The 412 is a lovely little cafe with very friendly staff, who made you feel very welcome. Food was lovely, fresh and hot. Our only issue was it was cold inside the building.. more heating is needed.

I came here for brunch with my mum and sister for the first time today. We were greeted by the owner who was lovely. The food was really good and the coffee I had was one of the best I’ve had in ages! It has a really nice atmosphere and the staff were all so nice. We’d definitely recommend a visit.

Quite a nice little compact shop/cafe but not worth the hype. Sat on cold metal chairs in a chilly room. Nice enough coffee but a tuna melt toastie was served with slightly burnt toast. The bread in the bakery section was from Greenhalghs bakery and not a local bakery as advertised. A pleasant refreshment stop but we won't be rushing back.

Ordered 2 breakfasts, a coffee and large tea. When the drinks were served, asked for some additional hot water to enjoy my tea as I prefer. Was told that would be £1. Hot water arrived in a small cup not even a pot! Manager said that is what it costs them…outrageous, poor customer service, won’t be going again!

What a lovely treat, cosy coffee shop ideal for brunch. Cakes looked good too so will be back for coffee and cake. Service friendly and attentive.

We visited this little gem twice on our visit to the area. Wonderful, inventive food options, great coffee and a really friendly atmosphere. A really good eatery…well worth top marks! A great addition with new staff and management to a lovely, quaint village.

Some of the worst sausages I've ever tasted; full of large lumps of gristle and tasteless. They also need to invest in branded tomato and brown sauce as my children's sandwiches were made inedible by them (I tried them too and couldn't not agree)

Busy place in the town centre with friendly staff and a busy vibe. Seating is comfortable in the booths and it is great seeing the activity in the open kitchen. Tasty food and not too expensive although it would be good to see some veg included with the mains rather than just fries or salad. We paid extra for veg and got pepper and aubergine. Not everyone's cup of tea. I'll ask what it is next time. All in all an enjoyable experience and worth a visit.

Lovely quaint cafe serving a fairly wide selection of food. You need to book a table. Formerly a bakery in the 1960/70s my auntie Phyllis made the bread and cakes.
