Well, I've got yo say I thought I would try macdonalds in Scotland, and it was lovely even my husband ate his and he didn't really like fast food 😲 so got to say again best so far Kilmarnock Ayrshire Scotland not a just eat delivery man throwing u aside to get there food b4 you . unfortunately i had a very bad experience today in the golden arches and i am now very upset. i paid for a large frappe and was given a regular. manager simply said they had ran out, left my taste buds gagging for more as i sipped on my overpriced beverage now i am enraged. nuggets were orite but 👍

It is what it is, foods decent, it's clean, wee cleaners always doing her thing, so for a snack it's decent & clean enough.

Was in here on Friday 30th August with my grand daughter and I was struggling with the order machine, a member of the staff Nicole helped me with it, saw us to our table and saw that we got table service. A very chatty friendly girl

Just eat order was delivered to the wrong address and was going round in circles with them trying to sort it. Nipped down to MCDs and spoke to the manager who sorted it for me no problem. They didn't have to as it was a Just Eat issue and not there's so it was very much appreciated. Amazing service helped a stressful day 🙂

This is a fast food outlet. Some family members would live on this food. I went in with my grandchild (aged 18) and bought her a burger. I don't eat McDonald's much -occasionally fries- and once when I tried ordering on screen I ended up with a bunch and a slice of lettuce so I am not the best person to comment.

Service is terrible they priorities the deliveries so u have to wait ages in the store waiting for ur food n its usually messed up burgers rotten nea milkshakes so never going again stevenston mcdees is basicly terrible compared to say irvine mcdees which actually get ur oders correct n its quiker n burgers r actually tastier cooked correctly so why is stevenston mcdees so bad? Terrible managers n lazy staff 👍

Stayed in Kilmarnock for 5 years and this is the worst macdonalds I have ever had. Hot drink, cold fries and dry burger. Your order should be as good as the last. Will not be back no effort as they have so much custom

Attended with my partner and three family members kids. Initially upon entering we where scowled at by an elderly employee with greyish hair and glasses because we sat down in an empty booth she was cleaning near as we got in her path despite us apologizing it was the only booth left at the time.. Food was overdone. One of the kids in our party was having a meltdown, my partner attended the till to ask for some ketchup as the kids particular about getting it out a packet/dip and not the pump. Another employee an older lady with gray hair and a pony tail Susan on her name badge was extremely rude refusing to give my partner a dip ketchup and arguing with my partner when we had 2 minutes before, received some dip ketchup from another member of staff but not enough for the kids. This unhelpful member of staff actually escalated a situation with her argumentive attitude which was easily resolved when the previous member till staff, provided my partner with ketchup. The utter lack of customer service from the majority of floor staff was rediculous and not what we expect from a mcdonalds. I hope these two old ladies are re assigned to a non customer facing role as they clearly arent up to the task or re trained appropriately.

Not me don't rate McDonald's at all

No-one serving on the counter for an in-person pick-up, but plenty of staff working to fulfil online and drive-through orders. None of them paid attention to me while I waited, not even a "I'll be right with you". It wasn't until a Just Eat driver appeared next to me and needed their order that the manager came through and I could finally ask for my order, which the screen had been saying was ready for the past 5 minutes. I don't expect much from a McDonald's, but common courtesy and customer service are the bare minimum anyone should expect.

Just picked up meal from Armour St store got home and there was no chicken in the Mcchicken sandwich , fair enough mistakes can happen . Phoned the store asked to speak to a Manager , come down and I’ll give you a new meal . Sorry you made the mistake can you deliver it to me NO , what can you do nothing . Ok can I complain , look up email on your receipt . I’m sorry the writing is very light , can you help “No “ is there a number I can phone “No I don’t know that “ . Ok can you give me the franchisees details , no I don’t know who it is . Honestly customer service zero

The food is definitely the worst across all the chains in Ayrshire. It doesn't seem to matter what time you visit always undercooked fries and burgers that look like they've been put together by a 3 year old

Kilmarnock bellfield waited 10 mns to place order at drive thru I was at the intercom for this time waiting. Then had to wait another 15 mns to receive food ... I only ordered 3 chicken nugget boxes and a plain burger ....definitely not fast food

I was first in the queue but still had to wait about ten minutes for food. But it was worth it. it was really good very tasty.

