It was a little bit slow, that's all

Might be a wee wait sometimes, but still great service

Lunchtime drive through and everyone was having to wait for food.

Drive through was managed well with quick service and all the food I asked for was in the bag.

Most times are okay, but they forget things far too often. This time they forgot the main meal, when we called the manager hung up on us. They also left onions on my food, which I am allergic too.

It's mcds pretty much standard 😊

Honestly such hit or miss. If its busy worth avoiding. Came back again from the drive through with items missing that I've paid for and juices have filled. Just seems no care is given at certain times!

Never seem to be able to make an iced caramel late, Milkshake machine conveniently hasn't been working for over a year, just absolutely lazy

They do worse coffee I've ever had it not just this place but loads im up down UK so if want a good coffee no go the food always hot very good staff at high level of standards very clean in store loos are always clean which is great job 😃

They get my order wrong more often than they get it right. Missing items are the most common, but sometimes its extra items that I can't eat.

Absolutely thee worst macdonalds around the staff are the most cheekiest of staff opened my wrap to find spit on it hair aswell missed half my order large juice was only filled to a small cup a think a report to there head office is needed or them shut down why spit on someone’s food and give them a large juice way it only filled up to a small cup size joke pure joke of a place

No tomato and still had tomatoe on it even though there was a label on the box good job I'm just picky and could pick it off and I'm not allergic it was busy though there were loads of uber orders not excusing them just giving the full picture easy mistake to make

Early February, minus 2° outside, colder inside. People seated at tables wrapped up in thick coats and woolly hats. Baltic air blasting through the premises' vents. So what better on a chilly winter night then than a warming burger? Sadly, the tepid, flaccid, ahem, Big Tasty failed miserably at warming the cockles of my heart or any other cockles belonging to my hypothermic anatomy. Through chattering teeth I managed to convey to the manager my concerns about contracting frostbite if I lingered any longer in his icy establishment. My fears, however, fell on deaf ears (probably because of his earmuffs). So I picked up my Big Tasty, exited into the Arctic night and ate my gruel at an outside table where, it has to be said, the ambience was considerably cosier than that endured inside the Armour Street igloo.

Had to order at the counter which obviously they don't want anymore. Was served by a zombie like member of staff who had an aversion to using speech as a method of communication. Tried the new fajita wrap which did not taste remotely Mexican or like a fajita? Chips were just warm when they arrived but soon transitioned to cold. All in all not a great meal.

I love mcdonalds always good food and service

Opens until late, good place to have a coffee if one needs to wait until transport etc. Few places in Kilmarnock are open that late.

Grabbed a bite to eat before the supermarket. Brunch was delicious and service was excellent

Asked for food to be hot as last time was cold was cold.Ordered chicken nuggets for kids that didn't come phoned and told you will get them next time or come on for them after paying delivery and couldn't leave kids ridiculous for the money they take should not be allowed.Avoid this place daylight robbery at this day and age.

Ordered a delivery to my work put on the address the exact location never received it as the delivery driver actually delivered it on the bypass by my work and took a pic and sent it to me tonsay he had delivered it.

Order is incorrect more than most of the time

Fast service and always great choice

One of the worst McDonald’s around. The inability to put 2 different burgers in a bag is outstanding, don’t order in here for just eat anymore since I ordered 2 Big Mac meals and a wrap and only the wrap turned up. Just ordered 2 meals, got home and one of the burgers is missing, honestly, ask your staff to pay a little bit of attention

Don't advertise something on the menu and not have it. False Advertising at its best.

Chips cold AGAIN. Yet AGAIN after 3 year's thought I'd get a chicken sandwich and fries and chicken nuggets All went in the bin cold 🥶 AGAIN. 3 ARMOUR STREET MUST BE THE WORST MCDONALD'S FOR COLD FOOD. I WILL NOT USE EVER AGAIN.

ordered via just eat last night a .mccrispy meal fries diet coke at just after midnight order arrive opened it to find 3 cold cheeseburgers and a coke!! not happy at all I don't even eat beefburgers hot or cold!

