A lovely atmospheric Spanish Tapas restaurant which has a varied menu including classics and specialities, the portion sizes are large so don't hesitate to share, particularly the Charcuterie board and whitebait. The house white wine is light and crisp and compliments the dishes perfectly. Sitting in the lovely surroundings as the trains rumble underneath and all the local accents and languages are being spoken is a delight.

We went after football, wanted a nice and quiet place. But I had a stomach ache after oysters. The chease was very plane and overpriced, the same with sausage - like from shop. better to order something casual and simple to be safe.

Overpriced, low quality. Large selection, good atmosphere. Added a service charge then used option for a tip when paying! Bad.

I ate at a Spanish-style restaurant while listening to the uncle's live performance. The bbq chicken was the most delicious, and the sausage was salty as expected.

One of London places which didn't change for years and I am so grateful for that. Still amazing Spanish tapas and such good wines that have that magic to take you back into same time 30 years ago. Definitely place to meet friends, have a laugh, and enjoy good food. Just came back from Myvue cinema across the road after watching the latest Alien movie and had such an amazing burger that I had to find out who the cook was there.

Reasonable taste but Croquetas and tortilla were very dry. The delivery time said 20-35 mins when we paid, after we paid it went to 45-60 minutes. It took 60 minutes to arrive, very disappointing

Popped in on a day that happened to have live music going on which made it have an amazing atmosphere. It was abit of a chilly day but luckily the place had heaters and blankets for the chairs outside. Loved the food very much especially the grilled lamb cutle and the pork belly which were in the tapas section and very affordable. Would recommend going again especially on a day with live music going on.

Best paella i ever had in London, I would say better than those touristic restaurants i had in spain, We had paella Valenciana and some tapas as well, tapas are also very genrours portions. The manager lady was very nice and all the satff was very friendly Will visit more often. Oh yea, must try their spanish wine collection 5 stars from me and my family

I came here on a Saturday evening and it was a great experience. The staff really welcome you into Spain and there’s lovely live music. The tapas was brilliant and is great to share. I will be returning again for sure

I don't recommend it, the food is mediocre, no flavor at all. It seemed expensive to pay 50 pounds per person for what the dishes were. You can eat much better in London for those prices.

We went to see the Chelsea field, and when we went to ask for a table the owner told us that she only accepted cash and we could only stay half an hour to have a drink. Typical Spanish, for black money, of course...

Great place to eat Spanish food in London! Paella and pollo con chorrizo are some of the dishes that i tried recently on my trip in London! We were a group from Greece and we found a place to eat at night where most of the restaurants in London stop serving dinner! The people who work there were friendly and the quality of food was great which is a very important factor for a restaurant!

We ordered two bitter coffees, two little bowls of soup with soaked bread topped up with a fried egg and one plain tasteless small sea food salad to share. We asked for some oil and vinegar to season it, and for this, we had been charged separately £2.50, including a voluntary tip of £4.17 (that was automatically included in the total amount). The waiter refused to remove the charge. When challenged, we were told that olive oil has gone up in Spain. I pointed out that there was no indication that this came under a separate charge. However, the waiter dismissed my concern in an offended manner, and we ended up paying a full amount of £37.52!

I really like this place, have been several times now and think the food is good with a good selection of Tapas. Each tapa is a reasonable size and big enough for sharing.

Spaniard approved 💯 We went to watch the Euros final here and loved it. Special mention to the tortilla, gazpacho, pimientos del padrón and crema catalana, all very good and reminded me of home! Great little place and will be sure to be back!

Overwhelming average (perhaps below average…), very expensive! £28 for a jug of sangria… I’ll leave it at that. Staff were friendly and attentive, however food wasn’t great. My partner and I shared a jug of sangria, plate of jamon and manchego - £60!

We met our friends who were visiting London. We just thought it looked good so decided to give it a try. We had a great lunch. The waiters were friendly and helpful. They made us feel welcome. The food was excellent. Would recommend for a quick bite or a couple of beers 😊👍

I recently had a fantastic experience at El Metro restaurant. To start, I enjoyed an amazing burger, and the papas bravas with prawns were absolutely delicious. The standout, though, was the tremendous customer service provided by Restaurant Manager Cande. Thank you, and I’ll definitely be back!

