Erman's Kitchen in Harlow

We went here on the recommendation of our 14 year old daughter! She wanted to go and told us about it. I went on line and got a table booked for the 3 of us, when we arrived we were presently greeted from members of staff. I must say from when we arrived the service was first class! The staff are so welcoming professional and polite very helpful indeed. The food was so nice from starter main and desert, so so tasty full of flavour, we didn’t have to wait long for any of our courses, very well presented. This is my number 1 Resturant, I will highly recommend Erman’s kitchen We will be back with friends and family, I only write a review if I think it’s worth it snd this Resturant most certainly is so a big thank you to the staff, bar staff, and kitchen staff . Your all fantastic.

Lot's of people had recommended this restaurant as a must go to and very local to us. I arranged for all our friends to attend for my husbands surprise birthday dinner. The food was amazing and the waiting team were amazing as well, so polite and could not do enough to help us. The venue is smaller than I thought but the venue is stunning. We will be going back again thank you

When I booked this restaurant mid-November, their website stated that were doing bottomless brunch so I requested this when booking. Unfortunately they rang me the day before my booking to tell me they are no longer doing bottomless brunch. This is disappointing as they had weeks to tell me this and the whole reason we booked was for the bottomless. Nevertheless, we still decided to go and I’m glad we did. The food was all delicious and well cooked - especially the starters. The staff were friendly and the interior is lovely. The only negatives are that the vegetarian options are quite boring and expensive for what they are.

This restaurant is awful. Couldn’t go as tested positive for Covid on a lateral flow and the restaurant made us pay £15pp for cancellation, unless proven with a PCR test - which is currently nearly impossible to get hold of! The rest of the group of friends who went for the meal have had upset belly’s. Appalling restaurant!

Lovely service, food was excellent and very tasty. Only gripe would be the seating seemed a bit cramped. Overall though was impressed

I went there for evening meal. Food and service exceptional. Had the Halibut- well the chef certainly knows how to cook fish. Several choices of fish too. My friend had mixed kebab. Presentation good too. Will be back very soon.

Me and two of my friends booked a table for 6pm. One of my friends was running late, so we called the restaurant to inform them. Two of us arrived at the restaurant at 6.10pm and were shown to our table. We hadn't even sat down, when we were approached by our server. We were told very abruptly, that they needed the table empty at 8. So the service will be rushed and it's because we've arrived late. Once we'd ordered our food, and starters arrived, the same server approached us and said "Are you going to eat? You don't have much time you know" We were really looking forward to the evening, having seen the instagram pictures and great reviews online. However, we were taken aback by the rudeness and abrupt behaviour of our server. We did speak to him about his behaviour and how it was coming across rude. He did apologise, but the experience will not change for us. Not coming back.

We went for a friends 50th birthday celebrations with the girls and had the bottomless brunch. Lovely food and cocktails and the staff all really friendly. Great atmosphere and a lovely afternoon had celebrating 🥳 xx

I reserved a table on line Saturday 7th November at 11am . Meanwhile the person I was goingto be dining with relieved a message they had been in contact with someone with covid so had to isolate I tried to cancel the booking online but wouldn't allow me as is said you only cancel 2 days before the booking. I called the restaurant directly I explained the situation with a lady who basically said its company policy they will still take the £15 per head from my bank account for making the booking. So unhelpful and rude. That evening the restaurant called Me and asked me why I didn't turn up. I explained that I had to cancel that I had called the restaurant 8 hours previously. Wednesday 10th a 'manager ' decided to call me back as I was so disgusted with the poor service I had called to speak to them Well he was the rudest unprofessional person I have ever come across. I AGAIN explained my situation to him he continued to shout over me telling me its tough they lose money with ' no shows' I wasn't a no show I cancelled due to covid 19 !!! With more than enough notice to allocate the table to another couple that evening! When I approached him with this he continued to shout over me! I said I would leave a review he laughed and said 'yea go on' This is appalling customer service and greedy they have taken £30 from my bank account and refused to refund.!!

Positives -This cosy little restaurant in Old Harlow does really tasty food . Portion size was generous ,taste was good .Cocktails were one of the bests in the area .Nice decor -friendly professional service Negatives -slightly cramped sitting arrangement ,Beetroot tartare was not nice ,some of the dishes were priced higher than needed .service charge was added to the bill 20 percent . This will be good choice of restaurant for an occasion where you are ready to spend little more .It won’t be our regular unless restaurant comes up with some special weekday offer etc.

The food here is unreal, I always go for the Lamb Sis and it it always comes out beautifully, the atmosphere in the restaurant is lively at the weekend so good for parties. The cocktails are fantastic. The staff are always friendly. We frequently have deliveries also and never have an issue with the quality of the food. I love it here!

Came here for the first time tonight would highly recommend the food it was amazing staff were very attentive especially murs couldnt fault anything brilliant atmosphere although music may have been little bit to loud

After waiting over 2 hours for a delivery from their sister restaurant the Garden grill and no delivery and phone turned off! I phoned Ermans who did not care at allows told kitchen closed nothing they do! asked to speak to management their response was to put the phone on the side, laughing in the back ground and no one came to the phone!! This is just un professional and extremely childish!! I am a long standing customer but I will NEVER order again. I am waiting to see if the management have the decency to CONTACT me regarding this issue?? I run my own business and would never treat my customers like this! management Im waiting?????????

We were made to feel very welcome by all staff. Specials were explained clearly, without pressure; all food was well-presented, beautifully cooked, extremely tasty, and provided with excellent service. We’ll definitely be back.

Wow ! We was staying at downhall and decided not to eat at our hotel restutant. Best decision. Ermans kitchen was amazing. We ate on a Saturday evening. The decor was amazing instagram worthy. We was seated very quickly and waitress ordered our drinks quickly....
