EFE Turkish Kebab & Pizza House in Aberdeen City

Great delivery, terrible food. The kebab was average at best ( I threw half in the bin) and I ordered coke zero but received diet coke which I hate. Also the hummus is the worst I have ever tasted, far too smooth like baby food(also went in the bin).

Phoned the restaurant and never got a proper update on my order they where very rude.

Food was cold on arrival and over an hour late.

Chicken felt and looked uncooked. Salad didnt seem fresh. Onion Rings were soggy. Chips and Coke was only enjoyable thing. Driver was nice.

Order confirmed at 17:22, expected delivery was 18:15-18:30, phoned Efe at 19:00 to be told they only have one driver and it will be 30 minutes. Phoned again at 20:00 to be told the driver will be 10 minutes. Currently at 20:32 with no food.

Order very late have to cancel as I’m leaving address and it’s still not here, no refund?

Your service is very poor and unprofessional. I have not gotten my order for over an hour. Yet it indicates that the food has been delivered. This is so unprofessional and frustrating

Hot when it arrived and decent food

Chicken was very dry. Seemed like yesterdays food but reheated. Chips and cheese only just get pass marks but if the delivery took any longer they’d of also been freezing and un edible. Nearly an hour for delivery, this was the stated time when I ordered but I was expecting hot fresh food and this wasn’t the case

At the beginning delivery says 40 mins when already ordered it changed to 1h-1.5h. One of the kebab was wrong bread and meat. Overall was okey but nothing special to be honest.

Was the best turkish takeaway in Aberdeen. Was a year ago. (used to be my favourite) Had a doner chicken kebab last night. It was the worst one I have ever had. Meat half uncooked, half over cooked, no salt or any taste, garlic sauce just plain jogurt, no garlic or nothing. Does the owner actually try food he's selling because it was disgusting 🤮

Food arrived over an hour late. The food is freezing cold. It’s all soggy because it’s been sitting for so long. Waste of time. Asked for certain things and that hasn’t even been listened to.. Won’t be going back.

When ordering food estimated delivery time was 25-40 minutes, once ordered it jumped to 50-70 minutes, food finally arrived after 75 minutes. No salad with kebab or on chicken burger as stated. Food was lukewarm on arrival and pretty average.

Ok the food was just great :) but the £1.00 charge for bag? Where was the bag? I didn’t see it :)

Two hours to come from placing the order, said 25-40 mins, no update and had to phone 3 times.

Order late, shockingly poor customer service when called to find out as had been put as delivered on time was not here till hour late! No apology! Also forgot to send part of order!! Which cost £50 rounded up! Safe to say do not recommend!

chips cold and VERY over cooked , chicken in the munchie box was all batter and hardly any chicken and really over cooked , the sauce was 1oz in a 4 oz tub for extra £1 pitta bread was wet and so soggy it wouldn't hold anything, really disgusting taste I had to cook something else for my kids .

We bought two of the cheapest wraps, I didn't expect the meat to be really tasty and there would be a lot of it. Everything was fresh, the kitchen was clean, I had a positive impression. I'm from Aberdeenshire, when I'm nearby and hungry I'll definitely stop by again.

Chicken pakoras looked like they wasn’t cooked properly, some of them were black inside. I would not order them again. Pizza was 10/10

The best chips and the best calzone kebab that I’ve ever had. At first I thought the place wasn’t good because always looks empty but how wrong I was. Now it’s my favourite place for chips and kebab.

Ordered at 18:20 for 18:55. Received an update would not be ready until 19:20 so I went over to collect at 19:10 and the food was ready to be collected. So why was I told 19:20. Even when I went to collect the servers just ignored the fact they had a customer waiting. Will not be back.

We ordered a large pizza and chessy chips. Food was spot on. Parking out the front.disables wheelchair access. Not many seats to sit down and eat but it's not a restaurant.great customer service.great food.very clean environment.would definitely come back for pizza again and may be try a grilled kebab.looking at the reviews had me worried but I guess you always find haters everywhere. It was more than an hour late and when it arrived it was freezing cold. I don't mind it being late these things happen but when it's cold this is unacceptable. I have already had a response saying I won't be getting a refund due to it being late - as I say being late is not the issue it's the freezing cold food that turned up that is the problem.