It says ‘they are the most copied tapas place’. I’m really hoping that nobody copies the owners attitude or arrogance! I had such a bad experience here, it was recommended that i visit given i am just two minutes away. There was an issue in relation to the service charge (which is interesting, because i can see a recent review about this also). He tried to add on service charge of £3 even though i was sitting at the bar. The owner spoke to me very rudely and needs to learn how to talk to other people.I really do NOT recommend that you go here- the owner needs to go on a course about how to have manners and respect customers.

This place is definitely worth visiting, the staff here are really welcoming and very friendly, which is always so nice. Although the menu prices are expensive it’s definitely enjoyable coming here in a group and ordering a variety of foods. The food is amazing and always served at a good standard. I recommend the mackerels the most!

I think this would’ve been better on a sunny day when you could sit outdoors! Service was 10/10, everyone working there was so lovely. The food was decent but not the best tapas I’ve ever had. House wines were pretty expensive for moderate wine, next time I’d order sangria instead. Overall I enjoyed myself but there are better tapas places in London!

OK Food. But the general manager left us a sour taste at the end. We wanted the service charge removed so we could allocate it solely to the lady who served us and was fantastic (Rebecca), She'd finished her shift by this stage and the service went south from the service manager so we're reluctant to leave him a tip. We said wed happily vome back next day. He's now lost a cuatomer for good..

Booked online , only to be given a table outside in the evening rain .waited 25 minutes to take order for a drink and had to call them over for that .complained as ppl came in no booking and were seated inside , was given a table inside eventually still no drinks came .service worse I've received anywhere. Noisy restaurant tables ridiculously close food was over priced and very average. Won't be returning

Lovely little place, been here a few times now…great food…highly recommend the chorizo picante, prawns, pork belly, croquettes and potato bravas…great drink selection, margarita are great, and lovely staff that provide great service as well as being super friendly! Sat outside here feels like I’m almost in Spain!

We had such a delightful lunch! Excellent food and service. We got 6 tapas and a paella for two, the portion is generous so that was definitely too much food for two people, I would recommend /suggest 4 tapas more than enough. The freshness of the food, added herbs and spices, beautiful flavor compositions are outstanding! If you’re lucky and weather is nice, you can enjoy lunch in the beautiful garden as well. Really good size of delicious food and 2 drinks per person at the total of £155, which we thought was super fair for the food, quality and location. Will definitely go back!

Our server was the best part of the experience, she was kind & attentive. We ordered the Seafood Paella & the Lasagna Bolognese. Honestly, the seafood wasn’t great. It was rubbery & didn’t taste too fresh. The Lasagna was okay but honestly it tasted store bought.

We went to see Chelsea's field (Stamford Bridge) and we found this restaurant. Upon entering we got a pleasant surprise, a Spanish food restaurant. Highly recommended the tortilla with chorizo, the spicy chorizitos and. 100% recommended for its food, its service, its atmosphere and its attention. Both Abraham and Candela treated us 10.

I went to El Metro 10+ times and it never disappointed. Beautiful interiors and it also has a great spot outside that you can enjoy all year round. Tasty menu and very fair prices considering the area.

We went as a group of 6 friends for dinner and we couldn't have been more comfortable. The atmosphere is cozy and typically Spanish, including the music. We loved the food, especially the knuckle. We couldn't enjoy the terrace because it was very cold, but in summer it must be very good there. Special mention for Cande, the waitress, we let ourselves be guided by her and she even got the wine right!!!! Totally recommended site.

Expetacular experience 💯x💯 recommended, we were a large group and the service was great, the typical Spanish food as it should be, everything we ordered recommended spicy sausages, garlic chicken and some grilled calamari that looked like it was in a Malaga beach bar

Should‘ve read the reviews first. There were just a few guests on a friday night. The senior waiter was not nice at all! They charge a 21 PERCENT SERVICE CHARGE WITHOUT TELLING YOU. They even don’t say on the website or menu!!! And for that they offer anything else than good service. NEVER AGAIN. Ask for a detailed bill before paying!

Live nearby and love the slightly quirky atmosphere. Like something out of Amélie . Great spot for tapas, and the location over the district lines tracks just adds to the ambiance.

