Fellside Coffee in South Lakeland

So happy I found this little van of treats after a long dog walk. It was based at the National Trust site and the guy who runs it, and his friendly dog, were really nice. I'm a fussy coffee consumer but his coffee was really great, and the vegan offerings made by his wife were truly delicious....and very filling as they are generous portions! The cinnamon bun and the oreo cookie were gorgeous but my favourite was the choc flapjack. Unfortunately I had to share it with my husband so I very much plan to stop by here again the next time we are up in the Lakes and treat myself again. Thank you!!

Visited the wee Fellside van at Kendal Mountain Festival - well done guys, you were clearly non-stop busy all weekend but did not show the strain! This place is completely plant based so oat milk as standard - not a problem for me as I usually drink my coffee black but my hubby would usually have a cortado. Coffee was pretty darn good (Rinaldo’s Speciality Coffee I believe) despite the pressure on their machine and grinder no doubt with the queues all day! My hubby found the oat milk a little odd but not a surprise as he’s not used to it - but agreed the underlying coffee was good.

Driving to Booths Windermere from Ambleside I stopped for a coffee , it was delicious and I couldn’t resist the chocolate brownies and on tasting these they were absolutely delicious best brownie ever . Can’t wait to find this little van again in future