As someone who worked there , owner is terrible , haven’t paid me and two other members of staff our wage ( paid £5 an hour cash ) which is illegal, never seen hand soap in the place and the place is just terrible

ordered 2x kebabs last night for delivery 2x cans of coke & 2x garlic sauces all came to £40 was a bit taking back by the price but thought it must be worth it was i so wrong the chips was barely cooked the kebab had tasted like it was cooked 5 days ago rock solid wouldn’t even feed to my dog and was even disgusted to find 2 hairs in the food

I have ordered from Efes on Great Northern Road many times before but will not be back in a hurry. I ordered meat samosas among other items for collection. When I got home, I found 1 solitary meat samosa along with some spring rolls. One of the rolls was soggy and ripped at the bottom - see photo in this review - and inedible. It looked disgusting. When I called to see what has happened, I was told they had run out of samosas - you would think this would be information to give me when I there as I would have ordered something else. Not good enough in the slightest and incredibly disappointing.

Ordered kebab with chips. Never see it till I got home. Was absolutely disgusting. Nothing more to say, but avoid at all costs

One of the best take out places ever. Food is delicious, portions very generous and delivery always on time. My favourite is their chicken donner in all forms. Last night we got a wrong delivery (it can happen everywhere). Upon calling them, they immediately started on a new order and delivered it within next half an hour- really great service. Thank you!

Chicken Donner is one of the best I've tried.

First timers! We ordered Lamb Bursa and Lamb Shish kebabs. Freshly cooked to order, really crisp and beautiful salad with shish, choice of sauces, and very reasonably priced. Absolutely delicious, we haven’t had kebabs for ages - these did not disappoint! We’ll be back - thank you

To be honest, I think that in any takeaway there is a lot of dirt in the kitchen...hygiene is not maintained...But here at Efe, hygiene and cleanliness come first...I think very few shops like this can offer services at such a high quality...I recommend with great confidence... Over prices drunk females. Funny enough I wasn’t as drunk as he thought and documented it… I was charged £10 for what you see in this photo

Total disgrace was quoted £26:99 and when deliveries arrived he charged me £36:99, when I phoned to question this the staff member said I must of nisheard her, which I definitely didn't as other members in my household heard her say £26:99. So customers please be careful with the price you are quoted and the price you pay at door.

1st time ordered from here as our usual kebab house cancelled our order due to shortage of drivers with no notification, ordered from EFE and the food was amazing & hot, will use EFE kebab house again in future.

Never delivered and never refunded. They claim they never heard of me. Can't wait for them to say that again below. No refund on site either.

I was driving pass popped in tried pizza and doner kebap. It’s not the best one i had but could definitely say that best in Aberdeen. Sauces deserve extra point

Ordered a mixed shish with lamb doner. Didn't get any lamb shish in the box. The salad was fresh and tasty and so were the chips. Unfortunately that's all that was good. The doner meat I would put on the low end of the quality scale, as you can taste the cheapness of the meat. The chicken shish was bland and had an off smell to it. Bit disappointed as I paid a lot for what appears to be sub-standard food.

DO NOT GO HERE!!! I was charged £37 for a small amount of food and when questioned I asked for a receipt which was £27. (Which sounded more reasonable) I explained I handed £40 to this man and got £3 back in change. He started calling me all the names under the sun and giving me both fingers in front of a large amount of people that were in this shop, which was very embarrassing considering I was very polite! I was so embarrassed!! The abuse I got from him was unbelievable! I was sober and then a girl after me was shouting and swearing at him about 30 mins later as I was waiting for my taxi and he did the same to her. I would avoid EFES on chapel street! Which is a shame as I always enjoyed their food!!! But he is unbelievable and ripping off all (intoxicated) customers! Beware when going here! Man in photo = Grow up!

I ordered from here this evening. The food is absolutely shocking! Our kebab meat was fatty, greasy and flavourless. It was inedible. Even the dog wouldn't eat it. Currently waiting to hear back about a refund

Worst kebab I've had in ma life, £12 for a piece of pitta bread with a handful of meat thrown on top , I wouldn't feed it to the rats at work and the drink was warmer than the food. And yer hamemade garlic sauce was pish.

I only go their once in a blue moon. The portions are big. But you can see just about everything they do when making your food. All the times iv been iv never seen anyone wash their hands. Or carry a towel like a proper chef or cook does

One of the cleanest and best kebab shops in Aberdeen. Forget the rubbish reviews. We're fussy and we've been ordering for over 6 months and never had a bad deal. Chicken kebab is fantastic and the sweet dessert Baklava is a must

Ordered Efes a few times, they've delivered to Hattoncrook for us and it's amazing. By far the best Döner meat around. Wife's German and she agrees which is good coming from her! Pizzas are brilliant too! Zero complaints 👌

Delivery was 1 hour late, called the restaurant twice to only get attitude from the woman who answered, first time she hung up on us. Went outside to find the delivery guy in the next street. Food was past being edible. Shame. Won't be ordering again.

Thought I was paying for a Turkish kebab, not for it to be made by an African student that takes your order. Other Turkish looking guy in the background can’t even crack a smile. Food hardly had any taste. AVOID!!
