Fat Boy Chinese in Camden

Ordered from here and they packed me a completely different order to what my friends and I ordered. I called them and they were useless and unhelpful and wouldn’t send us the correct food. This was a £55 order too!! Horrible

They sell raw meat in their food - worst money ever spent. I thought let me order some nice Chinese but this ruined my night

Ordered a delivery through uber eats and it pit incorrect address in. Contacted the takeaway and was met with the most rude and ignorant person on the other end of the phone was trying to get help getting my order from him and just got a load of expletives from him down the phone. I had to drive 20 kine to pick up food and it was disgusting we had to throw it in the bin. Please do yourselves a favour and swerve this place

We spent £57 on a delivery from this restaurant on my sons 21st birthday. Uber eats driver refused to bring the order to our address and demanded that we go and collect it from him 10 minutes away from where we live. I explained that I'd just had a bad diabetic hypo and couldn't be left alone for the length of time it would take my son to collect from him. Driver hung the phone up. He cancelled the order and went off we our food. He uploaded a photo of the street name sign 10 minutes away from our address to the Uber eats app and Uber eats refused to refund us. We are in the process of requesting CCTV footage of the outside of our block entrance from our landlords, which will show that the driver did not come to our address like he lied and said he had on the app. I called the restaurant and explained the situation and they could not have cared less. Disgraceful behaviour from all concerned.

Absolutely disgusting curry sauce had about half inch of oil just resting at top the chips were so undercooked it looks like they went in the oil and come out straight away got sweet and sour chicken aswell and bloody hell no sauce this restaurant need to be looked at it’s running 3 different takeaways in 1 shop chicken shop pizza and Chinese what nonsense is that

Absolutely disgusted Cancelled a order litrally 1 minute after it being placed as realised the delivery was wrong. And apparently due to them already starting it still took payment. Money grabbers

This has to be the worst Chinese food I’ve ever tasted. I ordered a special chow mien. When it came it was brown, greasy, cold and pretty much devoid of any meat, prawns etc. I had one mouthful which was awful so I left the rest. I’m from a small town in the sticks and yet all the Chinese take aways there can make this dish properly. I should have thought in London where you can easily source the ingredients and have competition from all the fab Chinese restaurants in China Town, that this should have been an easy meal to make properly but I was wrong! Never again!

Had a takeaway from here Saturday night , It was probably the worst Chinese meal I've ever eaten ! Everything tasted sour , and had a brown colour to almost every dish AVOID!!!

I ordered a Chinese from here on Sunday night. The place is called ‘Fatboys Chinese’ - you’d expect good food, and good portion sizes. How wrong I was. I’m taking time to write this review because of how disgusted I am with this place. For background, I am quite the Chinese food ‘fiend’. It’s my ‘go to takeaway’ and had once ordered from here before and was fairly impressed. On Sunday I placed an order for myself and family and we were confused and shocked at the portion size of the seaweed. Honestly we thought maybe the chef who packed it got distracted halfway through or died. It was basically empty. I know what you’re thinking. It’s only seaweed, not a main event like the Sweet and Sour Chicken. But for me seaweed is the main event - it’s the headliner at Glastonbury. Super dissapointed (and starving) I give the Fatboys a ring to make them aware that it appears half the seaweed has disappeared. I was met with complete and utter rudeness - they in fact hung up on me!! Not one sh*t was given at this travesty/ daylight robbery. Needless to say, I will NEVER be ordering from here again and urge others not to either - if there is a problem with your order, they will not care. I simply want to live in a world where when I order a takeaway, there is actual food in the containers. According to Fatboys that is too much to ask for. I suggest they change their name to ‘Skinnyboys’.

I wanted a Chinese takeaway local to me. It is impossible to find anything decent to say about this place. The standard was rock bottom, maybe if you're starving you can swallow it. The tofu could not have been real tofu. It was like rubberised mattress. I have never had braised duck anywhere like this. I had to spit it out. It was not recognisable as duck. Literally disgusting. I'm sorry, you should not be allowed to trade.

We have been searching for a decent Chinese take away since moving here and today we’ve finally found it! All dishes were delicious, cooked perfectly and with quality ingredients. Price was really good too. Won’t be ordering anywhere else now. Thanks Fat Boy Chinese!

I've had this Chinese 5 plus times and it's the best Chinese I've had in London. I've ordered it while friends are over and they have not been able to stop eating it even when full. It's amazing honestly.

Ordered a takeaway from here via Deliveroo. Food was excellent, tasty, value for money and arrived hot. All the dishes were exceptional. Can’t wait to order again.

Save your money! We managed to eat about 10% of this it was so gross. We ordered the following: duck and pancakes- ok. Seaweed - ok. Plain rice - ok. Egg fried rice - old and greasy. Cantonese beef fillet - so disgusting couldn't touch it after first taste. Chicken with ginger and spring onions - looked good, but vile and tasteless. Chinese vegetables - tasteless. Chilli ribs - fatty and grissly. The onions and green chillies were ok. Low expectations for some chinese takeway but this was really vile. Deserved a review.