NO stars for McDonald's tonight. I had to click one star to make this post. Family spent over £40 on a delivery, and it was missing two items. Over an hour of phone calls before i eventually got an answer. The "Manager" was an utter disgrace. Fully of excuses. Took NO responsibility for his Team or Shop. No drivers available. No insured drivers. Not company policy. Staff can't double check orders before they are sent out. Nothing I can do about it. Not my fault. I'm not personally responsible. (It's your Team, mate and you're supposed to be in charge). Complete lack of customer focus. No attempt to think of or offer a solution. We odered in because I'm not fit to drive tonight so "you can come an pick it up" is no sodding use. All I wanted was for them to fix THIER mistake. Send me the food we had ordered and paid for. Its really NOT rocket science.

Myah was so friendly and kind, she helped me with my order. Would recommend visiting this restaurant just to see the amazing customer service.

First of all...The food here was delivered wrong..twice.... Second of all..The staff and manager didn't seem to care that there was people shouting and smoking in the restaurant Horrible

The food was rosten hot witch was great staff where very friendly

Chips were undercooked - burgers certainly did not look anything like pics displayed at order point. Wrapping was poor and we had to wait for the order. All in all disgusting.

Pancakes heated up too long in microwave, paper knife & fork not sturdy enough to cut the overheated & hard pancakes. Thankful didnt drive through as never gave us syrup! I avoid drive through here as they always get order wrong that one thing you can rely on here!

Most of times half of stuff is missing from order

Almost everytime we order through just eat there's an item missing, this can't be the fault of just eat as its not just eat drivers who pack the order up, they just bring it, however when you call to say an item is missing all you're told is that its an issue with just eat there's nothing that can be done, order from any other restaurants in kilmarnock and it this happened and you call to report it they have no issues sending a replacement item, thus happens at both this branch and the branch at the Q8 roundabout, not really good enough to be perfectly honest

It's McDonald's they are mostly the same. No matter where you go. Enjoyable food.

My husband was very impressed with the burger meal for July and my wee girl love's her happy meals

Cramped, the floors were greasy and slippery, and you could smell the loos from the front door. It made Grimsby fish docks seem like a flower bouquet. I don't know if it's that disgusting in there all the time, but I spent the next 24 hours with vomiting and diarrhoea. Unfortunately I'd gone through the drive thru and eaten before I used their loos, otherwise I would have gone elsewhere

Meals are very rarely hot, just luke warm, orders often wrong, you ask for dips etc but they forget to put them in.

So ordered a plain burger and to be fair I got a plain one expect for the fact that there was bits of onion and lettuce both in the box and occasionally in the burger which (as someone who also works with food) says to me that they made the mistake that it should be plain and scrapped the contents off although didn't good a very good job. Guess it's just best I don't have an allergy but in case you do I would recommend to aviod this location if you do have any food issues.

I only go for the chips. Service is rushed, food is awful.

I'd leave no stars if possible, got to McDonald's who were clearly advertising burgers at 4:36 am, I asked for five chicken mayo burgers, only to be told they're changing to breakfast menu, breakfast isn't served till 5am a full 24 minutes later, I reckon they just couldn't be bothered to make 5 chicken mayo burgers, obviously I'll be back at some point and I'll do another review accordingly

Took my grandson, and despite being very busy we were served quickly . We both enjoyed our burgers , very tasty.

His liberal use of profanity was jarring, and certainly not suitable for the young customers running about. On the whole, the experience at this McDonald's outlet is a mixed bag. The service does its job but is tainted by instances of unprofessionalism that require immediate attention. This particular outlet needs to balance its environment, improve consistency in its food temperature, and maintain a professional standard among its staff to ensure a pleasant experience for all customers. After all, the experience should be as memorable as the iconic Golden Arches.

Can't go wrong with Maccy's. Order ahead using the app and collect though as the drive through queues are crazy. The collection bays aren't the best thought out at Kilmarnock town centre store though as the two drive through lanes block getting in or out, hence the 4 stars rather than 5.

Food is rank rotten, ice cream machine always broken and as for sauce tubs....would think it comes out wages when asking for them. Staff need trained on customer service

Eaten here. The only issue would be that the delivery drivers use the disabled bay. 🙄 come on, mcdonalds, do better.

A warm day and the place was mobbed. Food was the same as it always is.