Table service, Staff member put the meal on the table and left ,no enjoy your meal or even acknowledged we were there. Very rude ,

I ordered a delivery from this restaurant for my grandchildren as a treat. All went okay, I -aid and the order was being prepared and delivered. The order came, the driver shot off quickly no doubt to get back for his next delivery. The order was short of chicken McNuggets and a cheeseburger for my two granddaughters. I called the restaurant. What was the reply? ‘That is unfortunate” no atgempy to resolve my complaint, no recognition of their mistake and absolutely no sympathy for my two granddaughters lack of lunch. There was not even an attempt to send out the missing items. Very, very poor. It seems the restaurant is happy to take your money but not provide the food.

I ordered 2 milkshakes with our meal and was told the machine wasn't working (surprise surprise) I got offered other drinks but did not get a refund for the overpayment. Restaurant staff were unable/unwilling to help

Service was slow and meals were sent to a different table, order was wrong, brought correct meal then 15mins later brought another meal and said sorry for the wai, no communication it seems! Not be back

I have visited this McDonald’s on my way home from a long tiring shift, I ordered PLAIN cheeseburger but with extra onions, now I made sure to over exaggerate the plain part as I have had experiences in the past where they don’t listen, any how, I’m severely allergic to pickles and what was found on my burger.!!!!!!!!! PICKELS!!!! help me I had to take my epipen where a member of public had to help me. Clean your ears out. PS minimum wage doesn’t mean minimum effort!!!

Lunchtime drive through and everyone was having to wait for food.

Most times are okay, but they forget things far too often. This time they forgot the main meal, when we called the manager hung up on us. They also left onions on my food, which I am allergic too.

Drive through was managed well with quick service and all the food I asked for was in the bag.

Honestly such hit or miss. If its busy worth avoiding. Came back again from the drive through with items missing that I've paid for and juices have filled. Just seems no care is given at certain times!

£65 good delivery with half the food missing phoned the store to get nothing but claim a refund which i didn’t want I wanted the food delivered to then have someone phone me back to again be no help not even sure why she phoned me back total joke and very bad when they just pass the blame to uber eats when I ordered off the McDonald’s app I even said I’d come and collect the missing food and was told no????

They get my order wrong more often than they get it right. Missing items are the most common, but sometimes its extra items that I can't eat.

No tomato and still had tomatoe on it even though there was a label on the box good job I'm just picky and could pick it off and I'm not allergic it was busy though there were loads of uber orders not excusing them just giving the full picture easy mistake to make

Early February, minus 2° outside, colder inside. People seated at tables wrapped up in thick coats and woolly hats. Baltic air blasting through the premises' vents. So what better on a chilly winter night then than a warming burger? Sadly, the tepid, flaccid, ahem, Big Tasty failed miserably at warming the cockles of my heart or any other cockles belonging to my hypothermic anatomy. Through chattering teeth I managed to convey to the manager my concerns about contracting frostbite if I lingered any longer in his icy establishment. My fears, however, fell on deaf ears (probably because of his earmuffs). So I picked up my Big Tasty, exited into the Arctic night and ate my gruel at an outside table where, it has to be said, the ambience was considerably cosier than that endured inside the Armour Street igloo.

Had to order at the counter which obviously they don't want anymore. Was served by a zombie like member of staff who had an aversion to using speech as a method of communication. Tried the new fajita wrap which did not taste remotely Mexican or like a fajita? Chips were just warm when they arrived but soon transitioned to cold. All in all not a great meal.

Opens until late, good place to have a coffee if one needs to wait until transport etc. Few places in Kilmarnock are open that late.

