staff were friendly and immediately attended us to get seated. Most of us ordered the Grilled Flame 1/4 Chicken and it was very good. The Chicken was tendered and grilled to perfection and very tasty. The Yellow Rice has a good flavor and the Coleslaw was also good. It helps to minimize/relieve your mouth from the spicy flavor. I highly recommend this place to try.

Ordered takeaway from here, two “large” kebabs. It was a tiny pitta with 5 chunks of chicken, soggy cold chips and the salad was stale and tasted unwashed. It was just lettuce and a minute amount of cabbage. No onion, no tomato, no freshness whatsoever. I paid £34 for two kebab “large” meals and it was gross

Food is lovely we order from here alot but they have forgotten parts of our order, they then ask to add it to next time we order or it will then it takes 45 minutes to deliver the rest of our order by then everyone has finished and someone is left eating alone or food will get cold this is not the first time it has happened and it is really unacceptable and I'm very upset about this. And it's a pity as we do like the food but it's unacceptable service as now food is getting cold waiting for the rest 😡

Food is good but the service was too worse . Especially in the night time.

I have always loved the chicken from fresh & grill kitchen I was almost regular with my online orders from fresh & grill Only recently they had this transformation with new decor which I liked a lot to add on the atmosphere for dinning in. I tried their breakfast & brunch menu for the first time with their limited time 50% discount offer and I would say, I wasn't at all impressed this time. Maybe because you guys have set higher expectations from your lunch and dinner menu. My personal preference would be your specialty grilled chicken. I think you should stick with your traditional lunch and dinner menu, i absolutely love that. I expected a fusion of your traditional touch to the brunch options but wasn't expecting this. (I expected you'll offer things like chicken sandwiches or wraps on smaller portions) I think to promote your dinning experience you guys can do like a taster menu - like a platter where customers can have a taster chicken options on reduced price - if it's for dining promotion for limited time.

Took a lil detour while returning from the Seven Sister Cliffs as we were really hungry and ended up here in a nice and cozy restaurant which had just reopened for the day and we were perhaps the first customers! The first thing that I noticed was that the Chefs seemed delighted to have their opening innings so quickly! Lol! We did quite an extensive order for a family of four and yet we were served so quickly. We enjoyed the food, the drinks and also their complementary Turkish tea! We ve been to quite a few Turkish restaurants and we were expecting the same old mix of food , but we really loved the rice they served here which was sumptuous. Overall, 5 STARS!! To the Chefs, to the young lady who served us, to the ambience and the FOOD!! Keep it up!!!

Highly disappointing chicken is undercooked far too often the last 5 times we’ve ordered the chicken isn’t cooked properly this shouldn’t be happening at a restaurant that specialises in chicken used to be a regular but not anymore

I do have to say, truly shocking. My family, friends, partner & I used to love a chilled evening in fresh & grilled, or a takeaway. Good quality easy food at a reasonable price, in a relaxed atmosphere. Since the decoration I’ll be honest it’s turned us right off. It’s not the place it used to be. Instead it’s uncomfortable and awkward atmosphere and the prices have tripled for the exact same menu and exact same food cooked by the exact same people, in the exact same place. The meal for 4 I paid just under £70 for last month would now cost over £200. For the location, staff and food it just really isn’t worth it. A glorified overdressed kebab shop, essentially.

AVOID!! AVOID!! AT ALL COSTS!! !!AVOID!! Terrible customer service from waitress, nonchalant attitude, looks like they employ students who couldn't care less. Made to wait 25 minutes before my order arrived, considering I was the only diner in an otherwise empty restaurant. Fish not even marinaded in the slightest and undercooked how that's possible by a chef, I'll never know. And to top it off, I ordered haddock but was served panga fish (the type of frozen fish you buy from your grocers). Complained to no avail. And for icing on the cake, was charged a £3.70 service charge for a non-existent service. ONCE AGAIN!. AVOID!! AVOID!! AT ALL COSTS!! !!AVOID!! Will be reported Eastbourne Borough Council Environmental health officers.

The staff are very knowledgeable about the menu, food was lovingly grilled in front of our eyes and it is delicious.

My go to restaurant for lunch or dinner. Food is always spot on and service is very good, never been dissapointed and best thing of all it saves me time looking for a place with halal food. Recently renovated and looks very nice, menu changed slightly but still good. My only gripe is that i find it strange that staff sit and eat at one of the tables when it is quiet, it doesn't bother me i just find it strange. There's a reason i always take visiting family here, my favourite restaurant in Eastbourne, cosy and consistent.