Dropped in for a McDonald's for my granddaughter after spending a day at Troon Beach ⛱️ . rapid service plenty of seat's parking good but started to get busy as I was leaving Handy on the way home 😺

Fast food mmmmm only interested in just eat orders

Can't beat the cappuccino and big macs. However, on several occasions the staff do have tendencies to mess up your drive through order and I'll find myself having to go into the store itself to have this rectified. Due to this I'd have to rate the service one star for service and two stars for overall

Go to McDonald’s to chill and enjoy brunch and a chat. Stay longer than 1.5 hours you will be greeted a month later with a £100 parking fine. Isn’t that service for you. Let’s scam the loyal customers. Will never return

Regular menu at this location is good. However the breakfast shift consistently takes 15+ minutes to have your order completed which isn't good. Mighty McMuffin was sat waiting on the rest of the order for so long that the bun had gone hard and the inside was completely cold. Location is not worth the trip during Breakfast hours. - This is an edit 5 months after previous review. Decided to order the large spicy big tasty meal and I was given a big tasty bun smothered in the spicy sauce, covered in lettuce and a tiny mcspicy patty. The big tasty is a beef burger with bacon. Completely wrong and not even a real item on the menu. What is happening to the quality control at this restaurant?

Good cold and they didn’t get the order right. When tried to call them they answered then hung up and then put the phone off the hook. Always the same these days with that McDonalds.

Food sat on tray for ten minutes before serving it refused it and the attitude of the manager was stinking would seriously recommend to stay away

Driver brought my order all soaked in the drinks that she said we're spilled in the restaurant and said I'd have to accept it and claim it back.

My great-granddaughter loves chicken nuggets, so anytime she can convince me, we'll go. Now she adds ice cream after her happy meals.

Late night drive through, food was fresh and quick. Excellent coffee as always and everything we wanted was available.

I only ever buy coffee from McDs. On a recent visit to this store, I had to wait in the drive thru queue for over 5mins (just for a coffee) as the staff chose not to ask a customer to wait in the waiting bay. Two customers behind me left due to the wait and when it was finally my turn, I watched one of the staff make three hot drinks, then eventually hand me my coffee, which was already sitting on the counter. When I asked why they didn't move the customer to the waiting bay, I was told by the shift manager, thanks, but 'my suggestion was not needed...' What's the point of having these bays and losing customers for the sake of moving a car 10ft? I'm guessing the manager was probably too lazy to take the food outside to the car...?

The staff are usually lovely but had the odd miserable, unprofessional, unfriendly staff member serve me. The portion size isn't always up to scratch, the food is served pretty cold and not very fresh and items are often missing from orders.

Seems to go up in price quite often. Food is cold a lot of the time and not very fast for fast food.

Food was just ok as the fries weren't hot also not sauce added to tray so have to go to counter to get sauce

Cleanest McDonald's I've visited. Our order was spot on even the chips were hot

I don't usually go to this one because it's over run with kids that cause trouble around the place and don't feel comfortable going in

Not so keen on this McDonalds.very crowded chips were cold not as freindly staff as the Q8 McDonalds.had to sit down to a dirty table which I cleaned myself with wipes.

Ordered a meal for my son through just eat he got it about 1 hour later driver didn’t know where he was going and meal was cold tried phoning but keeps saying number busy very poor try stay away from just eat at McDonald’s armour street

Place was very quiet and service was quick. I'm not a big fan of McDs and was only there to get a burger for a friend. If you like their food, it's absolutely fine, drive through and plenty of parking. Nice, friendly service and ok prices.

Very slow service took 30mins to receive food. Just eat drivers jump queue as seems to be the normal with all McDonald's restaurants, very rude to customers waiting for food.

Its a total joke, from last few months you are getting a drink without ice because machine is broken and ,cannot’ be fixed, most of the time you are getting parked and waiting time is too long.

Half an hour wait for a simple breakfast order is not fast food. Yes they were busy but they were prioritizing deliveries before customers actually in the restaurant.

Have yet to get an order that is correct. Last 4 all wrong with something missing and McDonald's make it as difficult as possible to complain on the website

Food good as always but as always food cold especially the chips have to change them on numerous occasions

We popped in to this branch for a change, the service was great. The servers were very polite and greeted you when you arrived at the drive thru and we were served in no time. The food was great, very warm with fresh lettuce and plentiful portions of fries, the boxes were filled to the top. Certainly a far cry from what you get at the Irvine branch.

Usually quick to get food, especially now with the app. Order is accurate 99% of the time.

Good..was on drive thru...actually got a quick service (just eaters must have been sleeping !!... seriously the term fast food is now dead !!!) Food was ok (new mccrispy burger), not a patch on the KFC fillet tower tho ;)
