Best chips and great service and value for money

Curry sauce and mushy peas hadn't been warmed properly and were nearly cold. Fish wasn't very nice. Chips were OK.

I will never recommend their jacket potato’s I wouldn’t even pay £2 for the one I had it was hard and not even worth the money, I think it’s absolutely disgusting charging that amount for, the rest of my order was nice but it has gone way to expensive and will never order from there again

Couldn’t fault the food here. Delivered at a good time, fresh and hot. Saveloy was a little cold but everything else spot on. Plenty of salt and vinegar too.

I wanted a cod for 10 pound odd not a gold fish disgusting not happy at all want be ordering again from here!!!

Asked for all sauces on one kebab and garlic bbq and mayo on the other. Both turned up with mayo mint and bbq? Kebab meat was cold but chips warm which tells me the Kebab meat had been hanging around a while. We will not been eating the kebabs and requesting a refund for them. Takeaway welcome to collect them before they are binned!

Food turned up sooner than the estimated time which was great. It was well packaged, tasted great, and the portions were generous. Will definitely order again.

FANTASTIC VALUE FOR MONEY. I ordered a large sausage and I got an unusually large WHOPPER. Seriously this thing was humongous I don't know how it fit in my car never mind the box!

Large cod, but more batter than fish. As i only eat the fish I did not get a lot of fish. There is more fish on the ones you get from iceland. Very disappointed, for the price NOT value for money.

Lovely food,but everythings extortionate prices for a chipshop Regardless of the award winning status especially compared to other local chipshops which are on par for quality of food,for £3.55p you get a pathetic handful of chips terrible value for the money.

Fabulous fish, golden brown and crispy on the outside, and firm yet moist on the inside. Perfectly fried as usual. We have never been disappointed with this shop.

Hot delicious food as always. Asked for them to cool a plain sausage for my dog, and they did. Also left a lovely note on the sausage wrapper for my doggo. A+++++

Food was cold , delivery was long and late. I could ignite the lengthy wait if food was good but greesy undercooked chips and cold fish . Very disappointed . have had great food in the past.

Called fish bar up 6.10 for two fish and small chips can coke waiting and waiting so call back at 7.22 told me very busy we thought fair enough anyway delivered to us at 7.45 we would have not done feedback but there was a big problem with the order ONE fish small chips and can coke we want be order here again so quick what get us we told them twice on the phone

Food is cooked to perfection but portions are small especially the chips £4 odd for a handful, order cod but I'm sure it's haddock we receive most times and if you order more than one side expect one side

When ordering time said 30-45 after order it went to over an hour, then it was still late and cold. Definitely won't use them again not the first time been an issue

Although all if the stars are good the size of the fish is never worth 9.20 definitely overpriced.

The food is always FRESH, The batter is always crisp which I love. Everything is always 10/10 including the packaging, you can really tell it’s a well loved business, if you order I HIGHLY recommend the Hallumi sticks, they are honestly unreal, 3rd time ordering and never been disappointed. Yes it’s more pricey than the usual chip shop, but it’s not “any chip shop” it’s honestly the best!

We’ll ordered the order around 6ish in the evening for a delivery at 8. Order came at 8:30 was mostly cold so had to reheat the food. Ordered the battered black puddings to try was meant to receive 4 only received 2, jacket potato was cold and also the size of a new borns fist. I have bigger potato’s in the house and for the price is just a rip off. Definitely will think twice about ordering from this place again.

Excellent, hot meal of faggots, mushy peas and chips, and a corned beef pasty and chips. Speedy delivery by a pleasant and polite delivery lady. Thoroughly recommend this fish bar and the service they provide.

Ordered via the app had to ring the shop after an hour to be told it would be on the be next delivery run which meant I had too cook my daughter something else as it had gone past her bed time she was gutted as it was her choice for food that night and wanted chippy I could forgive a one off but the same has happened the last 3 times we've Ordered so sadly this will be our last

Food is always amazing and the staff are great only thing that let's them down is the delivery option both times we've tried it it's been an issue fully recommended this place just go pick it up ! Thought I'd give them another go been over an hour for delivery phone the shop to be told it will be after the ne t delivery 🤷‍♂️ really give up

It was great to receive my meal early and as usual it was hot, very good quality and tasty. The delivery lady was very friendly and courteous. Will order food from here again for sure!

First time of trying here as not long moved to the area and WOW the food was fantastic, a large chips was enough to feed four people, and the small fish was was cooked perfectly and an ideal portion. Also had a curry sauce which was delicious. Some sauces are watery, really thick or just taste spicy. This was a perfect accompaniment to the meal, will definitely return. Staff were friendly and staff and store were covid compliant. 10 out of 10

Nice food but I got over charged by about £12 I did question the bill but told it was correct although I knew it definitely wasnt.

The chicken curry rice and chips were fabulous, as indeed they always are. Highly recommend this shop. Friendly and efficient delivery service too.

Food is at very high standard, mostly have food delivered but last week my daughter popped into chip shop, she said staff are so helpful & friendly nothing was 2 much for them, wont go anywhere else now

Ordered at 5.30 for a 6.45 delivery but didn't arrive till 7.30. Not really acceptable. Will be collecting next time
