All staff were friendly and welcoming, and the food was delicious and plentiful. The restaurant was busy with a good atmosphere. Notably, families celebrating birthdays it was evident that staff had done all they could to ensure everyone was having a good time. Yes the decor is outdated but who cares as long as food and staff are tip top.

Went here on a Friday evening, staff welcoming and friendly with a good sense of humour. Attentive but not overbearing. We had a variety of dishes and some had a set menu. The food was absolutely excellent and they managed to cater for vegetariana and gluten free. Would thoroughly recommend

We have been going to the 4 Seasons restaurant for years and always have a lovely meal when we go we're never disappointed. Everything cooked to order and they have a good choice of food and especially vegetarian and vegan food. All the staff are very friendly. If you have 10/12 people it's nice to be able to sit at a round table instead of a long table where you can't talk to everyone.

Booked for our special wedding anniversary, just the two of us. ( for a change) First class service and first clas food. The staff were friendly, polite and very efficient and we could not fault the food, it was one of the best food experiences we have ever had. Definitely recommended.

We visited 1st September for ‘date night’ that very rarely happens with a busy life and kids. we couldn’t have picked a better place. Beautiful food, great service and lovely peaceful relaxing atmosphere. Nothing seemed to much trouble. We both said one of the best meals we have ever had. lovely little hidden gem! After living in the area 8 years this is the first time we have tried this place. We will definitely be back very soon.

We always go to this restaurant after visiting many different Cantonese/ Chinese this is outstanding in quality of food, friendliness of the staff, and the atmosphere is second to non. The food is always spot on and very very tasty. Both myself and my husband go as often as we can because we feel welcome and relaxed never rushed no matter how busy they get..

Came up from London to join family in celebration of dad's 91st birthday. The team who own the restaurant are consistently warm, welcoming and accommodating (we were late and messed up the numbers) The restaurant was warm and cheerful and nicely busy. Service was exceptional. The food is always delicious. The vegetarian options have substantially increased including a fantastic combination option. The carnivores were also in heaven, the prawn dishes described as sublime. A lovely impromtu "happy birthday" with a candled ice cream cake finished the night beautifully. A wonderful evening, thankyou.

We cannot fault this restaurant. Jane and her husband are excellent host's. The food is to die for , there is so much choice and all very tasty. All their staff are very friendly and professional, we are made welcome and relaxed . We eat out regularly and when we choose Cantonese food there is no other place better than the four seasons Dinnington I usually struggle with food in restaurants because I do not eat Chicken or fish, I do not have that problem here the choice is so varied, We have never had a bad meal yet there. The atmosphere there is brilliant most people are regulars and are friendly , I would recommend a visit if you have not already been , you will enjoy . Try their crispy shredded beef you will not be disappointed

Fancied a change from our local restaurants. Had a set meal which had 3 starters with 5 mains plus rice which was very plentiful. The food was nice and hot and very delicious. Service very good. Will be visiting again in the near future. Can certainly recommend.

Visited this lovely restaurant many times, the food and service are always excellent and nothing is too much trouble. It was good to see that they were still cleaning thoroughly between guests and wearing masks, felt very comfortable and safe.

Visited with my husband and grandson. The cripy duck starter was the most tasty I can remember having and it was excelently shredded at the table. We all had different dishes and thoroughly enjoyed them and tried Singapore rice for the first time (delicious) - generous portions. Service was very friendly and helpful. More people should try it!

Well presented food by very pleasent staff, a good selection of drinks. A self collection service is offered which once telephoned in usually takes 45/50 minutes. Well worth a visit.

Very very nice meal as always the crispy duck was exceptional and so was the combination starter the only downside is that it is a very Coldplay so you do need to get wrapped up but that's the only thing I can say everything else is very very good the staff are always nice and the food isc always well presented and good class of food and hope to be back soon miss Victoria twibell

Order cooked quickly and although not a cheap meal , was very tasty and plentiful. The crispy duck was lovely and the chicken chow mein was the best we have had for a long time.

Once again we had mince pork and lettuce leaves , duck ,pancakes, sauce,cucumber, spring onions , cantanesse chicken, chicken curry rice and salt and pepper chips . Cooked to perfection

We had heard good reports and so thought that we would give the take-away food a try - (we had been away for a couple of nights and so the fridge was pretty empty). What a disappointment! the Singapore chow mein was so dry and lacked any kind of flavour, the special curry was pretty awful too, as were the noodles which again were very dry. Not sure what had gone wrong but don't think we will be using it again.

Ate here recently for a family meal and the food was of the highest quality. We all ordered something different and it was great to try each others choices and each one was cooked to a very high standard with high quality ingredients. The staff were great, very attentive, polite and efficient without being obtrusive. If I could offer any advice as to how I would improve things, I would prefer a high quality draught lager such as Tsing Tao or Kingfisher instead of the Carling which in my mind has had it's day in a high quality restaurant such as this. Thanks to all for a very nice evening, we will be back very soon.

