I read so many good reviews about this fish ansd chip shop that I had to try it. I popped in today and ordered their Special Fish (2 pieces for £7.70), I was really hungry and looking forward to enjoying this, I live nearby so the food is still nice and warm when I get home. So disappointed, this batter wwas like eating gravel, totally unpleasant, when I could get throgh the batter to the fish there was another disappoitment, the fish was tastless (sometimes we can be unlucky with fish as it can depend on the fish itself), the fish content was low, and although I was very hungry, I could not bring myseldf to eat thes cond piece of very poor quality food, so into the bin it goes. Needless to say, I won't be giving anymore custom to the Bonnyton Cafe. I am not for writing critical reviews, but this 'special fish' was so bad that Ijust had to comment on how bad it was.

Thoroughly enjoyed the rolls and sausage and bacon from here the other day. Needed a warming in the cold wet weather and this wee kiosk was surprisingly good. Decent sausage and bacon prepared properly and served efficiently. If you are at the Bus Station go and check it out for yourself, you will not be disappointed