Huge serving of paella says good for two but its actually enough for 3 people. Highly recommend Spanish Tripe its soo good. The tripe is sooo soft and easy to eat. Spanish sardines serving was actually big i was expecting small sized sardines😅 the service was also amazing. We were attended to accordingly.

Most of the dishes we ordered were from Iceland. That was the 2nd time I’ve visited, I won’t go a 3rd. Wine was good

Great little place. Lunch time visit. Great service; good food but the the floor was freshly washed and the not so subtle aroma of industrial strength bleach didn’t do much for the ambience or the taste of the food & wine for a while.

This is a charming restaurant, with traditional Spanish decor, just off the main road in Fulham. The food is really good, with ample portions and reasonably priced. The service is charming and friendly. We were given a starter of delicious soup on the house as we walked in which made us feel very welcome.

O no tuvimos suerte en lo que pedimos o todo está muy malo, comida recalentada en el microondas, la sopa de pescado es una salsa de tomate agria con dos gambas, dos langostinos y alguna almeja ... los calamares en su tinta dejan mucho que desear, los calamares en trocitos pequeños y la salsa aguada, las sardinas sin limpiar y sin ningún gusto, las albóndigas de lata con la misma salsa de la sopa y algo de agua.... lo único que se salva es la pechuga de pollo a la plancha. El servicio correcto, y el ambiente demasiadas mesas para el sitio que tiene dentro del local. Un error la decisión de cenar allí.

I really Love this Spanish Restaurant and the customer service. Every time I come to London I have ‘Cordero el Metro’. This is delicious. I recommend it .

Such a lovely place for dinner, we sat outside with blankets and it was very cosy. Service was outstanding, staff are so friendly and welcoming. Food was delicious with good size portions and best of all they are v dog friendly!

Go in here every time we go to watch Chelsea. Great little place for beers, however, last time I was overcharged and I believe it was deliberate. Such a shame, but won’t trust them again.

Food was average, the waiter was lovely but the manager was very rude, aggressive and intimidating. We didn’t want to pay the service charge which is actually optional as it states on the gov website, but he was having none of it and stormed over to us and asked us what the problem is with a frown on his face. He was so intimidating that one of my friends ended up just paying the £20 SC so he would let us leave. I won’t be returning unfortunately as that kind of attitude is not very nice.

Poor food, thats not Spanish. The waiter is rude, when you ask for tap water he refuses and brings you bottled? When you ask to remove the service charge because he is rude, arrogant, the food is cold, salty and not enjoyable, he refuses? Never go here. Overpriced for this food.

Almost 3 years on since my last Chelsea home game and I arrived early enough (c545pm) on Wed 30 Aug to secure an outside table at my favourite pre match restaurant, which is a short walk from Stamford Bridge stadium. Always a friendly welcome and I love the food and drink here. On this occasion, an Estrella beer while reviewing the menu and then 3 tapas dishes (grilled sardines, sauteed chicken breast and potato with a light garlic mayonnaise) with a large glass of the house red wine. All good portion sizes for tapas and all superb ! Point to note - it was cash only (this may be a match day arrangement).

I came here after delivering my 18yo niece to BIMM, opposite. Excellent food. I had tripe madrileña - if you're not sure about tripe, do give this paprika-rich, soup/stew a try, you'll love it. And padrón peppers and fried, sliced aubergine ("berenjenas"). All excellent. Service was reserved, there when you wanted it, not annoyingly in your face - perfectly judged. I hope I'll have an excuse to go again.

Opted for the set lunch menu, which we had to request upon being left with the regular menu. For starters, the charcuterie board was nice but the pork skewers were dry and tasteless. The paellas (seafood and chicken) were pleasant and the portion size was really decent. Service was lovely, it was nice to sit outside with blankets offered.

Encontramos el local por casualidad esta semana durante las vacaciones en Londres. Buscábamos, mientras paseábamos, un sitio para comer antes de visitar el campo del Chelsea. De hecho, hasta que no entramos no nos dimos cuenta que eran españoles. Disfrutamos de un ambiente y una comida muy agradable. Sin duda, un local recomendable.