We heard lots about this place and there’s lots of good reviews , I went today 12/09/18 I ordered beef in oyster sauce, this dish sorts out the good chefs from the bad in my years of experience .. this dish is usually too salty or too thick which shows the chef is not tasting and just using their judgment with a giant spoon to add ingredients.. the meat was tough and old tasting not a good experience... we also ordered salt and pepper chicken which was too salty , the spring roll were tough and slightly burnt.. the fried rice was so bland and cardboard like , just the usual Chinese standards these days.. I gave it 3 stars but seeing as I ate a quarter of the rice , dumped the beef it goes to 2 star and that’s for the staff.. not for us this place, it is the best around these days but that says a lot about the standards these days

Quite a few people still don't know that you can get take-away from one of the best Asian restaurants in the area. Food is always nice. Never got an order mixed up or wrong. Recommend........

We’ve lived locally for 20 years and feel gutted that we did not visit sooner! Incredibly friendly staff, amazing food in lovely surroundings. The staff couldn’t do enough for us and the food was excellent. We have just ordered a takeaway as the meal on Wednesday was so good. Can’t Thankyou enough for making my birthday special and Thankyou for the bottle of fizz. Our friends from Mansfield were equally impressed and we will all be back again soon . Thankyou so much xx

We have lost count of the times we have visited The Four Seasons in Dinnington, each time the same great food , great atmosphere and very attentive staff without being intrusive.

We went with high expectations given the trip advisor reviews and we were not disappointed! Food was delicious, especially the crispy duck and we would definitely go again, and recommend to others. Staff were attentive and very pleasant.

Visited the four seasons based solely on TripAdvisor reviews. We weren't disappointed with any aspect of our visit. Greeted and served by friendly, efficient & helpful staff. We opted for a set meal for four in order to try the variety that this option offered. The generously apportioned mixed starter platter set the tone of what was to come. Crispy duck pancakes arrived next. More than enough duck to go around. Steaming hot chicken and corn soup. Then the main course arrived! Mixed seafood in birds best. Chicken in black bean sauce. Beef and mushrooms. Mixed vegetables. Chilli pork & a bowl of rice. Everything tasted wonderful. Add a bottle of chardonnay and two and a half pints of bitter for a bill of £114. Great value I thought. Couldn't eat all that was put in front of us but to be fair we didn't leave much.

Not only is the Four seasons Cantonese resterants known as one of the best in South Yorkshire they also do takeaways. Which are to the same standard as their eat in.Never fails to impress with their qaulity.Excellent

We visited The Four Season on Friday night and pleased to say it was very busy, we choose a set menu but asked if we could choose some different soups, this was not a problem. The hot and sour soup was exceptional and can certainly recommend it. The service was a little slow but this was not a problem as we were there to enjoy the evening and were not in a hurry. All the dishes were very nice and a great evening was had by all. We have used this restaurant many times and have never been disappointed, certainly worth a visit.

This place is an absolute gem. The food is as good as anything I've had in any Chinese restaurant the UK, and the staff are so polite and helpful. There's really no fault with this establishment (except that it's too far from my home for frequent visits and I can't blame them for that!). Go soon, you won't regret it.

We've had a few takeaways from Four Seasons over recent months and without exception they have all been freshly cooked and delicious. We've placed our orders over the phone and the wait times have been reasonable usually around 15 minutes. The food is cooked to order so is always fresh and hot. Won't be using any other local Chinese takeaways as the cleanliness is of a high standard too and this isn't always the same with the local takeaways I have visited. I think it is a little more expensive than the other takeaways but well worth it for the standard is much higher.The restaurant is very nice too.

We eat out a lot and can honestly say we have never had a disappointing meal at the Four Seasons. Probably the best Chinese restaurant in South Yorkshire. Forget the location just come and enjoy the tastiest food. Not the cheapest but certainly the best value for money. What more could a Yorkshireman want!!!

...Particularly the young lad, who was obviously new to the job and still in training, what he may yet lack in finesse, he certainly makes up for with his enthusiasm!We went here very much as a last minute booking and had a very enjoyable meal, the duck course was particularly good and tasty and can be recommended, but i wish we had not had the mixed starters as by the time we came to the main course we were feeling quite full, perhaps next time we would just have the crispy duck and pancakes as the starter.The quality of the food is something of a surprise as it is not situated in the most salubrious of locations, but our experience was good, with a nicely appointed lay out and tables not too near to each other, but the friendliness of the staff certainly make this a place to return to in the future.Tip: Small car park, suggest arriving early otherwise you will need to park on the road.

I order a take away Chinese from the four seasons it's a little more costly than other take aways on the area but I wanted try it and to be honest it was just the same as all Chinese takeaways the portion are smaller than most but I would go again if others around dinnington were shut for the night Maybe the staff could be a little more friendly too as you arrive to collect they do not deliver the lady at the front of house was mardy and never gave a smile just said sit here ! And here is your order please pay? Oh well

We have visited the Four Seasons twice so far but will be back. We had a family meal there on Thursday this week for our grandson's 16th birthday. The food was delicious, the service attentive but not obtrusive and the whole evening was perfect. I also loved the linen tablecloths and napkins.

