The name caught my eye, first drink today perhaps? No, American football theme/vibe. No cask beers but very nice wine, too many televisions for my liking but locals chatting convivially. Restaurant open tomorrow (wednesday).

Not a bad little pub,wines fine,clean and comfortable but could do with some real ales,not one pub on Denny has any real ales,shame as all nice friendly pubs.

Lovely, homemade steak pie and Cajun chicken dinners. Would highly recommend if staying in or around Denny.

Brilliant food, great hospitality

My wife and I went for meal this afternoon, although it wasn't busy, we were still greeted warmly. The restaurant was cozy and welcoming, and the decor was really nice. Our server was a young lady called Caitlyn , who seated us and explained the rules due to Covid. My wife and I both had the homemade steak pie and apple pie and ice cream for dessert and we couldn't fault it,. Although you can't really go wrong with our choices, you still have to hit the mark, and the food did exactly that, the meal was outstanding!!, and we will definitely go back. P.S, as we paid by card, we forgot to give Caitlyn a tip, but when we go back I'll make sure she gets it, thank you for a lovely experience.

Zero atmosphere, opinionated loudmouths at the bar.

Went to the lantern restaurant which is attached to the first down pub. The staff are lovely and the food is great. Their menu is very reasonably priced and have a 3 course lunch for £8.50 advertised daily or you can choose from the main menu which is also read-only priced.

We were here after a funeral. Waiting staff very poor. We were short of spoons on our table but was told to go find some on other tables. Soup was burnt and the roll for your soup was bread triangles.

My experience 29/07/2014 of the function suite was excellent. Faultless service and great environment with great food and drink. I would strongly recommend it.

Was good 10-15 years ago, decor not changed since it opened, songbird killing it off.

It shuts on Valentines night, what a joke.
