One of the best places for a sausage roll bap. Lovely fresh buns. And served with a smile all the time. Prices are very reasonable

Bought 3 buns and each of them was stale. Expensive at £1 each compared to other home bakeries. Will not return.

I ordered a cake in Spencer road for my sons birthday, cake was really fresh and enjoyed by all. I was a little disappointed as they hadn't spelt his name correctly even though I wrote it on the order as the girl who took order on Saturday wasnt sure how to do Fada's. I could see from my order it was wrote by someone else on 23rd for order on 24th May.

Called at Drumahoe last week and was greeted with a friendly and welcoming face. Staff were very attentive and great customer service. Had the nicest cream finger and apple turnover it had to be the best I have ever tasted. Highly recommend and lovely to see a family bakery on our high street long may it continue.

Bought a cake here but had to make a complaint as the cream was off/ sour. Manager Robert offered no refund or even an apology. Serious lack of customer service or care. Denied that there was a problem with the cake and couldn't have cared less that my whole family never had one slice. Long time customer lost for good.

We recently got a cake from here for a family birthday. The cake looked fine but the sweet cream in the middle had something really off in it. It was like a soapy or chemical type taste that left me and others gagging. Weve got lots of family cakes from here before with no issues but something went seriously wrong with this cake. It really makes me concerened about their quality process or hygiene. We cant have been the only cake made from this batch of cream so it would be interesting to hear anyone elses reviews from cakes collected Saturday 15th. Eleanors said there was nothing wrong with it so they obviously think the 5 different members of my family were wrong. They didnt even offer an apology. We wont be back!

Excellent home bakery everything so fresh and with a great selection. Very central to town great atmosphere and pleasant staff.

Very well located, nice and central for hotels and shops etc. We just called in for a quick breakfast, fast and friendly service. There’s an unbelievable choice and everything is super fresh. I thought it was excellent value for money and will definitely be back.

I have recently been here for a coffee and cake it was very good this being my first time here I hope to return soon

I was in town early and struggling to find somewhere to have a snack at 9.00 am as everywhere seemed to be closed. I was delighted to find Eleanor's which seemingly opens from 7.30 am . Had a lovely cappuccino and scone much cheaper than in the big chain coffee shops. The manageress was very friendly and chatty. I'll be back .

Went here with the kids for a quick bite to eat - they are SO friendly and food very good- kids had salad rolls and I went for a healthy hot sausage roll. Highly recommend it - if even for a quick scrumptious chocolate eclair!!! Lunch for 3 was £3.45! You won’t do better

This delightful Bakery/teashop appeared as does an oasis in the desert. We were hot and tired from walking the tourist route around the walls when we spyed The Bakery. We ordered tea and the assistant suggested buttered tea cakes, we were hooked. the staff and the rest of the customers were so friendly we could have stayed longer but were due to leave Ireland the next day.

Excellent service, delicious fresh baked bread and cakes also traditional stew and daily specials. Lovely to taste food that you know is not long out of the oven. Excellent value for money much nicer than any of these commercial bakery's such as gregg's taking over the high streets. Keep it local and support proper baking not pre made frozen goods. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Eleanor's has a branch in Strand Road which has a small cafe section. Great for a quick cup of tea or coffee with lovely fresh scones or pastries. They also do sandwiches, breakfast and hot pies and salads. Staff are very friendly and the food is delivered from their own bakery fresh each morning. Only drawback is that seating is limited but there is a carryout service available.

Multiple glass cases filled with delicious pastries - suitable for breakfast, dessert, or a snack. Also racks of dough-style options along the back, including donuts, breads & rolls. Lots of coffee options, including cappuccinos, lattes, espressos, juice & milk. Only a few tables inside, but delightful, warm & welcoming cafe for a short respite.
