El Mercado in Swansea

Some niiice Mexican food. The lady was really nice to talk to as well. Shame they ran out of some items but it was really tasty so I'm not surprised.

Every time I’m in Swansea I try to fit in a visit to El Mercado. Had an absolute feast on this occasion and loved it as always! Pulled pork burritos and vegan bean patties are excellent! Swansea market also had live music on that day which was nice.

This food is absolutely amazing. Burritos, tacos, quesadillas, salad options, vegan friendly all at a reasonable price with excellent service. Tables are available in the market seating area. (5m) Highly recommended!

Oh lord above, what a place, very rarely open and you have to go on at least 3 trips around the market to find this diamond in the rough, I’ve only seen it open twice and had a burrito each time, you think you’ve had the best burrito? No you haven’t, unless you’ve been here and tried the holy grail of Mexico you will never know what it’s like to reach ascension.

Found in the Market, El Mercado was one of the many vendors inside. We ordered quesadillas with chicken and a burrito with bbq pork. Each of us loved the food! The gal behind the counter couldn’t have been friendlier and offered up suggestions for sightseeing! Wonderful!!!

Great Mexican kiosk inside the Swansea market. Open from 11am to 4pm if I'm not mistaken. Ate here also because it had some good vegan options😍 I took a quesadilla with mini vegan burgers and Mexican brown rice inside plus some vegetables. He put a vegan mayonnaise as a sauce. We struggled a bit to understand each other in English🤣 but everything went ok plus excellent price I spent only 7 pounds including a canned drink. Truly a great place especially if you want to eat Vegan while spending very little. It doesn't have its own tables but I also put a photo where in the center of the market there is a catering area where anyone who wants can sit to eat in comfort, it's really very close to this little Mexican restaurant

Great Burritos - Whenever I’m in town around feeding time I get one - stall served in sort of a Subway format - lots of filling choices all home made - very very tasty and for a good feed on the run too, just make sure you peel the foil down as you eat because it is FILLED 😋🤤👌🏻👌🏻

Had a perfect burrito here at a bargain price. Also, the lady serving us was lovely and recommended a much better beach nearby than the one we'd planned to visit. Thanks, Burrito Lady - I think you saved our day!

Superb, refreshing addition to Swansea Market! Mexican Street food in very reasonable prices with friendly owner. Only one thing I would change - sauces! - better to focus on two or free homemade than bought ready to use (quality drop)