Really bad service. We come here very often and this time ordered the same as before and both chicken burgers were PINK. Called as I assumed they would resolve and apologise straight away but instead they said WE would have to come and bring the burger back to them and pick up a new one?! As you can imagine I did not fancy another burger after seeing this and they said they won’t refund me the money. Also still no apology for sending raw food out. Terribly bad service for a restaurant. Will not be returning after this.

I had a chicken burger with chips. It was fantastic, the chicken was juicy and well seasoned. The bread was great as well. And so we’re the chips. Would love to come Back again.

They put all the wrong sauces in the wraps then said I was lying in the phone. I’m allergic to chilli so I cannot have hot sauce hence why I asked for plain. So rude never again

I went the hotel today , we were 3 people and we ordered half piri piri chicken and one quarter chicken with 3 plates of rices and after we ordered the waitress told me that the policy of this hotel is changed , you should order 3 meals you can’t order half chicken for 2 people, and I said my partner don’t want chicken he only needs rice but she told we can’t do that you need to order for 3 people. I said it’s upto the customer what they wanted to eat and she said the owner changed so it’s the new Policy .If you check the menu you will get to know the reason, they try to make more money looting from the customers about their fake Policy.

Ordered chicken shish and strips meal I order from here all the time and was only delivered small even though I paid for large rang up to complain and the female manager had a right go at us shouting down the phone that we are trying to get something for free I explained I paid for a large chips on both meals and she still kept shouting at me if I could of been bothered to I would of drove down there and thrown the food back at them I've been a loyal customer for atleast 3 years and they treat me like this there is no way I'm ordering from them again she is so rude Ive had it before when I rang up she is rude but never have I heard them speak like this and call me a liar when it's there in black and white what I have paid for I even offered to send her a photo of what I have actually received you have lost custom here.

We order from here all the time been a loyal customer for atleast 3 years with weekly orders but ordered tonight and paid for large chips on both meals and they came as regular so I phoned up and the female manager was shouting down the phone to us calling us liars this is not how you treat customers it was there in black and white what we had paid for and I even offered to send a photo in of what I received but she still kept shouting at us and said maybe order more next time all I wanted is what I had paid for the chicken shish portion was poor you used to get a decent amount of chicken now it's small pieces and less of them but I didn't complain about that I was after what I paid for. I will not order from here again there is plenty other shops around and there is no way you should be letting her run your shop she has no customer service skills atall.

Genuinely this has to be / was and still is my absolute favourite place to eat in the whole of East Sussex, there are loads of piri shops and grilled chicken places but the taste here is unmatched, I have to leave another fantastic review as this is a treat when I get to come here !

We went there to get some dinner. I ordered the half chicken piri piri, and I wasn’t impressed. It tasted like boiled chicken with lots of sauce poured over it, despite them having a large barbecue burning. I told them about this and they said that they do steam their chicken first! However, it seems that mine was 90% steamed and 10% on flame. Wouldn’t recommend the chicken. My wife had the mixed kebab and that was good, although the kofte wasn’t particularly great.

Ordered mix grill which was nice. Burger was nice too but the chicken wasn't grilled. It tasted like boiled and grilled a couple of minutes. Waitress were very Friendly. The place is clean and halal

I ordered their Chicken XL burger meal (burger, chips and drink £9.20) Chicken breast was fresh, good quality meat (halal), good portion size, tasty. Service was good. Looked around the area and this seemed like the best place to eat, glad I came here.

Ordered grilled calamari and it came in breadcrumbs it should state that as I have allergies and wanted drilled like stated very disappointed And when I called up to say they didn't offer much of an explanation ☺️

You guys know who this is. We’ve been ordering from here for 3 years plus, and this order was the best of all. My partner had the chicken Shish and it was seasoned amazingly and cooked through but still tender. My wrap was sealed throughout and exactly the same with cheese throughout plus the sides were incredible. I called the chef to praise him. It was genuinely that good. Keep this up and you’ll have regular customers week in, week out. Great work guys!

Used to have small issues with these guys, but recently they’ve turned it around. Food coming by has gone from good to amazing. Long delivery to short. Just got 2 burgers from them with sides and I live 3 miles away, everything is still piping hot and tastes amazing. Thanks guys. Keep doing your thing!

One of the worst place to place an order for the food delivery, after one and half hour they cancelled my order. Waisted my time
