Female owner is rude and ignorant. Abusive and speaks fo people like they are rubbish despite the fact people keep her business open. Doesn’t understand covid regulations Poor hygiene

We enjoy this chip shop as the fish is freshly cooked and always good value. They have pies also and my favourite pea butties.

For a small town to have a fish & chip shop of such quality only makes me feel sad for the people who haven't heard of it as they are yet to sample the best fish & chips bar none.

This place is amazing, the que out the door every time it opens shows how popular and great value this place is. The fish is one of my favourites and the batter is so good. The portions are large so be hungry when you visit and make sure you are prepared to wait as it's always busy. Once you have been to Harrys five star chip shop you will not go anywhere else. Enjoy I will be returning on a monthly basis

The food isn't as tasty as it used to be and the woman owner is so incredibly rude I wouldn't use it even if it was really good food. She is ignorant, abrupt and will accuse you of owing he money even if you barely go in there! She kept telling my Grandmother that she owed her money from last time and getting really nasty which resulted in her having extra money off her every time for nothing until she stopped going there, Disgusting!

The best chippy in Abertillery without a doubt. Very popular during lunch times often sells out of some items (patties) Limited opening in the evenings till about 8pm so no mad rush of the intoxicated.

This is the best chip shop around. The products are all cooked fresh and are full of flavour. There is always a que of people waiting for the food it's that good. The food is always pipping hot and delicious. You really need to visit this chip shop to understand how good it really is.

Its been a known fact for a number of years now that five star is the best chippy in Abertillery but there opening times are weird and they don't deliver food is amazing though.

Went there at 9:20 they close at ten. Told abruptly no fish left. Vinegar put on bag of chips which I just wanted salt. Server put chips in a tray I asked to make sure vinegar was not nearby she went ballistic on me. Took food home cold hard horrible chips. Used this place for years but never again.

It's okay for cheap chips! Not the best chip shop you will find, but it's okay, the lady who owns it is ignorant and unhelpful but you can't have everything!

Plenty of fish & chip shops in the town but this one's always busy.Although your usual standard food (pies, pasties, curry sauce etc. etc) the fish is always freshly cooked, so expect a few minutes wait.Good value for money.
