Eat Well in Salford

Had salt and pepper chips last night been ill all night and day being sick the chips were soft and greeces as hell never again

Called in here for my lunch the other day as Ive just started work in the area. Chips n curry, it was tasty. Nothing too special, just a normal typical Chinese takeaway. Did the job on the day, and I'll prob go back.

Best Beef Fried Rice in town! Spices are sublime and the meat very tender. The lady at the phone/till is very nice.

Had the beef curry dinner special. If I'd had known you get tiny amount of chips and then they use the curry from the pot with few pieces of fatty beef and few mushrooms and onions with no flavour. The lady behind the counter has a bad attitude as well. Won't be returning.

One of the Best Chinese I ever had

Been going here for a while for my lunch but lady behind the counter tried ripping me off charging me an extra £2 for asking for my gravy separate. I then ordered each item separately and it worked out cheaper. No apology given either.

Great take away. Prices are good and portion size is good. I can't fault anything. A note to a person who called the lady in the shop. I have bad legs and find it difficult to climb steps. Every time the lady sees me she sends me back to my car and brings my order out. Best dish salt and pepper.

Been going here when it was frank Wongs, shows my age, even though it changed hands a few times the food has always been great and massive portions.

chicken fried rice gorgeous but ribs were inedible . Threw most of them away .

Considering this is a food establishment, you would think they would clean the front of the shop area because it’s constantly blighted with litter. The tiles haven’t been cleaned in years and you can write your name on the filth that’s accumulating on the vented windows. If this is an acceptable standard to them, I doubt food hygiene standards are treated seriously so I avoid this shop because of this.

I don’t feel comfortable ordering food from this outlet as the front of it is filthy with ripped posters and filthy window frames, tiles and pavement. If they don’t care about this then I doubt they care about hygiene so not for me

Stood and waited and was complelty blanked I was the only person in the shop granted the lady was on the phone but she clearly saw me and then after about 5 mins others walked in and she took there order, I waited another 5 and then just left ....poor customer service ignoring customers!!

My absolute go to Chinese in the area. The portions are very well sized for the money and most dishes come with the rice or chips included. The food is always very hot and well presented. The fire chow mein and seaweed is our favourite! Definitely recommend as the best Chinese in the area, and we love supporting local.

Great tasting food Very large portions, food was very hot. The Singapore vernacille was full of fresh vegetables and spicy chillis. The dishes were well priced.

Owenrs changed and food no where near as nice or as fresh as once was, was my daily routine to have it qt work and will now be looking a new place to eat, very disappointing.

Soggy chips, and I mean the soggiest ones in the whole town. Repeatedly and consistently always soggy only. Soggy soggy soggy. Utterly bad, which is sad as they have best curry sauce I ever tried. That’s why I’ve been so many times. Sadly it’s all soggy soggy soggy.

Delicious food, proper traditional British Chinese! Love it, my favourite Chinese takeaway in the world.

Eat Well is only a five minute drive from my flat so I often pop in on my way home if working late and don't really have time to cook. It's a no-nonsense Chinese takeaway serving delicious, well coked food. Singapore fired vermicelli is my favourite but all the classics are there - from Sezchuan chicken to seaweed to fried mushroom to ribs and everything you ever want. Every item has a number and it's like walking back into my childhood (Kevin's Chop Suey House, bottom of Osbourne Avenue in Jesmond). Love it!

Cash only? In a time when we aren't meant to be sharing things we touch, they ask for cash only?

Excellent Chinese food and delicious fish and chips. Generous portion of chips do we order only one portion with 2 fish. It's enough for both of us. Highly recommend.

The worst thing about moving away from Salford was moving away from this place. Will forever hold a place in my heart Favourite dishes have to be the salt and pepper chips. Vermicelli dishes. Anything with king prawns Also the chippy itself is great, cheap as! Only thing is it's cash only so make sure you've got some with you as the closest cash machine charges

Since the new people have taken over the food standard is not good at all, today lunch I went in for salt & pepper chips and sausage £3.40! I counted out £3.40 from my wallet the lady took my money went out of sight and then said I gave her less. Today’s the last day I go this place, I have been going there for 10 years seen three owners change hand but these people are the worse.

Sweet and sour pork does not come with sweet and sour sauce been twice now and both times no sause.

Been here many times before.Have never had any complaints about the service or food. However when l went this evening. The standard of food was well below par. Chips were 80% scratchings. Salt and pepper chicken was overcooked. The beef in the fried rice was inedible. Extremely disappointed 😞

Nipped in here at dinner as we were passing. Very busy. Ordered chips, sausage barm and a chip barm. Order was taken by polite staff. Waited 10 minutes and order was done. Chips were very nice, soft and tasty. Same as the sausage barm. Cooked just right.

All been great but today service was terrible.. Ordered to be picked up on way to Work, and when i arrive no order had been made. Then then they make order and i get to work and tge order is wrong!
