Fishnet in East Riding of Yorkshire

One person in front of me ,yet I waited 10 minutes for fish and chips to be fried .. Food it's self 3 stars only ...

Acceptable fish and chips on an empty stomach. But I wasn't very impressed. Fish could have been fresher. Staff were very nice and premises looked clean. But food was a bit of a let down.

Always great fish and chips and a fantastic service. In the Hull area this is my go to place for fish and chips followed by a short drive to Hessle foreshore. The fish net never disappoints

Stopped off here on way home after a long day on site in Hull - cooked to order - I had fish and chips (medium fish) - quite honestly some of the best fish and chips I've had (and I'm an old-ish git) - friendly staff

Fish bought as haddock seemed to taste more like Pollock!!!!

Used this chippy for years but recently noticed the fish as got considerably smaller but still extortionate prices . When asking for a LARGE fish you expect a LARGE fish on par with what you have had before ; I got a large & my partner got a medium fish with chips yet they were the same size . I have had a small fish from there bigger in the past! Its not a cheap meal therefore now use another " Sams" Boothferry Road Hessle . Also you might want to consider giving regular customers an incentive to stay regulars and ie keep them happy 👍🙏

One of the nicest fish and chips I've had for a long time. Better than Papa's. The gravy is good too. Give it a go.

One of the best fish,chips and peas I have every had the pleasure to experience and when I say fish it was more like a whale the size of it!!! The staff are very friendly and the service was outstanding, I would highly recommend a visit 😃

Ordered fish and chips. Unskinned haddock, a few bones, paper wrapping, and flattish batter. The price was very reasonable however, the staff attentive, and the food freshly prepared. (The rating from this review should be read with the foresight that I was raised in the Whitby area. So I have eaten some very good Fish and Chips over the years.)

Friendly staff and a good quality cheap bite to eat. Always good size portions.

Food not fried in beef dripping, so better for vegetarians ☺

Visited Fishnet in the afternoon of 05/10/2016. I was served by the owners. Tas and his wife. They were absolutely wonderful and friendly, I asked for a big fish, and chips.I was served a haddock the size of a whale and a monster portion of chips. The haddock was cooked to perfection, as were the chips The batter was really light and only coated on the fish.So unlike fish from other chippies the fish was not covered and deep in heavy batter. Altogether the fish and chips was really tasty.....the best i have ever had .It was so good i surprised myself by finishing it. and i did not have to eat till the next evening, I am happy to recommend Fishnet .

Called in 6th April 2015. The staff were very friendly, and the fish was excellent. The fish was actually cooked to order, so it didn't sit under a heat lamp for hours. The chips were OK, but overshadowed by the great tasting fish!
