I've tasted sourdough bread in a number of places e.g. France, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, NZ and USA, but, hand on heart, this IS the best: evenly risen crumb; ideal moisture; deliciously wheaten, delicately tangy flavour and a toothsome crust. Fresh or toasted (two very different but equally delectable experiences!), topped with just butter, comté cheese or honey will leave you culinarily smitten. Congratulations Dozen Artisan Bakery!

I was delighted when I found this bakery around the corner from my AirB&B, but it’s worth travelling to if you’re not local. Delicious artisan bread and flaky, buttery morning pastries. Not cheap but anything made with quality ingredients and care is not going to be. Excellent value I’d pay more for similar bakery items in Edinburgh. Friendly service.

Stumbled on this place by accident and I’m really glad I did! Been twice now and both times the pastries were excellent. The almond danish I had was to die for. They’ve also got some deli goodies in a fridge and I can’t wait to go back for lunch one day and try the focaccia. If you’re in the area, you can’t go wrong with one of their breakfast pastries!

Best ever Norfolk Rhubarb tart - absolutely delicious and well worth standing in a Covid queue in the pouring rain today! - excellent bakery top notch in my opinion. If you are looking for quantity over quality then not the place for you. I will visit again.

Nos quedamos cerca visitamos aquí para tomar un desayuno 'sobre la marcha'. Muy popular entre los lugareños, la concurrida tienda servía justo lo que queríamos.

What a shame! Really good bakery but do the staff go ve you the burned stuff. Just got two scones and an almond croissant and everything was over baked.

This is a simple business focused on one thing: baking a small variety of breads of exceptional quality. Every loaf I've tried slices well and tastes superb. Their basic white is the best toasting bread I have ever eaten: I could easily put away half a loaf at a sitting if I didn't exert some restraint. Their sourdough is airy, toothy, and subtly tangy. Their croissants and other pastries are huge, crisp, and buttery. I consider myself blessed to live within a ten minute walk of here and hope to enjoy their goods for many years to come.

After watching a frustrating draw at Carrow Road, I wanted something more substantial to eat before heading back to the Travelodge - I didn’t want biscuits or a savoury snack from a local shop! By chance Sall’s Lokma was on the journey back - which was very fortunate for me. I ordered a chicken wrap with chips from a varied menu that included burgers, wraps and vegetarian food. (There was also a wide selection of sweets and beverages.) The scrumptious chicken wrap was clearly the best I have had in years; solidly filled with chicken, fresh vegetables and coleslaw. The chips were chunky and delicious. All of which, was served on a wooden platter. I could have eaten inside but it was the first warm night of the year, so I ate the wrap on one of the tables outside. The whole experience was well worth the money, unlike the football game. So I think I’ll try a sweet and coffee after the next game before catching the train home.

Came in on my own on a Friday night and it was quite busy, but I managed to get a table. It was a little loud due to the crowds and I felt the lighting was slightly too bright but nothing that would've diminished the quality of my meal. The staff were lovely and friendly even though I was clearly underdressed in baggy jeans and a work shirt, they didn't make me feel out of place at all. The prices didn't reflect the fancier vibe, the pizzas were actually super affordable. A small Amalfi (10/10 recommend!!) was the perfect portion for me (a small but very hungry girl). And £9.50 is really not bad for a triple cheese pizza. I even got free chilli flakes with it. This place would be lovely for a date night, family or office party as that seemed to be most of the clientele at the time.
