El Murrino pop-up beach restaurant in Bournemouth

What a location! We finally got around to enjoying proper lunchtime pizzas on the beach at this high-season only pop-up beach Italian restaurant and bar. Lovely welcome, choice of shade or sunny seating, very reasonably priced, (all pizzas £14 each, wine £6.50, good choice of food and drinks, great service, and, of course, Stunning Views of the beach and sea. It closes this year at the end of September...looking forward to 2025 hopefully! 2 minor suggestions; it'd be helpful for the kitchen staff to fully cut the pizzas into slices, rather than just score them into "this is where to cut" lines. It took ages to cut through/tear with the little wooden knives... And while the groovy Spanish music is ok...it was a bit much after an hour - the same drum pattern too...a mix of genres, sun-soaked, chilled music, jazz, dubb reggae, West Coast, etc would be welcome... That said, we recommended El M to friends who went today, and they loved it too! Thanks to the lovely team.

What a fantastic beach restaurant! The overall atmosphere and friendly staff and security was tight with relaxing feeling and cleanliness was superb! I cannot fault this and I’m 💯 a clean god! If I could I would eat and drink here everyday! The best ever ever!

Amazing time here for air show. So well coordinated and a great atmosphere. This is our 4th year here and it just gets better and better Every year. Nothing beats an el murrino pizza. Fantastic service given by everyone, but particularly Bryony, thank you!

What a lovely place between Bournemouth Pier and Boscombe Pier, on the beach East Cliff area. Nice relaxing with a holiday feeling about the place , on a sunny day not long been back from holiday, place to visit to continue your holiday atmosphere.

Lovely location, lovely vibe, staff nice, one of the best burgers we’ve had in a long time. Negatives - very expensive to park nearby, pay as you go for every drink/course. Very small desert menu.

Dropped in for lunch on a sunny Monday. Decent vibe, great position, all good so far. But very disappointed that the £14 avo & smoked salmon salad on a bed of rocket had 12 (yes, twelve) rocket leaves and 5 very small pieces of avocado. Salmon was nice, as was the pesto. But come on, if you forget to order the ingredients then take it off the menu!! Went here today for an impromptu lunch in the sunshine and had what can only be described as the best vegan burger I’ve ever had and I’ve tried a few!!! Not only was the the setting beautiful and the sun shining but the staff were amazing. Leo in particular stood out. He was helpful, polite and friendly. If you enjoy good food in a great setting with happy, friendly staff I’d highly recommend going. Thanks Leo, you made a first trip most definitely not our last!!

Great vibes and delicious food. The staff are so attentive, especially Melody, she recommended me the No Lada which is now my favourite drink when visiting. The playlists are superb and it’s such a stunning place to relax and chill for a bit with friends/family!

Lunch. Located along East Cliff Beach between Bournemouth and Boscombe Piers. Whilst taking a walk along the beach with our doggies,we saw what looked like a bar in the distance. So decided to walk a little further to take a look. What a pleasant surprise on arrival. We thought we had just arrived in Ibiza. It was a glorious sunny day and decided to find a seat and have a drink. Moretti £6.50 & Old Mout £6.50. It's a beachside popup and kitchen run by a family who have Elmurrino in town 154 Old Christchurch Rd, Bournemouth BH1 1NL. There was a food menu on the other side drinks menu. Choices are Pizzas,burgers,salads and light bites. We could no longer resist.So on the third time of the young man asking if we want to order anything? We gave in and ordered a salad & a burger with fries. Salad - AVOCADO E SALMONE £14. Avocado, smoked salmon on a bed of rocket with a homemade pesto dressing and rocket garnish. Burger - HOT& SPICY £14 Double 3oz smashed patties with jalapenos, melted cheese and spicy chill mayo. The food was actually better than anticipated. Wish we had ordered the pizza, as they did look really good on seeing them being served to other tables. It's a beautiful setting, especially in the sunshine. There's even a Dj doing his thing. You can choose to sit on the comfy seats under the shade of the brollys. Or in the sunshine on benches with sand under your feet. If you really want to feel like you're part of the Ibiza insta glitterarti there's the VIP seating for £75. This includes: 2 Margherita pizzas and any 4 drinks or a bottle of wine or prosecco. Who needs Ibiza when you can visit this amazing space right on the beach without the price tag. A bonus for us,it's very dog friendly. We'll definately be back, when the sun decides to show up again.

What a beautiful venue! The location is exceptional, decoration is just right. Serving team were fast, friendly and efficient. The food came quickly and hit the spot on a hot Sunday morning. Well priced, not charging the earth for the location, absolute winner, didn't sample the cocktails but the choice was huge with some classics and some originals. Will be back!

Absolutely loved our meal at El Murrino. Super friendly staff and an amazing atmosphere. Pizza’s weee delicious and there were plenty of options. We visited last year and this year was even better.
