I've been here twice for workshops. Although I can't comment on the rooms as I've never stayed overnight, the hotel itself is lovely and clean. Staff are friendly and helpful. Lovely coffee from the machines and good location to park. My only cricitism would be that it's very hot in there!

A nice airport hotel near the MIA. It's two or three hundred meters far from the airport. And it's very close to the complex terminal of ground transportations. Rooms are clean and comfortable, and services including breakfast are excellent. You can enjoy a cozy stay there.

I’m Diamond with Hilton but this was the worst experience I’ve had with them. We arrived late on a Saturday having flown in from France. The bar is advertised as staying open until 11 pm. We got to the bar at 10:40 pm and were told we could only have bottle beers as they had closed. We decided to order room service. Once we called up we were told they only did basic pizzas and sandwiches, despite the in-room menu being extensive (we were told it was the old menu). We ordered a Margarita pizza, which was truly awful — obviously a reheated frozen pizza. Overall a bad experience.

I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking to host event days or nights away. We stayed overnight prior to our work events, where we had booked 8 rooms for meetings. From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional. All staff were extremely helpful and ensured the days ran smoothly. The location was perfect for colleagues using public transport, as it’s so close to the airport. During our stay, we had dinner at the hotel restaurant, which was lovely, and part of our package included a hot and cold buffet lunch during the meeting. It was a huge hit with all our guests. A huge thank you to all the staff at DoubleTree for making our stay so memorable. We will definitely consider booking again for future events!

Well-sutituated close to the airport, just 7 mins walk from the Terminal. Family room of two queen beds plus sofa bed accommodated our family of five brilliantly, rare to find a hotel that does so. Room and bathroom were really clean, comfortable and spacious. Staff really friendly and helpful. No problems with noise levels. Good WiFi included. Good value overall with breakfast included. Only negative really was the food (kids buffet nor the bar menu food in general) was particularly good quality. No availability in main restaurant but perhaps that would have been better quality. An easy, generally good and very handy stay for our overnight passing through Mcr airport.

As is becoming all too apparent with unscrupulous private parking shysters, the unsuspecting customer visiting this hotel needs to be very wary of the misleading parking regime. The signage is unclear when the time starts and ends, the staff don't have a clue how it works and the harassment from the rogue parking company is wholly disproportionate. Very surprised DoubleTree choose to appoint such an immoral bunch of money scammers and even more surprised they won't step in to override such malpractice. Talk about the tail wagging the dog. No warm welcome here. The food is less than mediocre and the staff are so slow. Genuine travellers BEWARE!!

Great place nice and easy to get to airport ect,rooms are showing signs of wear and tear small rips in chairs and wasn't a fan of shower curtain, staff were lovely small problem at breakfast where a pair of tongs were dropped on the floor and put back at the food.

** updated after reply A great check in experience but when trying to eat I got presented with a form I had to sign first. I had to complete it to state I have a shellfish intolerance but I am happy to consume food containing shellfish. I’ve had to complete a form with this wording before and have been made to feel very unwelcome, I’ll have to order from Uber for dinner now * Update after reply To confirm, having advised the staff I had a mild intolerance to Crustaceans & Mollusca only and ordered battered white fish and chips, I’m surprise their staff insist I ordered a dish containing Crustaceans or Mollusca and I feel their F&B staff look at some serious training

I recently stayed at the DoubleTree by Hilton Manchester Airport and made two bookings. While the stay was comfortable overall, there were a few points worth noting: Pros: - The check-in experience was pleasant, with welcoming staff, cookies, and chocolate from the tree. - The rooms, while dated, were clean and well-maintained. The main bed was comfortable, and the climate control worked well. - The sofa bed, while soft and bouncy, was suitable for lighter guests or children. - The bathroom was clean, with well-stocked soaps and shampoos. - The 24-hour gym, although small, had good equipment and was a nice touch. - Checkout was straightforward and hassle-free. Cons: - It was frustrating to find that closer to the date, the price was about £15/night cheaper than what I had booked in advance. - The car park is £17/night, and when I arrived, it was full. I had to park all the way around in Zone 5. - The third-floor lift lobby smelled damp throughout the weekend, though this wasn’t an issue in the corridors or rooms. - There was inconsistency with offering water, as I didn’t receive it during my first booking but did on the second. Overall, it was a comfortable stay with good amenities, friendly service, and a great location for the airport. However, a few minor improvements, particularly with pricing and parking, would enhance the experience.

Initial greeting excellent, food in restaurant ok, went back to my room and there was a noise of running water. Called the front desk and they said someone would be there in 5 mins with a card, which they were, who promptly left, with the lift, leaving me hanging around in my PJs with my bags and no help. New room on ground floor so nice walk of shame.