Asked for food to be hot as last time was cold was cold.Ordered chicken nuggets for kids that didn't come phoned and told you will get them next time or come on for them after paying delivery and couldn't leave kids ridiculous for the money they take should not be allowed.Avoid this place daylight robbery at this day and age.

Ordered a delivery to my work put on the address the exact location never received it as the delivery driver actually delivered it on the bypass by my work and took a pic and sent it to me tonsay he had delivered it.

One of the worst McDonald’s around. The inability to put 2 different burgers in a bag is outstanding, don’t order in here for just eat anymore since I ordered 2 Big Mac meals and a wrap and only the wrap turned up. Just ordered 2 meals, got home and one of the burgers is missing, honestly, ask your staff to pay a little bit of attention

ordered via just eat last night a .mccrispy meal fries diet coke at just after midnight order arrive opened it to find 3 cold cheeseburgers and a coke!! not happy at all I don't even eat beefburgers hot or cold!

NO stars for McDonald's tonight. I had to click one star to make this post. Family spent over £40 on a delivery, and it was missing two items. Over an hour of phone calls before i eventually got an answer. The "Manager" was an utter disgrace. Fully of excuses. Took NO responsibility for his Team or Shop. No drivers available. No insured drivers. Not company policy. Staff can't double check orders before they are sent out. Nothing I can do about it. Not my fault. I'm not personally responsible. (It's your Team, mate and you're supposed to be in charge). Complete lack of customer focus. No attempt to think of or offer a solution. We odered in because I'm not fit to drive tonight so "you can come an pick it up" is no sodding use. All I wanted was for them to fix THIER mistake. Send me the food we had ordered and paid for. Its really NOT rocket science.

Chips were undercooked - burgers certainly did not look anything like pics displayed at order point. Wrapping was poor and we had to wait for the order. All in all disgusting.

Pancakes heated up too long in microwave, paper knife & fork not sturdy enough to cut the overheated & hard pancakes. Thankful didnt drive through as never gave us syrup! I avoid drive through here as they always get order wrong that one thing you can rely on here!

Most of times half of stuff is missing from order

Almost everytime we order through just eat there's an item missing, this can't be the fault of just eat as its not just eat drivers who pack the order up, they just bring it, however when you call to say an item is missing all you're told is that its an issue with just eat there's nothing that can be done, order from any other restaurants in kilmarnock and it this happened and you call to report it they have no issues sending a replacement item, thus happens at both this branch and the branch at the Q8 roundabout, not really good enough to be perfectly honest

It's McDonald's they are mostly the same. No matter where you go. Enjoyable food.

Cramped, the floors were greasy and slippery, and you could smell the loos from the front door. It made Grimsby fish docks seem like a flower bouquet. I don't know if it's that disgusting in there all the time, but I spent the next 24 hours with vomiting and diarrhoea. Unfortunately I'd gone through the drive thru and eaten before I used their loos, otherwise I would have gone elsewhere

Meals are very rarely hot, just luke warm, orders often wrong, you ask for dips etc but they forget to put them in.

So ordered a plain burger and to be fair I got a plain one expect for the fact that there was bits of onion and lettuce both in the box and occasionally in the burger which (as someone who also works with food) says to me that they made the mistake that it should be plain and scrapped the contents off although didn't good a very good job. Guess it's just best I don't have an allergy but in case you do I would recommend to aviod this location if you do have any food issues.

I'd leave no stars if possible, got to McDonald's who were clearly advertising burgers at 4:36 am, I asked for five chicken mayo burgers, only to be told they're changing to breakfast menu, breakfast isn't served till 5am a full 24 minutes later, I reckon they just couldn't be bothered to make 5 chicken mayo burgers, obviously I'll be back at some point and I'll do another review accordingly

Can't go wrong with Maccy's. Order ahead using the app and collect though as the drive through queues are crazy. The collection bays aren't the best thought out at Kilmarnock town centre store though as the two drive through lanes block getting in or out, hence the 4 stars rather than 5.

Food is rank rotten, ice cream machine always broken and as for sauce tubs....would think it comes out wages when asking for them. Staff need trained on customer service