Visited Four Seasons on 16/10/16, party of eight people having a variety of dishes, including garlic mushroom starter, prawn cocktails and meat balls all were first class.Mains including mixed grill, lamb chops, salmon, chicken parmo all meals were first class, well presented, piping hot and fresh garnishes to accompany, would recommend the garlic potatoes.Atmospher was very cosy and nothing was too much trouble, will be returning again once we visit Whitby.

We came here of the of chance on Saturday at about 6.30 for something to eat with my Mother in Law .Lovely restaurant fresh flowers on all tables proper linen on all tables and plenty of attententive staff.We got seated straight away Drinks came pretty soon after and the waitress took our order starters and mains and a big bowl of rice . We ordered wine which came in a cooler and was regularly topped up by the waitress .The food came it was all hot and presented very well . The Four seasons got busy as we are our meal so must be a popular place .Yes I would return and yes I would recommend .

I went with 4 friends more or less by accident - and what a very fortunate accident. The decor and service were both very good; beaten only by the food. Two of us have spent a long time living in East Asia and we both loved the food which was light and fresh. If I'm in the area again I would go out of my way to visit. Thank you for a great evening.

Went for a meal on spurr of the moment. We have been before but not for a long time. We were the only people in at the time. The food and service was amazing not too much just enough. I would highly recommend a visit. We will definitely return.

I booked the whole restaurant for my 5oth Birthday on the 12th of April. There where 80 of us in total and Jane (the owner) made the whole evening absolutely perfect.Firstly the reason I wanted to celebrate at the four seasons was the food here is simply better than any other Chinese I've ever eaten in. I have been to many Chinese restaurants in the past but if you don't mind paying a little bit more than average you certainly get much better tastier food.We had an assortment of dishes for everyone to share which is the way I like to eat at both Chinese and Indian restaurants.Absolutely everything is delicious but the stand out items for me are for starters Garlic King Prawns, Salt and Pepper Squid and Mussels in Black Bean. For Main Sweet and Sour King Prawns, Fillet Steak Cantonese Style, Chicken, Cashew Nuts and Asparagus in a birds nest.This restaurant in Dinnington over the past few years has just got busier and busier attracting people from far and wide as the reputation has spread, no need to go to Bawtry etc when the best is in Dinnington

We arrived and were waiting some time to be seated. But once sat we were surprised how quickly everything was done with a family run business. The drinks and starters came out simultaneously and were very filling. The mains were delightful and you had a choice of eating with traditional chopsticks or knife and forks. My only argument would be the prices... You can go into Sheffield for the same level of food and it be half the price... But all in all better quality of food than expected and a lovely quaint restaurant.

The Hygiene Rating displayed on the wall is an old one and shows 4 stars in reality if you look on the Food Hygiene Web Site they only currently score 2 stars!!!!

It has been a number of years since I dined here due to our relocation, and I was amazed that, on arrival, we were immediately recognised and greeted by the lovely, friendly owner like we were long lost friends. That level of service was maintained throughout the evening by all the staff, and it was a real pleasure to be so well looked after. The food was faultless. Delightful crispy duck was accompanied by a more than ample quantity of pancakes (a personal gripe of mine in some other Chinese restaurants) All of our main courses were delicious and well presented, piping hot, freshly made and of more than ample quantity. It really was a pleasure to dine here once again. Many thanks to everyone at Four Seasons.

Celebrated our daughters 18th birthday here in July 2015 then again for a family meal Septembe 2015. Excellent food and service very friendly. Will visit again.

Attended a party hosted by dear friends together with about 70 other people.Surroundings fabulous. Great venue and really nice inside with a waiting area and a separate bar area. Very nice.Food was served quickly and efficiently and was absolutely superb!Initially there were 6 starters, prawn toast, crispy seaweed, spare ribs, spring rolls, chicken satay and fish/squid.Followed by crispy duck in pancakes.Followed by fried rice, noodles, beef and green peppers, chicken and cashew nuts, chicken curry, sweet and sour king prawns, and a couple of other dishes I cannot recall.All was hot, tasty and beautiful. A fabulous party, with fabulous food in a fabulous location. Thank you to Nige and Mandy for a fabulous evening all round!!

Rang on Friday 4/3/16 to book a table for my wife and myself that evening, was able to book for an early meal. We decided to have a set menu for 2. The food was beautiful and plentiful. The staff were attentive and pleasant, and there was no problem about letting us take the remains of our meal home. Excellent value for money.

Our second visit to this restaurant.I have to say the service was not as good this time in fact quite poor it wasn't even that busy.But the food was excellent and value for money.It also let down by the toilets they where freezing cold and strong odourdisabled toilets blocked by cleaning materials.Probably wont visit again

Great special starters lovely mixed platter. The chicken satay and noodles were worth a return visit. Waiting and bar staff lovely and deserve praise. As it was turned 21.30 surprised small children running round tables- when staff asked them to sit down as hot food the father became irrate shouting he would deck staff if they spoke to his kids again. The sign of good parenting no consideration for their own children's safety or set ground rules when in public feel a rule to say children will have to leave by 8pm may be beneficial and then I would return without hesitation.
