El Bahja in Leeds

Ordered a falafel gyros and ended up with a dry pitta bread with falafel around, undercooked hallumi and salad around. Poor quality of food presentation and also poor customer service when we rang to complain. Big disappointment

Unfortunately a really bad experience I am a professional chef of over 35 years and know the industry very well and know how hard it is , this experience was terrible, The first delivery arrived in good time, once I removed the lids you could tell immediately it was cold not just tepid but cold, I thought ok will microwave not a massive issue for us , while I warmed the meat my wife started her salad and garnish, she had to stop immediately the Baba Ganouch was fizzing and off terrible, I then called the restaurant immediately they apologised and said they would replace, 1hour and 20mins later it arrived, To be honest just I now wanted our £30 back, I took the food then saw no chips, The driver then knocked on the door and said the chips were inside he also had I assume the owner on the phone who started to argue with me about it all to be fair the driver was trying to help by offering us 50 percent discount next time....there will be no next time.... Customers are not always right but you never argue with them you try to fix the problem. In the end we hardly ate any of it whilst arguing mine had gone cold the guy on the phone said it was a cold night and only one driver , I never saw any heat bags I just saw the food come out of the boot of the car, maybe a heat bag was in there??? Anyway will be contacting the restaurant direct for a refund and sincerely hope they take on board my comments as they are there to try to help and not to let other customers down!!

Massively improved all round. Food piping hot, great presentation and friendly staff while ordering a delivery. We will be back again and again if this continues.

This is a take away with tables to eat in as well. The food was delicious with good service. Very reasonable prices will definitely come back v

We’ve been ordering takeaways for ages from El Bahja and tried eating in and it was great! Felt like we were on holiday 😍 lovely lamps and plates The takeaways never leave you feeling sluggish! Really good vegetarian/ vegan options

Visited El Bahja with family and we were very happy with the meals. The service was friendly and fast. Cosy seating area and spacious enough to feel safe eating in. We had a pizza, selection of dips with pitta bread, lamb tagine and mergues sausages, a North African type of spicy sausage. Highly recommend it, also Take away available using JustEat. We completed our meals with a traditional mint tea and some baklava. My daughter had a lovely Oreo milkshake. We will go back again soon.

i was excited to see a place with an extensive vegan / vegetarian menu in leeds, but was very disappointed. the chips were barely cooked, the vegan “doner meat” tasted nothing like the meat version and was smothered in lots of sauce but still tasted bland, garlic mayo was a strange yellow colour and they only delivered one when we ordered two, as well as only one pepsi when we ordered two. the milkshakes were tasteless and lukewarm upon arrival like they’d been sat out for 10 minutes or so. the main meal was also lukewarm. big portions and quick delivery but not happy with the quality of the vegan food. perhaps the meat products are better as i’ve seen many reviews of this kind, but doesn’t suit my taste. my boyfriend got a full refund from justeat however, so we can’t complain :)

Ordered last week and as usual worth every penny and the effort of the drive from other side of Leeds, oh and getting stuck in the ring road closure. As ever fantastic service, beautiful flavoursome and fresh food. Divine cake. The owner was on site and always a pleasure to chat too. Thanks guys keep it up x

Got take out today. As we are both Vegan this is perfect place. Such a wide selection. The food is all fresh and the service is fantastic, friendly and with a smile x We tried the mint tea which I've had a few but have to say this was my favorite My husband got the Gyros and I got the "chicken" Shawarma. Both were divine, fully of flavour and lively and fresh. Price is good too. Then to top off my absolute favorite the Vegan Baklava if anything, worth a trip just for that. We just have their homemade tofu to try x Would highly recommend

Ordered from here several times and the food has always been cold even when it has been delivered after just 25 minutes. The food is nice but when you are paying more than any other takeaway in the area it leaves a bitter taste in your mouth. We won’t be back.

We're vegan and there was nowhere else we could enjoy a vegan meal like we did at El Bahja ...for starters we had mix dips Hummus Baba ganouche with pitta and main course we shared a pizza and a vegetarian couscous ....absolutely delicious...wife pretty happy as in the pic ...we' ll come back and thanks for delivering such beautiful food ...in a beautiful clean Moroccan atmosphere ..

Ordered 4 burgers over the phone, the place is very nice inside, they have a sit down area and lots of Moroccan and north African lamps and plates on the wall, the burgers we got where spot on and home made, very fresh, will definitely be returning

Nice clean place, walk in and you are hit by beautiful the smell of the grill. Large menu, everything I try is really tasty, freshly cooked, hot and wonderful spices & fresh herbs. Do everything from pizza & burgers to kebabs, tagines and sharing platters. Fantastic neighbourhood takeaway!

You must try this place my friends. The food service and friendliness of this establishment is second to none. Highly recommended x

We've visited this place for the first time. It's a newly opened moroccan restaurant takeaway . Food was amazing cooked to perfection in front of you ...enjoyed it throughly ..for the dessert I've tried this lovely vegan cake ..I would recommend this place ....!!!

Visited this newly opened restaurant in Leeds 7 and I would thoroughly recommend it. Authentic Moroccan food prepared and served by friendly and welcoming professionals. El Bahja is amazing. It accomodates all dietary requirements. They have a full vegan menu which has a vast and very tasty amount of choice. I am truly amazed by their food. Their falafel and vegan pizzas are so delicious. The staff are really friendly...
