Franganos in Wakefield

I had chicken salad and chips. Gary had a double chicken burger. Chose mild sauce... had a kick. Place was immaculate. Service was quick. I was really impressed

Best chicken place in halifax, lovely staff and more than capable chefs, chicken is tender and variation with spice is on point, been going here for the past 2 years and not once has it disappointed me. Affordable, healthy and delicious.

Have collected and also had take-outs from here and it's always spot on. So much nicer than Nandos and half the price

Don’t waste your hard earned money here. Food less than standard. Very poorly re-heated chicken served, which is worrying considering how easy it is to get food poisoning. Ordered sides of garlic bread and sweets potato fries. Don’t fully remember the cost £2 something for 2 tiny pieces of garlic bread, and £1.80 for 1 sweet potato, plus a tiny bit. This was for my partners birthday. First and last visit for me for sure.

The best chicken you can get in West Yorkshire Nice and clean place, would Highly recommend will defo go again with family

I'm sick of getting a take-out and the chips/fries are NOT fresh!! Apart from that everything else is always really nice. We get alot of food from here and MOST of the time it is the same.. C'mon lads! Get your act together or you'll be on your asses soon!!

Always really tasty and cooked really well. I always get the chicken strips, spicy rice and salad and it's amazing! I think it's better than Nandos (and cheaper)

It offers a reasonable alternative to Nandos with their copy of Peri Peri chicken . The portions are bigger than Nandos but it's not as tasty . The rice has a strange smell to it . The restaurant itself was very grubby and old until a recent refurbish . The kitchen still needs a revamp and a good scrub . The cleanness is the thing they have to concentrate .

Really grubby even cutlery. Food all over the floor. Table had split down middle. Don't expect Bollywood music in Portuguese venue. Ordered hottest chilli food but it was proper bland. Huge plate for small lunch. Never again.

Don't expect service or tidy this place is just brilliant for food! Priced very cheap too I always go for half chicken with rice and a portion of grilled chicken strips and it's about 10£ tastes amazing too

Don't bother, forgot my order, took 30 mins+ to cook again at which point others had finished - got it to take away and discovered they'd scammed me with a single rather than double burger. Won't go again.

The decor is poor, the service is average, you wouldn't give it a second glance from the outside, they can't even get their own address right on Trip Advisor (it's in Halifax not Wakefield)...but every time I work in Halifax I eat my lunch there. The flavour is second to none in Peri-Peri chicken, the price you pay and the size of the portion doesn't add up (£4.60 for pitta and wedges) "best in the business"