I only attended here for a day seminar so can't comment on the rooms. The car parking is horrendous. Seminar room was fine. Toilets clean and well stocked. Bar was a bit expensive but then that's usual with hotels.

Hotel is conveniently located right next door the airport. You could walk. We had many bags so we chose to take the shuttle. You do have to pay for the shuttle. At first I questioned why would a hotel charge for a shuttle but they said it's done by a third party. Nice bar area with decent food options. My room was ok. Could use some updating. There was some stains on my towels. My room didn't have a walk in shower, I don't like tubs and prefer walk in showers. My top door latch was broken. But for 1 night it was ok.

The rooms are ok but you can hear all the noise from the corridor. Annoying when youve got people catching early flights being loud. Staff in the restaurant in the evening are rude, dont know if its just because they are italian but honestly need some people skills.. the breakfast is awful .. sausages taste like the cheapest meat, and the hashbrown scraps are literally that .. burnt scraps ..chef needs a new pan for the omelette because boy they come off looking like crap!! Youre better off walking to crown plaza to have breakfast there. Its so much better!

The location was great for a quick trip to the airport for an early morning flight. The room was nice with comfy beds and plush pillows. Would have liked an additional blanket. Staff was friendly and helpful for the most part. Asked about locally eateries and they wouldn't give a recommendation because it takes money away from their on site restaurant.

It’s a really good hotel good location. From the hotel you do have to walk across a rather busy street while there are crosswalks they really inconvenient but you can run across the street go right into the train station/bus station of the airport and walk to your terminal. They do offer a shuttle. I think it was either five or 10 pounds to use it per person. Therefore, I recommend just walking into the station at the airport. The restaurant at the hotels is fine. Breakfast is good. Dinner is fine. The service is also quite good. The rooms are all clean. Well kept maintenance is clearly done on time. The staff is friendly and very helpful if you have any questions on how to get into the airport or get around if you’re just visiting, they seem very knowledgeable and willing to assist.

Worst experience ever and that's even before my stay. I made booking directly on their website and was charged 3 times for my booking, I contacted their head office and was transferred to several people and no one was able to help and asked my to call them back, I then tried the reception, they acknowledged the mistake but was very rude, asked for a call back from the manager and no one contacted me, I then called a few more times and eventually got hold of the manager who was even more rude and did nothing to address my concerns and just fuelled my anger. I will not be using this hotel again or the Hilton group again, they don't care about customer service!

I'm giving the hotel three stars, because a really good hotel provides a memorable breakfast, the key difference for me is whether smoked salmon is provided, but they only had the usual cold meats. Lunch too was a tasteless, dismal affair. I tried ironing my crumpled suit trousers but the iron wouldn't get hot enough, so I asked houseeping for another, but the replacement had the same problem. This airport hotel is right next the train station, so the location is good.

My stay was spoilt by the shuttle service at the hotel. It was very poor. They didn't turn up on my return journey and there's no way to contact them to enquire why? Or even if they're on their way? They left my family, including a heavily pregnant wife, and two year old on the terminal pickup point scratching our heads on a cold January morning after a twelve hour flight. Thanks CPP Shuttles! This service used to be free but now you have to pay for it. Which is bizarre considering they are an airport hotel. You don't stop there for the nightlife, to go shopping or watch a sports game. You stop there as it's close to the airport. Shame on you for profiteering on a service every guest will need Doubletree and for dealing with these cowboys at CPP Shuttles.

The welcome at the hotel was pleasant and room clean, we spent some time at the bar where the staff were also helpful and polite. However booked in for dinner at the restaurant- we waited 25 mins to be asked if we wanted a drink. We then chased the food twice and after being told it would be out soon after an hour and a half it eventually came out. The starters were good but the ox pie had never seen an ox cheek and the steaks were absolutely awful so overcooked. We did highlight at the time but nothing was suggested to resolve. Poor food overall and would recommend staying at the hotel but eating elsewhere.

Solo he cenado con trabajo, así que ir el 5 de marzo fue la primera vez que cené con amigos y como siempre el servicio fue impecable! On my second visit to Nam, I once again had an exceptionally pleasant experience. The beef pho is a heartwarming, especially on chilly days, and is a must-try for everyone. The consistency in the quality of other dishes is also great. During my first visit, I enjoyed the crispy fried calamari (though I missed taking a photo). The pork belly buns are equally amazing. However, Nam’s chicken wings are my personal favorite. Frankly, I’m not sure as to why this place isn’t more popular, especially when compared to another Vietnamese restaurant in Ancoats. In my opinion, Nam offers far better food and service.
